Optimizing Maternal and Fetal Health: The Crucial Role of Midwives in Early Detection and Intervention of Pre-eclampsia
Pre-eclampsia is a severe disorder that can affect the health of pregnant women and their unborn babies. Early detection and appropriate interventions are crucial to prevent severe complications. In this context, the role of midwives is essential in managing pre-eclampsia. This study aims to explore the role of midwives in the early detection and intervention of pre-eclampsia. The research method employed in this study is a Systematic Literature Review utilizing academic journal search engines from online databases such as PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus, published between 2007 and 2022. The role of midwives in the early detection and intervention of pre-eclampsia is essential to ensure that the condition is identified and managed effectively to safeguard the health of both the mother and the baby. Research findings indicate that midwives possess good knowledge of the signs and symptoms of pre-eclampsia, as well as early detection methods such as blood pressure measurement and monitoring vital signs. Midwives are also recognized to be critical in managing pre-eclampsia, including using safe and effective medications, appropriate medical interventions, and monitoring and addressing potential complications. Enhancing knowledge, skills, and interprofessional collaboration is critical to effectively managing pre-eclampsia. Through these measures, it is hoped that complications associated with pre-eclampsia can be reduced and healthier pregnancy outcomes can be achieved. However, midwives face several challenges in the early detection of pre-eclampsia, such as limited resources and infrastructure. Therefore, efforts are needed to enhance the knowledge and skills of midwives in monitoring and interpreting laboratory test results, such as urine protein levels

Theoretical Prerequisites For The Study Of Male And Female Discourse In The Context Of Masculine Cultural Pragmatics
Gender linguistics is an important part of gender discourse. The main reason is the fact that people understand and create the world through the language they speak. In this context, “masculinity” and “femininity” are formed and developed differently due to languages and cultures. The study of languages from the perspective of gender linguistics is important for understanding the peculiarities of cultures and intercultural relations. Within the framework of cross-cultural pragmatics, we analyzed the discourse of men and women at the theoretical level, studied the causes of gender differentiation in language. In order to study the causes of gender differentiation in language, we analyzed male and female discourse within the framework of intercultural pragmatics at the theoretical level of the cognitive paradigm and pragmatic semiology. The article deals with the pragmatic value of discourse from the point of view of the cultural code, that is, the semiotic expression of national cultural norms. Cognitive-discursive analysis is carried out on the basis of gender representations. The author uses the type of discourse, which is reflected at the level of topics, the use of communicative methods and tactics, as well as national concepts, to demonstrate the conditionality of the functioning of gender representations. The language that society uses in relation to men and women varies from society to society and from culture to culture. The fact that the dominant ideology in society is determined mainly by men makes women passive and condemns them to live in a language defined by men. The article bases on the studies from a feminist perspective on language and gender relations and show that women are more prone to inflectional sentences because of the sense of insecurity attributed to them

Juridical Overview of the Authority for the Confiscation of Evidence in the Code of Criminal Procedure and Book II of the Technical Guidelines for Administration and Technical Guidelines for General and Special Criminal Court Proceedings of the Indonesia Supreme Court
This study aims to conduct a juridical review of the authority to seize evidence as regulated in the Indonesian Criminal Procedure Law (KUHAP) and Book II of the Technical Guidelines for the Administration and Technicalities of General and Special Criminal Justice by the Supreme Court. The research involves the analysis of legal texts, namely KUHAP and relevant technical guidelines, and the review of pertinent literature. The research findings reveal that the Supreme Court clearly outlines the authority to seize evidence in the Indonesian criminal procedure in KUHAP and Book II of the Technical Guidelines for the Administration and Technicalities of General and Special Criminal Justice. However, certain ambiguities and variations in interpretation exist in its practical implementation. Therefore, there is a need for harmonisation and refinement of regulations and an enhancement of the understanding and awareness among legal practitioners regarding the authority to seize evidence. This research contributes significantly to understanding the role of evidence seizure in the Indonesian criminal justice system. It could improve legal practices related to the exercise of this authority
The Prevalence of Depressive Symptoms in Schizophrenia: A Cross-sectional Study
Schizophrenia is a disorder with a highly heterogeneous clinical picture. Depressive symptoms occur in schizophrenia, and they increase the disease burden and distress. There are very few studies on this topic in India. This study aims to estimate the prevalence of depressive symptoms in schizophrenia and its correlation with socio-demographic factors as well as symptom domains such as positive, negative and general psychopathology. This cross-sectional study was conducted in a tertiary care hospital with consecutive sampling. Persons diagnosed with schizophrenia were administered a semi-structured proforma to collect socio-demographic data. Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS) was administered to assess symptom domains, and The Calgary Depression Scale for schizophrenia (CDSS) was used to measure depressive symptoms. The cut-off score to determine clinically significant depression was fixed at a score >7.This study found that 28.6 % of persons with schizophrenia had clinically significant depression. It was found that there were no significant differences in age, education, marital status, residence, occupation, or socio-economic class between the depressed and non-depressed groups. 40% of the depressed patients had a positive history of previous suicide attempts, while in the non-depressed group, only 14% had a positive history of prior suicide attempts. In this study, the psychopathology of schizophrenia measured by the PANSS positive scale, negative scale, general psychopathology scale, and the PANSS total score did not have any statistically significant correlation with the depressive symptoms assessed by the Calgary depression scale for schizophrenia. The multidimensional model of schizophrenia gives a valid explanation for the absence of any correlation between depressive symptoms and other psychopathological entities. The clinically significant depression in schizophrenia is probably an independent component rather than a consequence of the psychotic symptomatology. The depressive symptoms should be addressed while treating schizophrenia, and appropriate therapeutic interventions are required to decrease the disease burden and improve the quality of life
Study of the Effect of Giving Organic Fertilizer as a Substitution of Chemical Fertilizer for the Growth and Product Components of Corn in Dry Vertisolands
The continuous use of chemical fertilizers causes a decrease in soil quality and crop production. Vertisol soil has sufficient nutrients but cannot be utilized by plants. Provision of organic fertilizers can improve soil quality. This study aims to survey the effect of applying organic fertilizers as a substitute for chemical fertilizers on the growth and yield components of maize in vertisol dry land. This experiment was conducted on vertisol dry land in Mujur Village, Central Lombok Regency, from July to November 2022. The experiment used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factors: organic fertilizer factor P0 (without organic fertilizer), P1 (organic fertilizer 5 t/ha), P2 (organic fertilizer 10 t/ha). Chemical fertilizer factors, K1 (NPK 25%), K2 (NPK 50%), K3 (NPK 75%), K4 (NPK 100%), obtained 12 treatment combinations and three replications so that there were 36 treatment units. The observed parameters included plant height, leaf width, number of leaves, cob weight, length, and cob diameter. Data were analyzed with Factorial RAK ANOVA and further testing using Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) analysis. The results showed that the use of organic fertilizers had a significant impact on all observed parameters. Treatment without organic fertilizer showed a minor effect compared to treatment with organic fertilizer, while treatment P1 (5 t/ha) and P2 (10 t/ha) showed no significant difference except for cob length (P1). The application of NPK fertilizer at doses of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% did not significantly impact corn's growth and yield components
