Design and Construction of a Modified SMS-Based Electronic Notice Board
Get PDFThis research aims to design and construct an electronic notice as an alternative to the traditional signpost parting on walls and billboards by providing practical, reliable and proper information dissemination. They consist of the following units, the power supply, voltage regulators, GSM modules, microcontroller, LED dot matrix display board, counter and subscriber identity module (SIM). The power supply comprises a 240/9 v ac 50 Hz step-down transformer rectifier filter and voltage regulations. AT89852, a low-power, high-performance CM05 8-bit microcontroller with 8 k bytes in-system programmable flash memory, is used in this design. A constant five v de is required to power microcontrollers and their associated input/output channel. GSM Modern is a wireless device that works with a GSM wireless network. The counter circuit of the device used to achieve this type of counting is the 5-stage Johnson decade counter. It is a typical chip in the 74HC555, with ten decoded outputs that go high one at a time. The assembler used for this research is MLAB version 5.7, downloaded from the microchip website. This window-based integrated development environment (IDE) software supports the PIC and other microcontrollers. The project constitutes both the software and hardware section for successful implementation. Operation more focus was given to the contribution of the system hardware. For verification of proper functionality of the message board, variation tests carry out and their results. Each component was carefully tested, and hardware troubleshooting and software debugging were carried out. The message was sent, and it appeared and started moving from left to right.In conclusion, by introducing the concept of wireless technology in communication, we can make our communication more efficient and faster with excellent efficiency, and the message can be displayed with less error and maintenance. This model can be used efficiently in establishments like colleges where in-order and special discounts can be displayed simultaneously at all branches. It is therefore recommended as a conventional model can say more than one message at a time LEDS have a limitation on size and a good number of characteristics. The Effect of Broad Scope, Timeliness, Aggregation and Integration on Managerial Performance at "POS Indonesia" in Lombok, Indonesia
Get PDFThis study aims to analyse the effect of the characteristics of management accounting information systems in terms of broad scope, timeliness, aggregation, and integration aspects on managerial performance. The object used in this study is POS Indonesia in Lombok, with a total population of 145 employees. The sampling technique used purposive sampling; as many as 110 employees were selected as respondents based on the specified criteria. This study uses quantitative methods with primary data types. It can be concluded from the four characteristics of the management accounting information system only the timeliness aspect that positively influences managerial performance. In contrast, broad scope, aggregation, and integration aspects do not affect organisational performance

Представлены выводы о важности исследований и разработок в промышленности, а также роли научно-технического прогресса в ускорении экономического развития. Приведены примеры 1) успешной реализации исследовательских проектов в различных областях промышленности; 2) использования новых технологий и материалов в производстве; 3) успешной коммерциализации научных разработок; 4) успешного сотрудничества научных институтов и предприятий; 5) механизмов государственной поддержки и финансирования исследовательских проектов. Kinetic and Isotherm Studies of Methyl Violet Adsorption onto Carbonized Waterlily (Nymphaea lotus) Leaves Powder
Get PDFIn this study, the adsorption of methyl violet from an aqueous solution using carbonised water lily (CWL) leaves powder as a low-cost, efficient and eco-friendly adsorbent was investigated using a batch system under controlled conditions. The adsorbent's moisture, organic matter, ash, bulk density, pore volume, and pH were determined. The adsorbents were characterised by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) techniques which confirm the adsorption of the methyl violet onto the CWL adsorbents. The effect of adsorption parameters such as contact time, dosage, initial concentration, pH and temperature were studied for optimisation. It was confirmed that contact time, dosage, concentration, pH and temperature positively affected the adsorption process. The kinetic data were best described by pseudo-second order under all experimental temperatures. The adsorption isotherms were estimated and established to fit nicely into the D-R model compared to other models generated and tested. Thermodynamic studies of the sorption process indicate that the process was feasible, spontaneous, and exothermic and decrease in the randomness of the adsorption process during the transfer of molecules between the adsorbent and adsorbates with entropy (∆S) of 23.77 J/mol.K. due to negative values of Gibb’s free energy observed. This study confirmed that CWL could be employed as a low-cost, eco-friendly adsorbent for removing toxic dyes such as methyl violet from an aqueous solution

The war has resulted in the destruction and destruction of many agricultural enterprises, decreased production and sales, and increased risks for investors. On the other hand, expanding the financial space for agribusiness is critical to ensuring the stable development of the industry and increasing its competitiveness.The article aims to assess the current state and identify possible areas for expanding the financial space in the agribusiness sector. Research hypothesis: the conditions of war in Ukraine create difficulties for the development of agribusiness, but there are opportunities to expand the financial space of agribusiness through the use of the latest technologies, increase production efficiency and open new markets.The article studies the essence of financial resources of agricultural enterprises. The factors that influence the financial provision of farming enterprises are determined. The features of the formation of financial resources for agricultural enterprises of Ukraine are considered. The State programmes of financial support of agricultural enterprises are analysed. The main directions for further developing agribusiness’s economic space in Ukraine are proposed.The practical implementation of the research results will ensure the following positive changes in the economy of the agro-industrial complex: improving the efficiency of business entities; creating a favourable investment climate, increasing investment attractiveness and investment growth; intensifying structural changes in the agro-industrial complex; transforming the State support for agriculture in line with international trends and requirements; increasing the profitability of production and sales of agricultural products; improving the external.Агробізнес є одним з ключових секторів економіки України, проте війна створює складні умови для розвитку цієї галузі. Війна призвела до руйнування і знищення багатьох аграрних підприємств, зниження виробництва та збуту продукції, а також до збільшення ризиків для інвесторів. З іншого боку, розширення фінансового простору агробізнесу є ключовим для забезпечення стабільного розвитку галузі та підвищення її конкурентоспроможності.Мета статті – оцінка сучасного стану та виявлення можливих напрямів розширення фінансового простору у сфері агробізнесу. Гіпотеза дослідження: умови війни в Україні створюють складність для розвитку агробізнесу, але існують можливості розширення фінансового простору агробізнесу через використання новітніх технологій, підвищення ефективності виробництва та відкриття нових ринків збуту.У статті досліджено сутність фінансових ресурсів підприємств аграрної сфери. Установлено чинники впливу на фінансове забезпечення підприємств агропромислового комплексу. Розглянуто особливості формування фінансових ресурсів сільськогосподарських підприємств України. Проаналізовано державні програми фінансової підтримки підприємств агропромислового комплексу. Запропоновано основні напрямки подальшого розвитку фінансового простору агробізнесу в Україні.Практична реалізація результатів досліджень забезпечить наступні позитивні зміни в економіці агропромислового комплексу: підвищення ефективності діяльності суб'єктів господарювання; створення сприятливого інвестиційного клімату, підвищення інвестиційної привабливості та зростання інвестицій; активізацію структурних змін в АПК; трансформацію державної підтримки сільського господарства з урахуванням міжнародних тенденцій і вимог; зростання рентабельності виробництва і реалізації сільськогосподарської продукції; підвищення показників зовнішньоторговельної діяльності в сільському господарстві; забезпечення державних соціальних стандартів по обслуговуванню сільського населення і задоволення його зростаючих вимог до соціальної та інженерно-транспортної інфраструктури в сільській місцевості.
Notary's Responsibility in Certification of Electronic Signatures for Discrepancies in Verification of Personal Data of the Owner of the Electronic Signature: Comparative Study between Indonesia and the United States of America
Get PDFThis research aims to determine the legal consequences and responsibilities of notaries for deeds made based on inconsistencies in the verification of personal data of electronic signature owners according to Indonesian and United States law. The type of research used is normative legal research with a statutory, conceptual, and comparative approach. The research results show that notaries in Indonesia are public officials who are state organs equipped with general powers, authorised to carry out part of the state's power to make written and authentic evidence in civil law. At the same time, notaries in the United States are referred to as public notaries, with authority only limited to legalising or said as determining the certainty of the date and signature of the person who affixed it. The legal consequences and legal responsibility for deeds made by notaries that are not based on the suitability of verifying the personal data of the owner of the electronic signature according to Indonesian and United States law, that in Indonesian law, the liability of notaries in certifying electronic deeds refers to the provisions of notary responsibility in doing conventional deeds because the rules related to electronic signatures in Indonesia do not yet exist. Meanwhile, notaries in the United States are fully responsible for authenticated electronic signatures

During the Covid-19 pandemic, doctoral students in Indonesia experienced academic stress. The prevalence of academic stress during a pandemic among postgraduate students has increased. This academic stress can cause emotional disturbances affecting students' professional competence. Efforts to deal with academic stress are coping with stress, and this method is used to deal with the stress of postgraduate students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Students try to manage the distance between demands (both from individuals and requests from the environment) with students' resources in dealing with stressful situations. Coping stress has a significant role in one's health status. A healthy physical and mental state can help students fulfil pressing academic and non-academic demands, especially during a pandemic. The social support received can make students feel calm, cared for, and loved, as well as develop self-confidence and competence. Social support is a valuable resource for individuals who experience stress and is the primary way to improve their quality of life and maintain a healthy mind and body. Based on this description, coping with stress and social support can overcome academic anxiety. Рассматриваются различные виды ЛСП на примерах, такие как «Семья», «Транспорт» и «Работа». Подчеркивается, что ЛСП не только играют важную роль в лингвистике, но также находят широкое применение в областях, таких как машинный перевод, семантическая лингвистика, обучение языку, технологии обработки естественного языка и семантические поисковые системы. Новизна исследования проявляется в его способности предложить новые теоретические подходы к анализу лексико-семантических полей, а также в его актуальном применении в современных технологиях и лингвистических исследованиях. Исследование заключается в том, что ЛСП представляют собой универсальный и неотъемлемый элемент для понимания организации языка и развития современных языковых моделей.The study analyses lexico-semantic fields (LSF) in language, focusing on their structural and semantic characteristics. The author identifies LSPs as an indispensable tool for language analysis, emphasising their role in systematising and linking words based on semantic meaning. Special attention is paid to the central word and periphery in LSPs and semantic relations such as synonymy, antonymy, and hyperonymy/hyponymy. Different types of LSPs are examined with examples such as Family, Transport, and Work. It is emphasised that LSPs play an essential role in linguistics and find wide applications in fields such as machine translation, semantic linguistics, language learning, natural language processing technologies and semantic search engines. The study's novelty is evident in its ability to propose new theoretical approaches to analysing lexical-semantic fields and their relevant applications in modern technology and linguistic research.
