    Get PDF
Economic security is a critical component of the national security of any country, as it directly affects the stability and development of the state. Despite surviving difficult economic trials, Ukraine faces challenges such as corruption, an unstable political environment, and external threats. To ensure sustainable economic growth, it is essential to strengthen the legal framework, improve the legal culture and ensure the transparency of the financial environment. Given this, the article aims to study the economic and theoretical-legal foundations and features of ensuring the economic security of Ukraine. It is noted that the essential legal documents regulating the economic security of Ukraine are the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law "On National Security of Ukraine", and the Strategy for Economic Security of Ukraine until 2025. These documents define the principles of state policy in ensuring economic security and establish mechanisms for protecting the economic interests of the state and citizens. It was established that the main structural components of economic security in the national security system of Ukraine are production, demographic, energy, foreign economic, investment and innovation, macroeconomic, food, social, and financial security. The definition of the essence of economic security, its components, subjects of support, indicators and threats should be contained in the Law of Ukraine “On National Security of Ukraine”, as well as other laws of Ukraine that concern the provision of economic security of the state. It is also concluded that the sustainability and stability of the economic system, economic independence, self-reproduction, and national interests are critical aspects of ensuring economic security.Economic security is a critical component of the national security of any country, as it directly affects the stability and development of the state. Nigeria is one of the fastest developing countries in sub-Saharan Africa and hence, there is an urgent need to invest in agriculture to boost food production to meet the citizen's nutritional need and for export. Due to increasing population, urbanization and industrialization in Nigeria especially in the South East with small land mass, intercropping is highly recommended. A two-year field experiment was carried in 2018 and 2019 cropping seasons to assess the effect of application of different rates of N:P:K fertilizer on the growth and yield components of upland rice in rice-soybean intercropping system. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The treatment includes rice–soybean with five levels of N:P:K 15 :15 :15 (0kg, 100kg, 200kg, 300kg, and 400kg) fertilizer rates as well as rice sole and soybean sole .The result showed that the Interaction of upland rice and soybean with N:P:K fertilizer significantly affected the plant height, number of leaves, leaf area index, number of panicles per plant and number of seeds per plant of rice. Based on the result of this investigation, it was observed that cropping system and increased fertilizer rates positively affected the growth and yield component of upland rice. It was noted that among the N:P:K fertilizer rate (400 kg) gave the highest growth and yield component of upland rice in rice/soybean intercropping system.

Since Namibia's independence, religious diversity in Windhoek has increased, and the city faces the challenge of a rapidly growing number of places of worship, which raises concerns amongst the government authorities and residents. This article aims to determine the number of churches in Windhoek and their spatial distribution pattern within the city boundaries in twenty-seven suburbs and excluded peripheral areas. It is guided by the religious neoliberal theory, in which God and religion are commodified and commercialized. The spatial aspect of the places of worship is explained based on the Hoyt sector theory and the Multi-nuclei model. These theories describe urban land uses and how these land uses develop from the city centre in a pattern of circles. Data from four databases was converted into quantitative data and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The above is done by highlighting the number of existing houses of worship and clarifying why there is such a number in an area. The study results revealed 300 religious groups or organizations associated with worship gatherings and 249 places of worship in the study area. Therefore, the study concluded that the 249 worship houses spatially signify the religious diversity of Windhoek's population. It cannot be stated that the site has many worship houses because the existing ones are essential as they represent the religious diversity in the locality. The results are critical in that they will bring clarity to the stakeholders who grapple with the issue of places of worship in Windhoek

Legal Implications of the Use of Digitalization of Online Land Registration

    Get PDF
Public perception of land services is still unsatisfactory. In such conditions, changing the land administration system to electronic is necessary. The digitalization of the land registration process can run well and adequately, so clear and consistent rules are needed formally and materially. On the other hand, government agencies apply legal rules consistently to submit and obey the laws they make. That certainty of land rights, subject of rights, and objects of rights can be guaranteed. The type of research used is empirical, using statutory, conceptual, and legal sociological approaches. The analysis used is qualitative. Based on the research results, it is known that something that arises with digitized land registration will have a positive trend in the process. After all, it will significantly impact the community because it is time-efficient and transparent and can be done independently without brokers. The community's obligation to visit the land office will reduce archival data. People don't need to be afraid of it being lost, burned or flooded because it has been stored through an adequate system with an organized security system

Nutrients are critical components in farming because the level of availability of nutrients for plants greatly determines growth and the quantity and quality of crop production. This study aims to determine the planting medium's nutrient content and foliar fertiliser concentration on rice and maise plants' growth and nutrient uptake. This research will be carried out in the greenhouse of the University of Mataram and lasts for 45 days (vegetative growth) from August to September 2021. The experimental design used was a Completely Randomised Design (CRD), with the first treatment being the provision of essential nutrients through a planting medium with two levels, namely (50 and 100% of optimal needs. These percentages represent the conditions of growing media that are nutrient-deficient/sub-optimal (50%) and optimal (100%). The second treatment is the concentration of fertiliser applied through the leaves, namely 1, 2, and 3%. The dose (amount of nutrients per pot) given through new leaves can be calculated after the experiment, such as the total fertiliser through the leaves the plant receives. The two factors mentioned above are arranged factorial. Each of these treatments was repeated three times so that each experimental set/type of plant consisted of 2 x 3 x 3 = 18 experimental pots. The results showed that increasing the concentration of nutrients in the planting medium (from 50% to 100% standard nutrient solution) decreased growth. (biomass) of rice and corn plants due to poisoning. There is an interaction effect of the two factors, which is significant on the biomass of rice and corn plants, and this effect is antagonistic. The nutrient content of the planting medium, the concentration of the sprayed foliar fertilisers, and their interactions significantly affected rice plant height but did not considerably impact corn plant height. The higher concentration of nutrients in the planting medium and foliar fertiliser increases the total absorption of all essential nutrients. However, the amount of nutrients absorbed through the leaves and stems of plants is relatively small compared to the total nutrient uptake (needs) of plants

    Get PDF
Language facilitates communication and helps one to comprehend the culture of the people who speak it. Language and culture interactions are studied with the help of linguoculturology. As a branch of humanitarian science, linguoculturology examines the role of language in the formation of culture and the role of culture in the formation of language. At the heart of linguoculturology are concepts, the fundamental building blocks connecting national thought with a universal conceptual system. These concepts, reflections of the language's worldview, are instrumental in studying people's outlook. Each country's unique ideas, embedded in its language, offer a glimpse into its distinct cultural characteristics. As linguistic phenomena, concepts manifest in stable word combinations and phraseology, shaping our understanding of language and culture.Language units such as fixed word combinations, idioms, and proverbs are understood based on concepts. Idioms are formed due to the concerted activity of different tribes and generations and become an integral part of the national culture. To understand the content of the value concepts "good" and "bad" verbalized in idioms in English, it is essential to study the culture of those speakers. The study of idioms with the concepts of "good" and "bad" in English expresses the moral values of English culture. Idioms in English confirm the national authenticity of the mentality of the people at the linguistic level

    Get PDF
Students must learn to write to succeed in school, work, and personal life. This essential skill does not develop naturally and requires sufficient practice and instruction. One of the core goals of education is to teach students to use writing effectively and adaptively. However, many schools worldwide fail to meet this goal, leaving many students without the writing skills necessary for success in today's society. A major contributing factor is the lack of appropriate writing instruction for students. This chapter explores the development of students' writing skills, mainly focusing on grammatical units, through peer and teacher correction strategies. It also identifies key barriers to effective writing instruction, such as limited instructional time, insufficient teacher preparation, and the influence of national, state, district, and school policies, along with historical, social, cultural, and political factors. The chapter offers insights into addressing these obstacles and transforming classroom writing practices globally. By increasing the knowledge of relevant stakeholders about writing, it aims to foster a vision for improving writing instruction at the policy, school, and classroom levels through peer and teacher correction strategies. Specific recommendations help school administrators, teachers, and students realise these changes
