The Role and Responsibilities of the Notary in Making a Deed of Post-Wedding Marriage Agreement: Study at the Mataram Regional Notary Office, Indonesia
This research aims to analyze the mechanism for making marriage agreement deeds before and after marriage in the Mataram Region and explore the role and responsibilities of Notaries in making post-nuptial marriage agreement deeds. The research method used is an empirical normative legal research method. The approaches used are a statutory approach, a conceptual approach, and a sociological approach. The results of the research obtained by the author, first, are related to the mechanism for making pre- and post-nuptial marriage agreement deeds in the Mataram area, namely the process of making the first marriage agreement deed, namely making a marriage agreement deed before the date the marriage takes place by Article 147 of the Civil Code, register the marriage agreement deed with the District Court by Article 152 of the Civil Code, Ratify the marriage agreement deed by a marriage registration officer from the Population and Civil Registry Office by Article 29 § 1 of Law No 1 1974 concerning marriage. There is no significant difference regarding the preparation of marriage agreements before and after marriage. The following research results formulate the role and responsibilities of a Notary in making post-nuptial marriage agreement deeds based on Article 15 of the Answer Law. Notaries play a role in doing authentic deeds and providing counselling, especially regarding marriage agreements. The notary's responsibilities are stated explicitly in Article 65 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia No 2 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 30 of 2004 concerning Notary Positions
The Dilemma of Balancing between Benefits and Risks: Desert Locust Management Best Practices
While desert locusts threaten human security, management practices can also introduce unintended risks, thus leading to a normative dilemma. Therefore, this study sought to determine desert locust management techniques that protect human security from pests and its management practices in Kenya. The analysis used a mixed methods approach using ex-post facto evaluation and cross-sectional survey designs. The target population included desert locust-affected persons. A multi-stage sampling approach using stratified and purposive random sampling techniques was used to target a sample size of 900 respondents drawn from 30 counties affected by desert locusts. Structured questionnaires and focus group discussions were used to collect quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data was analysed through descriptive and inferential statistics using frequencies, percentages and ordinal logistic regression. Qualitative data was analysed using thematic analysis and incorporated in the discussion. The findings revealed that there were several possible desert locust management best practices. The study concludes that the Integrated pest management (IPM) approach presents an opportunity to build resilience against human resource, technical and financial challenges through the progressive use of readily available knowledge and skills during physical control before advancing to more sophisticated strategies such as biological and chemical control options. The study recommends that scholars, policymakers and practitioners develop a customised IPM strategy for Kenya
The Effectiveness of Multi-Agency Operation Leadership in Mitigating Insecurity in Lamu County, Kenya
There has been much discussion among various stakeholders on the benefits of multi-agency operations in response to security threats. This discussion is constrained, though, in that it downplays the complexity of multi-agency operations. Despite this, several nations, like Kenya, have used a multi-agency approach to deal with challenges related to national security; nevertheless, there is insufficient empirical evidence about the usefulness of this method in reducing insecurity issues. This study aimed to ascertain how well multi-agency operations leadership mitigated insecurity in Lamu County, Kenya. The collaborative advantage theory served as the basis for the investigation. This study used an ex post facto survey research design methodology. The study was carried out in Lamu County with a particular interest in the county's security personnel: an interview schedule and a questionnaire with structured and open-ended questions served as the data-gathering tools. The essential characteristics of the quantitative data gathered were displayed using descriptive statistics, including frequencies and percentages. Thematic analysis was used to create themes by grouping and open coding. The study discovered that multi-agency collaboration leadership successfully reduced insecurity in Lamu County. The study marked these out to address cases of inter-agency rivalry disputes, agency inferiority and superiority complexes, and the necessity to build a shared working policy on the ranking structure for the concerned agencies. The ongoing multi-agency operation has made Lamu County, in general, safer and more stable. Researchers interested in the leadership efficacy of multi-agency procedures are expected to benefit from the findings of this study, as will policymakers in the security sector
Полісемія власних назв у мові фольклору та проблема її відбиття у «Словнику мови усної народної словесності»
The lexical-semantic language system is known to be dynamic. It is constantly evolving and changing. Polysemy is one of the primary means of systematic organization of the linguistic structure of a language. Polysemy is a universal linguistic phenomenon. It provides one of the essential requirements for a language as a signifying system that must convey the maximum amount of information with a minimum number of signs. The words of any language primarily perform a nominative function, i.e., they name various subjects, objects, and phenomena of the surrounding reality. Proper names, as opposed to standard terms, whose semantics unites and generalizes several similar objects, are characterized by the fact that when naming something, they have to individualize the thing to distinguish it from its kind. It would seem that if the function of nouns is to individualize the phenomena of objective reality, to name and determine specific facts or a particular class of names, then they should not be polysemous, but proper names can also be polysemantic, which once again testifies to the universality of the phenomenon we are studying. The main goal of our research is to present examples of lexicographic polysemic onymes present in the language of Ukrainian folklore. The article also aims to identify the main types of proper names that undergo semantic expansion. The onymic space of folklore constitutes a rather extensive system, which still requires further scientific research and lexicographic representation. The prospect of our study is that the material presented in this paper may eventually be included in the "Dictionary of the Language of Oral Folk Literature" or a selective dictionary devoted to proper names used in the language of folklore.
The Main Factors Leading To Code-Switching In Azerbaijan
In today's globalized world integration of languages is a frequently experienced issue. Nowadays, people speak both English and Russian by mixing them with the Azeri language often. In linguistics, this phenomenon of mixing two languages is analyzed and termed in various forms, such as code-switching, interculturalism, code-mixing etc. The study integrates quantitative research to assess interlocutors' and respondents; attitudes toward code-switching by using close-ended questionnaires. By revealing the key aspects affecting the emergence of code-switching from historical perspectives, the paper proves that preserving the originality and uniqueness of a language is a challenge that needs to be overcome. However, nowadays, at some point and by some respondents, this tendency has not been evaluated negatively. By touching upon language contact situations based on intimate intersocietal relations and the outcome of this situation, the author used the quantitative method and data collection to conclude the goal set. Based on the background information of the respective community, the data and calculations are compiled systematically in tables and graphs for further analysis. The research outcome shows that education and other socio-economic relations are vital in protecting the existence and identities of languages. Moreover, the respondents' attitudes toward growing tendency helped to demonstrate the position and perspectives of people from different genders, backgrounds, and occupations.
Juridical Implications on Notary Acts Signed by Circular
This study analyses a notary's primary authority and responsibilities in making a deed and the legal consequences of a circularly signed notary deed. This normative legal research examines primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Legal materials are collected by document study and analyzed normatively and prescriptively. From the results of the investigation, it is known that the essential authority and responsibility of a notary are based on attribution authority through the Notary Office Law, specifically, Article 15, paragraph 1, that a notary authorized to do authentic deeds regarding all actions, agreements, and provisions required by laws and regulations. The notary has civil, criminal and administrative responsibilities based on this authority. Arrangements for signing the deed are regulated in Article 16, paragraph 1-m, in conjunction with Article 44, paragraph 1 of the Notary Office Law, that the signing is carried out immediately after the notary reads the deed to the parties. Based on the research results, it cannot be denied that the parties often do not appear before the notary to sign the deed simultaneously for various reasons. This resulted in the degradation of the authenticity of the act from an authentic deed to a private deed by the contents of Article 16, paragraph 9, in conjunction with Article 44, paragraph 5, Notary Office Law. The process of formalizing an act determines its authenticity, so violations of these provisions are included in defining defects in form because they do not fulfil the formal aspects of doing a deed
The Influence of Trust, Military Leadership and Organizational Environment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior with Mediator Organizational Commitment First Officers
This research delves into the analysis of various factors affecting the organisational citizenship behaviour of First Officers within Koarmada-I. Specifically, the study explores the impact of trust, leadership, environment, and organisational commitment on this behaviour. Military leadership, on the other hand, does not demonstrate a substantial influence on Organizational Commitment, but it does have a considerable effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.Additionally, the environment impacts Organizational Commitment but not Organizational Citizenship Behavior significantly. The study also reveals that Organizational Commitment influences Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Furthermore, there is an indirect effect of Trust on Organizational Citizenship Behavior through Organizational Commitment. However, no indirect effect of Military leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior through Organizational Commitment is observed. Finally, the environment indirectly impacts Organizational Citizenship Behavior through Organizational Commitment
Polysemy and Context in Literary Works
Polysemy is an essential linguistic process that occurs intensively in language. It plays a significant role in creating phraseological combinations and generating various semantic changes in the language. Polysemy should be distinguished from eurysemy (lexical broadness) and homonymy. Polysemy and eurythmy in language and speech reveal some common properties; however, they are essentially different linguistic phenomena. In Eurysemy, the word's meaning is realized similarly through the context, but it does not undergo significant changes. One of the structural components of a polysemous word is a lexico-semantic variation or separate meaning, which is essential in the study of polysemy. Elimination of polysemy - actualization of a particular meaning of a word is carried out in context. There are two opposing views regarding the nature of a word's linguistic meaning in linguistics. The word itself has no lexical meaning and acquires it only in context. The lexical meaning initially enters the word and is only expressed and recognized in context. A polysemantic word implemented within a set of fixed indicators has a phraseologically related meaning, and each combination of a given polysemantic word with a specific hand becomes a separate phrase. The article deals with polysemy in language generally and in literary works. It explains its significant role in creating phraseological combinations and generating semantic changes in the language and other linguistic features

Effect of Facilities Performance and Quality on User’s Satisfaction with Facilities Provided in Industrial Training Fund Building Maitama, Abuja
The study investigated user satisfaction and performance of facilities management service delivery in private high-rise buildings using the industrial training fund (ITF) house Maitama, Abuja, as a study area. Survey research was carried out through the use of a questionnaire instrument. Three hundred fifty questionnaires were administered to users, of which 304 were retrieved. The simple random sampling technique was adopted for the study, while data obtained from the field were analysed using statistical packages for social. The study found that only pest control services, security facilities (e.g. CCTV), parking facilities, and fire extinguishers were rated well by the respondents in the study area. Results also indicate that users were delighted with leisure facilities (e.g. seating bench), refuse disposal facilities, intercom system and TV reception, and recreational facilities and were satisfied too with fire alarms. Users are happy with the pest control systems in the ITF building, security facilities, parking, fire extinguishers, electricity supply systems, water supply systems and air conditioning.Further findings show that facilities performance explains 78.9% of the variance in user satisfaction which is highly significant (Sig. = .000) as indicated by the F-value of 394.4. Furthermore, standardised Beta coefficients indicate that quality has the most significant beta coefficient of 0.826, thus making the most substantial contribution in explaining user satisfaction which means facilities' performance and quality have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction. The study concluded that ITF building Maitama, Abuja facilities are performing satisfactorily. This suggests that the building owners and operators must put substantial provisions in place to perform satisfactorily. Finally, the study recommended that owners and management of high-rise buildings must recognise the need to improve the effectiveness of Facilities service to make the buildings more functional and comfortable for users
