Steven Yedinak Interview
LTC (RET) Steven M. Yedinak commissioned in the U. S. Army Infantry in 1963 and subsequently spent 26 years in Special Forces and Airborne Infantry. He served two combat tours in Vietnam (1966-67 & 1971-1972), and started the Mobile Guerrilla Force. He is the author of Hard to Forget: An American with the Mobile Guerrilla Force in Vietnam (Random House, 1998). He retired from the Army in 1989

Frank W. Buckles Interview
At the time of this interview, Frank Buckles was 109 years old and the last known surviving World War I veteran in the United States. Born in 1901, he grew up on a farm in Missouri and enlisted at age 16. Joining the Ambulance Corps, Buckles arrived in France a few months before the end of the war. At the beginning of World War II he was working as a civilian in the Philippines when he was captured by the Japanese and held in a POW camp for more than three years
Jim Carver Interview
Jim Carver had a distinguished career as a senior NCO in the U. S. Army Special Forces. He was deployed to Operation Desert Storm while assigned to ODA 326, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), serving as an Engineer Sergeant. Carver subsequently held senior Special Forces training and operations management positions at Fort Bragg, and served as an ROTC Military Science instructor at the University of Richmond
Allen Evans Interview
A decorated veteran of World War II, Allen D. Evans was born and raised in Indiana. He enlisted in the U. S. Army in December 1942 and served in Europe with the 76th Field Artillery Battalion. He was Staff Sergeant in charge of the Fire Direction Center and saw action throughout the ETO, including the battles at Remagen and Ardennes Fores
