The competition was the culmination of a 10-week physical education program. The company that worked the hardest and displayed the best attitude won the Stockwell Cup, named for the late Col. No full textMore than 100 cadets and local EMTs gathered to participate in the 9/11 memorial stair climb, September 11, 2019, in barracks. The event, led by the VMI Firefighting Club, replicated the 110 floors climbed by 9/11 responders in the World Trade Center. Shepherd, Jr., on August 24, 1966, in which he describes the role he played in planning for the landing at Inchon, Korea, on September 15, 1950, and carrying out subsequent operations. The interview was conducted by Mr. Philip P. Brower, Archivist of the MacArthur Memorial in Norfolk, Virginia, and Mrs. Brower. It was recorded in General Shepherd's second-floor study at his home Leeton Forest in Warrenton, Virginia
