AI-Powered Education: Exploring the Potential of Personalised Learning for Students' Needs in Indonesia Education
Artificial intelligence (AI) stands out as a relatively new yet rapidly expanding technological tool that is transforming the field of education. This paper examines the potential of Artificial Intelligence to assist students and teachers in personalised learning. The research methodology employed for this study is a literature review, providing an overview of the current knowledge on practical AI applications for personalised learning and insights into methodological developments in this research field. Based on the literature, the results of this research demonstrate that personalised learning effectively accommodates students' learning preferences and enhances academic performance. Therefore, it could significantly benefit students by accommodating their learning pace and style. In the Indonesian education system context, the integration of AI for personalised learning is already included in the Indonesia Artificial Intelligence National Plan framework. To support this plan, the authors employed a Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) to integrate AI into educational settings practically. However, a challenge in integrating AI into education for personalised learning is that course or class designers often pay insufficient attention to creating content that develops practical skills. This neglect of pedagogical and technical aspects has led students and teachers to perceive these systems as unresponsive to their learning preferences, fostering a sense of pessimism.
On the Syntactic-Semantic Features of the Word
The syntactic-semantic features of the word are discussed in the article. The analysis of scientific-theoretical sources on Azerbaijani and German linguistics is widely reflected in the article. The opinions of linguists are noteworthy in the stratification of the language's vocabulary from the social and dialectic point of view, in the semantic analysis, and in the study of the structural nuances of word meaning. Of course, the richer the vocabulary of a language, the easier it is to speak and write in that language. A language's vocabulary develops and changes more rapidly than its grammatical system. The word's origin and function in the text are mentioned here. The syntactic semantics of the word arise from the structure of each language, which is the analogy of events and objects. The semantic method is taken as the basis for word creation. The main essence of the semantic method is that new content is added to the words, and they acquire new meanings in the terminology of different fields. Such terms consist of words of our language as well as borrowings. Most often, they arise from common household words. Those words have a real, independent, and symbolic meaning. Each new word created must be filtered according to the rules of the language, and its use in a sociological environment must be considered. In the given examples, the function of the word in the sentence is explained. The semantic function of the word is described in detail in this article. It should be noted that there is a difference of opinion among researchers in the study of the syntactic-semantic features of the word. This can be attributed to the difference in the criteria used in the study of the syntactic-semantic features of the word. In the article, the valuable theoretical ideas of scholars further clarify the analysis of word creation
Antifertility Efficacy of n-Hexane Seed Extract of Ricinus communis Var Minor in Wistar Rats Uterus In Vitro
The seed of Ricinus communis var minor (RICOM 1013-J) is a popular contraceptive among the tribal women in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. Several reports have confirmed the efficacy and safety of different fractions of RICOM 1013-J, particularly the n-Hexane fraction. RICOM 1013-J appears to possess a unique contraceptive effect. This study aimed to provide further insight into the impact of RICOM 1013-J on the reproductive organs compared with the activity profile of some uterotonic drugs. A total of 20 adult albino rats (15 females and five males) weighing 150-200 g were initially divided into five groups of 3 female rats each with treatments via the oral route as follows: Groups A (2ml olive oil), others n-Hexane extract of Ricinus communis seeds (RICOM 1013-J) B (5 mg/kg), C (10 mg/kg), D (20 mg/kg) and E (30 mg/kg). After three days, the five male rats were introduced into each group (ratio of 3 females to 1 male per cage) till the end of experiments for mating. The effect of the pretreatment with the n-hexane extract of RICOM 1013-J on the rat uterus was evaluated after days 10, 30, 60 and 90. RICOM 1013-J (20 mg/kg and 30 mg/kg) demonstrated potent anti-conceptive effects, protecting female Wister albino rats against pregnancy for over five gestational periods. RICOM 1013-J statistically altered the regular basal activity of the uterus in a time-dependent manner (10, 30, 60 and 90 days pretreatment). Furthermore, pretreatment with RICOM 1013-J decreased the reactivity of the uterus to some uterotonic drugs, including oxytocin (2x10-3 iu/ml), ergometrine (1x10-3 mg/ml), misoprostol (2x10-3 mg/ml), Ach (1x10-5 gm/ml) and potassium chloride (1x10-3 gm/ml). The contraction to misoprostol and potassium chloride in the uterus was abolished on day 90 of pretreatment. This study has demonstrated the dose-dependent efficacy of RICOM 1013-J in protecting against pregnancy for over five gestation periods in rats. This protective effect may be due to the alterations in the activity profile of smooth muscle quiescence and inertia in the uterus. In addition, the changes in the responsiveness of the uterus to the uterotonic drugs further confirm the anti-conceptive effects of RICOM 1013-J
Translation Problems of Non-Equivalent Vocabulary
In every language, lexical units cannot be directly translated into other languages. These linguistic components, often called non-equivalent vocabulary or realia, are deeply rooted in a language's cultural and national background. The absence of direct equivalents for these terms in other languages necessitates using various translation methods. Non-equivalent vocabulary and realia are terms used interchangeably, and both denote language elements that lack a literal translation and are closely intertwined with culture.Non-equivalent lexical units encompass names of items, concepts, and abstract entities representing specific national characteristics and everyday life. Their translation into other languages poses a significant challenge. While in-depth research on this issue is currently lacking, it is widely acknowledged that English is frequently employed as a means of communication in the global arena, often serving as the target language to communicate in economic, political-cultural, and other fields. This generates substantial difficulties in translating from other languages into English. Consequently, gaining insight into national colour words and realia, which complicate the translation process, is paramount. This article explores the linguistic and cultural aspects of non-equivalent vocabulary. Descriptive and comparative methods were applied in writing this article, utilising literature sources in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English

Criminal Sanctions Against Environmental Pollution and Damage Offenders in the Perspective of Restorative Justice
The importance of applying the concept of Restorative Justice in law enforcement, especially in cases of environmental pollution and destruction. Restorative Justice is an approach that focuses on the recovery of victims, perpetrators, and communities affected by criminal acts, with the aim of achieving more holistic balance and justice. This study aims to analyze the judges' views regarding the application of Restorative Justice in Decision Number 98/Pid.B/2014/PN.TOB and Number 428/Pid.B/LH/2023/PN.Rhl, as well as identify the legal consequences of these decisions in the perspective of Restorative Justice. The research method used is normative juridical research, which examines the substance of legal rules through statutory and conceptual approaches. The data used consisted of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials, which were collected through literature study and analysis of related documents. The results showed that the judges' views in both decisions reflect the application of Restorative Justice principles that focus on recovery and rehabilitation. Despite differences in approach, in general the judges sought not only to punish the perpetrators, but also to repair the damage caused, support the recovery of victims, and maintain social harmony. Further discussion shows that the application of Restorative Justice in these decisions has a significant impact in directing the criminal justice system towards a more humane and rehabilitative direction
