Modelling of High-Frequency Capacitance-Voltage Characteristics of MOS Structures
This research explores the parameters and characteristics of Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (MOS) structures. By employing equation systems that describe the processes at the metal-oxide-semiconductor interface, the capacitance-voltage (C-V) characteristics for RF probing signals were modelled. The study examined the dependence of volume charge density and specific capacitance on surface potential and gate-substrate voltage for p-type and n-type structures. The calibration technology of the measurement setup was detailed, and enhancements to the calibration process were proposed. Sample preparation techniques for measurement were described, with the gate area measured at 1 mm². The technological stages of scribing and soldering microwires to the MOS structure were completed.C-V characteristics for p-type and n-type MOS structure samples were obtained, and the dopant concentration and flat-band voltage were measured. A comparison between experimental and theoretical C-V characteristics revealed that a non-zero flat-band voltage causes both a shift and an extension of the C-V characteristic along the voltage axis. The total charge at the interface and within the dielectric was also quantified
Identification of Sports Talent and Socioeconomic Status of Higher Class Students of State Primary School 1 Kuala Batee, Indonesia
Identifying sports talent is a search for outstanding athlete seeds that can be done early. Talent is innate and needs to be known early so that the direction of distribution is right on target. The socioeconomic status of parents provides greater opportunities for obtaining the needs of the child's growth and development process so that children have the potential to develop optimally. Socioeconomic status describes a person's level, social status, standard of living, or condition seen from an economic perspective. This study aims to identify parents' talents and socioeconomic status in high-class students of State Elementary School 1 Kuala Batee, Southwest Aceh Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research population is 60 students of the high class of State Elementary School 1 Kuala Batee, and the sampling technique used is total sampling, or the entire population is sampled. Data collection was carried out using a talent identification test using a sports talent calculator consisting of measurements of height, weight, sitting height, arm span, tennis ball throw, basketball throw, agility run, upright jump, 40-meter run, and multi-stage run (MFT).Furthermore, data on parents' socioeconomic status was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires/questionnaires regarding the socioeconomic condition of parents. The study results were obtained: 28 students, or 47%, did not have sports talent, and 32 students or 53%, had sports talent in athletics, pétanque and weightlifting. The talent in the most dominant athletic branch is as many as 20 students or 62.5%, while in second place, namely the pétanque sports branch, as many as 10 students or 31.3%, weightlifting is in third place with two students or 6.2%. Parents' education, for both fathers and mothers, is on average the same as high school graduation, so it impacts work; namely, the average father is a farmer, and the mother does not work or is a housewife. Likewise, related to the average income/income ranging from 500-1,500 rupiah per month without additional income and directly related to property ownership, it can be concluded that the socioeconomic status of the student's parents is very low
Environmental Awareness Creation Under Kenya's Environmental Diplomacy Pillar: An Objective With Potential For Mitigating Air Pollution
This study aimed to assess the environmental awareness creation objective of Kenya's environmental diplomacy pillar, which aims to encourage public dialogue, awareness, and knowledge creation on environmental matters through national, regional, and international forums to reverse and halt environmental degradation. It focused on four areas encompassing the extent of environmental awareness creation, the institutions involved and the approaches adopted, the impact of participation in multilateral forums on the level of environmental awareness and consideration given to air pollution issues in development planning. The study adopted an exploratory research design targeting 130 key informants from institutions concerned with environmental issues and diplomacy in Kenya. Through descriptive statistics and conceptual content analysis of the data collected, this study found that despite the growing global attention to environmental degradation, there still existed gaps in meaningful environmental awareness creation in Kenya, with little success achieved and few visible outcomes. The study also established inconsistencies between Kenya's regional and international leadership in environmental matters and the actual status of air pollution in the country. It thus recommended that the Government of Kenya take proactive and context-based actions to enhance the public's care of the environment, develop and implement a robust environmental awareness creation framework to link actions at the various levels and introduce practical and specific metrics to ensure that actions taken result in measurable change in environmental behaviour. Kenya should also utilise its environmental leadership role to bolster environmental awareness
The History of the Goycha Region and the Lexical Structure of the Regıon's Dialects
The Azerbaijani language, one of the richest languages in the world, holds a unique place among Turkic languages. Azerbaijani belongs to the Oghuz group of Turkic languages, including Turkish, Gagauz, and Turkmen. However, Turkish is the closest language to ours in terms of both literary and everyday vocabulary. The research aims to deepen our understanding of the Goycha region's linguistic landscape and contribute to preserving and documenting the region's unique linguistic and cultural legacy within the broader context of Azerbaijani language and identity. There are numerous similarities between Turkish and the dialects of Western Azerbaijan, including the Goycha region, the ancient homeland of Azerbaijanis (Oghuz Turks). These similarities are evident in the Azerbaijani literary and dialectal languages. Azerbaijani language has a wide range of expressions and deep nuances of meaning, allowing it to convey human emotions and thoughts easily. The words used in the Azerbaijani language, literary or dialectal, have historical roots. The innovative aspects of this research lie in its integrative approach, original insights into the Goycha region's dialects, and contributions to the preservation and documentation of the historical and cultural legacy of Western Azerbaijan within the broader context of Azerbaijani language and identity
Bile Salt Hydrolase Activity of Cholesterol-Lowering Probiotic Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Indigenous Fermented Foods
The main risk factor for cardiovascular diseases is hypercholesterolaemia (elevated blood cholesterol levels). Many cholesterol-lowering drugs exist, but not without adverse side effects. Consequently, a natural dietary approach with little or no side effects is needed. This study aimed to isolate, characterise and identify probiotic lactic acid bacteria with cholesterol-lowering abilities in vitro and their bile salt hydrolase activity. Fifty-two isolates of lactic acid bacteria were isolated from indigenous fermented food products (ugba, ogi, ogiri, raw cow milk and yoghurt), of which 22 isolates were considered presumptive LAB after Gram staining and biochemical tests. The antimicrobial activity of the isolates was evaluated, and out of 22 LAB isolates, only six showed broad-spectrum antagonistic effects on test bacteria pathogens and good bile and acid tolerance. The six isolates had in vitro cholesterol assimilation between 19.34% and 53.60% and bile salt hydrolase activity between 2.52±0.21 and 6.67±0.21 activity/ml/min. The two most promising LAB isolates were selected based on cholesterol assimilation over 40.0% and bile salt hydrolase activity above 6.00 ml/min. The isolates were identified using API 50 CHL kits and medium and 16S rRNA gene sequencing. After genotypic identification, the two promising LAB isolates were identified as Pediococcus acidilactici MTA463550.1 and Pediococcus acidilactici MN994318.1. These data demonstrated the bile salt hydrolase activity and cholesterol-lowering effects of Pediococcus acidilactici MTA463550.1 and Pediococcus acidilactici MN994318.1. They can, therefore, be used as probiotic supplements in foods to help reduce the risks of cardiovascular diseases and improve heart health
Liability for the Destruction of Collateral Object of Fiduciary Guaran-tee in Uninsured Murabahah Bil Wakalah Financing
Murabahah bil wakalah financing allows customers to obtain insurance coverage for their obligations against all goods used as collateral for financing by transferring the risk of collateral through insurance mechanisms. The insurance is provided by an insurance company designated by the Bank, which appoints and establishes the Bank as the party entitled to receive payment of the insurance claim (BANKER'S CLAUSE BANK). This is certainly very risky for Islamic banks, as there is a possibility that financing recipients may not insure the financing object. Research using a legal regulation approach and a conceptual approach yields a conclusion: Dispute resolution, if the financing recipient defaults on the Murabahah bil waka lah financing and the uninsured fiduciary collateral object is destroyed, is pursued through a lawsuit in the District Court based on breach of contract. However, in Islamic financing, the resolution of problematic financing is based on the Fatwa DSN 47/DSN-MUI/II/2005 on the Resolution of Murabahah Receivables for Customers Unable to Pay. The destruction of the financed object burdened with insurance, where the financing recipient acts as the insured party, makes the Bank the financing provider liable. If the funded object is destroyed and the insurance claim does not cover the remaining payment, the financing recipient is still obligated to continue the insurance as the shortfall in payment persists
