Methodological Aspect of Motivation in the Formation of Communicative Competency in Reading Speciality Literature
Get PDFThe article is devoted to the problem of foreign language from the standpoint of psychology, pedagogy and teaching methods. This problem will be mainly considered in forming communicative competency in reading speciality literature. It should be regarded that motivation is also a method of learning and the object of education. For the learning process, the motivation is the students' orientation to various aspects of learning activity. Therefore, a complex of different impulses creates different types of motivation for students' learning activities. The complex notions should include needs, motives, goals, interests and emotions. Each teacher should apply such a general pedagogical method, called "the method of reasoned encouragement". It is based on the ability of the teacher to notice not only the significant success of the student but also the minor one.Interest in learning is brought up through the content of educational material, increasing educational activities within the framework of problem-based learning, and actual practical tasks corresponding to communicative needs. In the article, several aspects of motivation, as well as through the development of the motivational sphere of the student's personality and its components, were determined and set, such as motives, goals, and emotions

Get PDFThis paper examines data manipulation in terms of data recovery using cloud computing and search engine. Accidental deletion or problems with the remote service cause information loss. This case has unpredictable consequences, as data must be re-collected. In some cases, this is not possible due to system features. The primary purpose of this work is to offer solutions for received data on detected defects of underground metal structural elements using modern information technologies.The main factors that affect underground metal structural elements' durability are the soil environment's external action and constant maintenance-free use. Defects can usually occur in several places, so control must be carried out along the entire length of the underground network. To avoid the loss of essential data, approaches for recovery using Amazon Web Service and a developed web service based on the REST architecture are considered. The general algorithm of the system is proposed in work to collect and monitor data on defects of underground metal structural elements. The result of the study for the possibility of data recovery using automatic snapshots or backup data duplication for the developed system.

Get PDFThe article examines numerous representations and judgments about the object of semiotics research existing in recent years in both domestic and foreign linguistic literature. The history of the analyzed sign system is considered, along with detailed information about linguistic signs' nature, types, and functions. Examples from the works of prominent representatives in this field, such as C. S. Peirce, W. von Humboldt, F. de Saussure, Y. Lotman, and others, are used to comment on the relation to the problem of linguistic meaning. Information about the nature of signs, linearity, freedom, and the functions performed by linguistic cues in the cognitive-communicative process of all symbols used by humans for information exchange and the rules of their application is presented in detail. The conclusion derived from the research is that the symbolic nature of language is one of its fundamental and universal features. When considering the connection between language and thought, it becomes apparent that the primary function of signs is to facilitate and specify the cognitive processes inherent to humans. The cognitive function of linguistic signs is the principal function that distinguishes them from characters in other semiotic systems. Thus, the communicative and generalizing parts of signs are interdependent.В статье анализируются многочисленные представления и суждения об объекте исследования семиотики, существующие в отечественной и зарубежной лингвистической литературе последних лет. Рассмотрена история изученной ею системы знаков, а также даны подробные сведения о природе, видах и функциях языковых знаков. На примерах из работ таких видных представителей этой области как Ч. Сандерс Пирс, В. фон Гумбольдт, Ф. де Соссюр, Ю. Лотман и других комментируется отношение к проблеме языкового значения. Подробно представлена информация о природе знаков, линейности, свободе, в том числе функциях, выполняемых языковыми знаками в когнитивно-коммуникативном процессе всех знаков, используемых людьми для обмена информацией и правилах их применения. Вывод, полученный в результате исследования, заключается в том, что символическая природа языка является одной из его основных и универсальных черт. Если мы рассмотрим вопрос с точки зрения связи языка и мышления, то увидим, что основная функция знака заключается в обеспечении и конкретизации мыслительных процессов, свойственных человеку. Когнитивная функция языковых знаков является основной функцией, отличающей их от знаков других семиотических систем. Таким образом, коммуникативная и обобщающая функции знаков взаимозависимы
The Influence of Oxytocin Massage and Nutmeg Aromatherapy on Relactation Success in the Public Health Center of Aceh Besar Regency Working Area, Indonesia
Get PDFThis study aimed to evaluate the effects of oxytocin massage and nutmeg aromatherapy on the success of relaxation among postpartum mothers in the Public Health Center of Aceh Besar Regency working area. The research employed a Quasi-Experimental design with a post-test Only Control Group Design. The study population consisted of non-exclusive breastfeeding mothers with infants under 12 months old. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample size of 34 respondents divided into two groups: the group interested in relaxation (Group A) and the group not interested in peace (Group B). The intervention involved providing oxytocin massage and nutmeg aromatherapy for three weeks. Data collected included pretest and post-test scores using the LATCH assessment instrument. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. The analysis results indicated significant differences between the pretest and post-test scores in both groups, both interested and not interested in relaxation (p < 0.05). This suggests that using oxytocin massage and nutmeg aromatherapy positively influences relaxation success. In the Mann-Whitney test, there was also a significant difference in the LATCH scores between the group interested and not interested in relaxation (p < 0.05). The group interested exhibited higher LATCH scores compared to the group not interested.In conclusion, oxytocin massage and nutmeg aromatherapy significantly improve relaxation success among postpartum mothers. These interventions can serve as effective alternatives in assisting mothers interested in continuing exclusive breastfeeding. However, further research with more robust designs and larger sample sizes is needed to reinforce these findings

Get PDFThe development of the current era of globalisation influences the development of students, such as behaviour patterns and tendencies that result in dependence on gadgets on social media and have an impact on relatively unstable emotional states, behaviour that tends to be passive, and relatively poor use of language in interactions. This research uses a type of evaluation research with a qualitative approach and uses a descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 15 students, one vice head of school, one counselling teacher, and one physical education teacher at MAN Model Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques using observation techniques (observation), interviews and documentation. This study obtained results. The influence of physical education can improve emotional abilities, social behaviour, and students' physical fitness. Physical fitness in students affects body muscle strength, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility in muscles and joints, so the impact involves the quality of student movement on students' speed, agility, coordination, power, balance and concentration. Physical education positively impacts students' emotional development on the ability to recognise and control students' emotions in establishing relationships with others, observe self and other people's emotions, and increase self-motivation, self-management, and good social behaviour. This social behaviour develops students in directed and measurable changes in student personalities. Changes that occur mainly in physical changes, a sense of empathy, student solidarity in working together and an active response to every activity carried out by students. Physical education regularly and adequately can increase student enthusiasm for learning, making academic and non-academic achievements maximum. So, the formation of sports values in social behaviour in good student personalities, such as sportsmanship, cooperation, responsibility, discipline, honesty, loyalty, and other virtues
The Concept of "Multi-knowledge" in the Digital Stage: an Epistemological Analysis
Get PDFIn the article, through the prism of the interdisciplinary methodological approach, the content of knowledge in digital culture conditions and the epistemological peculiarities of the formation of new knowledge are investigated. For this purpose, knowledge is viewed as the result of intellectual activity in the cognitive-social-cultural environment.The article shows that knowledge is transforming into "multi-knowledge" at the modern stage. It can be conceived as a processual gestalt with a multifractal character. Multifractality is used because the viewed object consists of a synthesis of different fractals (self-similarities). Therefore, this article considers knowledge a multifractal system (or network) of "fractal sub-knowledge". In that context, processual gestalt means that this multifractal system (or network) transforms from one phase to another, not fragmentarily, but entirely and whole. On this basis, the new multi-knowledge results from the creative transformation of the existing multi-knowledge as a multifractal unit due to the gestalt process.The following methodological principles are applied in the article: non-linearity, intersubjectivity, emergent interface, and multifractality. It is accepted that there is a close relationship between them.Applying synergistic synthesis and comparative analysis methods within the logical framework of this methodological approach allowed us to obtain concrete results

The author proposes a comprehensive approach to concept analysis, including examining the nominative field, semantic analysis, and intertextual relationships. Various techniques and elements such as embedded texts, temporal parallels, intertextuality, irony, and allegory are examined, which help reveal the concept's meaning and organisation in the novel. Additionally, the article emphasises the importance of cognitive-semantic analysis and the study of intertextual relationships in literary discourse. The research contributes to a better understanding of the conceptual worldview in the novel "Day of Execution" and its connection to linguistic means and structures. This article interests linguists, literary scholars, and anyone interested in cognitive analysis and academic discourse.Cтатья содержит концептуальный анализ в художественном дискурсе на примере романа «День казни» азербайджанского писателя Ю. Самедоглу. Автор предлагают комплексный подход к анализу концепта, включая номинативное поле, семантический анализ и интертекстуальные отношения. В статье рассматриваются различные приемы и элементы, такие как текст в тексте, временные параллели, интертекстуальность, ирония и аллегория, которые помогают раскрыть смысл и организацию концепта в романе. Кроме того, статья подчеркивает важность когнитивно-семантического анализа и изучения интертекстуальных отношений в художественном дискурсе. Value Relevance of Accounting Information: Empirical Evidence from Listed Conglomerate Firms in Nigeria

Although the government is trying to overcome the menace, there are still unresolved issues in the aspect of the challenges above, which affect value relevance and accounting information in ensuring the perpetual existence of companies in Nigeria. As such, the study examined the value relevance of accounting information of listed conglomerate companies in Nigeria. The study population comprises six companies: UAC Nigeria Plc, Chellarams Plc, SCOA Nigeria Plc, John Holt Plc, Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc, and Custodian Investment Plc. The data was extracted from their annual report and accounts. Descriptive statistics correlation regression was conducted in the study. The result shows that return on share price has a significant negative relationship with dividend per share. The study recommends that standards comply in reporting and disclosing all accounting information in the published financial statement to maintain value relevance and attract more investors
