Standard Language in Norway and Azerbaijan
A standard or common literary language is a cultural and historical event. This language's oral and written form is based on the artistic needs of society and created as a result of particular necessities. The norms of the language are put forward through a standard language, and a neat, grammatically and phonologically "perfect" form of speech emerges. Moreover, a particular order is created, which is applied to local authorities, the press, and education, and they are expected to follow these language rules. Also, a standard literary language is essential for second language learners. Without a standard spoken literary language, foreigners meet difficulties in language learning. For instance, second language learners study a different form of Norwegian in the classroom. Still, they meet Norwegians who use a dialect daily, which can cause misunderstandings for foreigners. There is no official standard language in Norway. However, some linguists do not agree with this statement and associate standard language with prestige and high social status. On the contrary, Azerbaijan has an official common literary language in both spoken and written form.Norway and Azerbaijan's official languages have undergone a series of complicated historical development stages. Norway has two official written languages, bokmål and Nynorsk. Azerbaijan has one official written language, Azerbaijani. Even though Norway has no officially accepted standard spoken language, people sometimes follow standard speaking rules. However, people tend to use dialects or fail to use the standard form of language in Azerbaijan. Therefore, the analysis of the language society in these two countries is of interest
Biocompost Application Trichoderma spp. and NPK Fertilization on the Growth and Yield of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.)
Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) are plants that are needed as a kitchen spice. Production decreases along with decreasing planting area and land fertility levels, so a solution is required to increase land fertility using biocompost. They should also require large amounts of N, P and K for their growth and development. This research aims to determine the effect of Trichoderma spp. biocompost application and NPK fertilization on the growth and yield of shallot plants. The experiment used a completely randomized factorial design consisting of two factors, namely biocompost dosage (b), which consists of four levels: 1) without biocompost (b0), 2) 1.25 t/ha (b1), 3) 2.50 t/ha (b2), 4) 3.75 t/ha (b3), and the NPK dose factor (n) has four levels, namely: 1) 400 kg/ha (n1), 2) 300 kg/ha (n2), 3) 200 kg/ha (n3), 4).100 kg/ha (n4). The research results show the following. Application of Trichoderma spp. biocompost had a significant effect on the number of tillers at 6 WAP, number of tubers per hill, wet tuber weight, dry tuber weight, tissue P and K nutrient uptake values and had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and tissue N nutrient uptake values. Various doses of NPK fertilizer substantially affected the number of tillers at 6 WAP, number of tubers per hill, wet weight of tubers per hill, dry weight of tubers and tissue N, P and K nutrient uptake values. It had no significant effect on plant height and number of leaves. Secondly, there is an interaction effect of the two treatments on tissue N and P nutrient uptake values, with the highest N uptake value obtained in a combination of 2.50 t/ha (b2) of biocompost with a 300 kg/ha (n2) (b2n2) NPK fertilizer dose. In contrast, the highest P uptake value was obtained in a combination of 3.75 t/ha (b3) of biocompost with an NPK fertilizer dose of 200 kg/ha (n3). The best yield tendency was obtained in a combination of 2.5 tons/ha (b2) of biocompost with a 300 kg/ha (n2) NPK fertilizer dose (b2n2)
Exploring Islamic Spiritual Insights in the Media and Traditional Medicine Methods of the Sasak Community
The richness of Sasak culture seems to be endlessly studied and presented to the reading public in writings in various media, especially in the context of its contact with Islamic spiritual values. One is the media and methods for healing diseases of the traditional Sasak community, which is still ongoing today. This article analyses various media and methods the traditional Sasak community uses to deal with disease outbreaks. This research was carried out through field studies and data collection through interviews, observation, and literature study. The research results show that the media and treatment methods used are natural ingredients almost untouched by technology and mixed with spiritual power to touch the physical parts affected by a disease. Illnesses usually heal within an average time, including patients with mental disorders. The media and treatment methods implemented are dominated by spiritual power in the form of the beliefs of those who treat and those who are treated. Apart from that, treatment methods and media do not conflict with Islamic spiritual values, even though, outwardly, some view it as a contradictory practice
On Cognitive Onomastics
The emergence of cognitive linguistics is determined not only by the history of linguistics but also by the development of cognitive studies and the formation of cognitive science in a broader perspective. Since the 1960s, there has been a revolution in linguistics called cognitivism. The cognitive approach to studying various language units is critical in linguistics today. From this point of view, cognitive linguistics, cognitive semantics, cognitive grammar, cognitive lexicography, etc., differ individually. Emphasizing cognitive onomastics among the fields included in cognitive linguistics is relevant. Why should cognitive onomastics be emphasized? Traditional methods of studying proper names need to be more efficient. Their use does not allow us to answer the urgent questions of modern linguistics: how is information fixed, stored and transmitted in onyms? Defined direction results from consistently applying the fundamental principles of cognitive linguistics to onomastics. The article deals with reconstructing onomastic concepts and building a comprehensive conceptual network that motivates all conditional and potential uses of a proper name. The article also discusses the relation between cognitive linguistics and onomastics. Various scientific sources were used to write the article. We note that the modern trends of onomastics include the study of onomastic concepts and conceptual fields, the study of the cognitive aspect of nomination, the review of the conceptual derivation of proper names, the study of the creative potential of appropriate names and Internet onomastics
The Implementation of Cancellation of Land Title Certificates Due to Administrative Defects After the Enactment of Government Regulation No 18 of 2021: A Case Study of the Land Office in Malang Regency
The research examines the implementation of the cancellation of land certificates due to administrative defects by the National Land Agency (BPN) in Malang Regency following the enactment of Government Regulation No 18 of 2021. Researchers adopted a socio-legal approach with a juridical-anthropological perspective to investigate human behaviour within the cultural context, particularly in the legal realm. Researchers collected primary data through interviews with the Head of the Section for Control and Resolution of Disputes at the Land Office of Malang Regency. Secondary data, including legal regulations, documents, literature, and online sources, were obtained through a literature review. The study reveals that the annulment process is categorized into light, moderate, and severe cases based on complexity. Challenges include determining parties acting in bad faith, lacking technical guidance for evidence collection, and lacking a timeframe for dispute resolution, resulting in inefficiencies. The BPN of Malang Regency received minimal cancellation requests, reflecting low public awareness. Efforts to address these challenges involve classifying cases appropriately, recommending cancellations to the Regional Office, and enhancing public awareness through awareness campaigns. The study concludes that while the BPN follows prescribed procedures, improvements in defining good faith, establishing clear evidence collection guidelines, and implementing timeframes for dispute resolution are essential for more efficient and just handling of certificate cancellations
Validity of the Instrument for the Critical Analysis Ability of Prospective Biology Teacher
This research aims to evaluate the validity and reliability of an instrument designed to measure the critical analysis skills of prospective biology teacher students. Content validity was calculated using the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI), which involved five biology education experts. Of the nine items tested, seven were declared valid with a CVR value 1.0, while the other two were declared invalid. The empirical validity and reliability of the instrument were tested on 60 students using SPSS 23. The results of the empirical validity test showed that all items were valid with a Pearson Correlation value greater than r-table (0.254). The instrument's reliability was also good, with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.714. The research results show that this instrument is valid and reliable for measuring the critical analysis skills of prospective biology teacher students
Resolving of Inverse Problem Based on the One Component Linear Diffusion Model Implementation of Water Vapour Into Cellular Concrete Sample
This paper demonstrates the application of the inverse problem for calculating diffusion coefficient distribution into a porous cylindrical sample in a one-dimensional case. The work mainly aims to adapt a well-known diffusion equation with boundary conditions to obtain humidity profiles experimentally in porous samples. Empirical equations for diffusion coefficients according to humidity distribution are also reviewed. The main focus of this paper is concentrated on the proper interpretation of water vapour diffusion in coordinate and time dependencies. For this reason, the averaged quantities are introduced
Characteristics of French Idioms
The article's topic is devoted to studying the specific characteristics of idioms in the French language. Due to the constant and continuous development of the French language, the topic of idioms always arouses interest in linguistics and remains relevant. To communicate perfectly in the mother tongue, it needs to master the phraseological system of that language. An idiom is a non-free combination of words repeated in speech with a unified, generalised meaning, formed based on a model of connecting or subordinate phrases or sentences.Idioms are linguistic structures that serve to convey certain concepts. In the phraseology of the French language, many expressions reflect national-cultural characteristics. Many reflect ideas about the French people, their culture and way of life. The article deals with the specific features of idioms realised in French. Idioms are expressions of the French language that reflect the French way of life and socio-cultural conditions. Idioms live and develop together with the culture and worldview of the respective people. They contain certain concepts and cultural codes. Many idioms generally describe the national character of the French. Idioms are an essential part of any country's linguistic heritage and are considered a reflection of the mentality of the people. The French have a reputation for being arrogant and sensitive, which is reflected in some idioms
Framework for Achieving Effective Housing Ownership Among Teachers in Bauchi State, Nigeria
This paper aims to develop a framework for achieving effective Housing Ownership (HO) for Primary School Teachers (PST) in Bauchi Local Government, Nigeria. This paper adopted a quantitative research approach. Self-administered structured questionnaires collected information from 357 PST in Bauchi Local Government Area, Bauchi, Nigeria. A five-point Likert scale was employed to assess the responses more quickly. Partial least squares-structural equation modelling was used to analyse the data collected using SmartPLS 2 software. This study revealed that there should be a transparent process for qualifying for a housing loan by laying down less stringent processes that are easy to understand for low-income earners (LIEs). The HF institutions should also give room for more collateral options, such as a guarantee from the employer. It also revealed that there should be synergy between the finance institutions such as commercial banks, mortgage banks, private developers, and the LIEs from the inception of the finance design stage to accommodate the PST's requirements for housing ownership. The prime consumers of these research findings are the financial institutions. This will bulk up their performance and effectiveness toward housing finance accessibility and affordability to the LIEs, such as the PST in the study area. This research used the technology organisation environment theory, a multi-perspective theory, to evaluate the concepts of institutional, finance and beneficiaries' context concerning housing finance in Bauchi by conceptualising institutional context as effectiveness and performance, finance context as affordability and accessibility and beneficiaries' context as ownership
