No full textThis collection comprises images, reports, sit records, spreadsheets, GIS, Harris Matrices, and photogrammetry 3D models from archaeological recording carried out by Connect Archaeology at Greatworth Park and Fields, Northamptonshire, 2021-2023 between 7th May 2021 and 29th April 2022. The Archaeological Recording encompassed five parcels of land designated as C30040, C30041, C30042 and C30043 and C30071 at Greatworth Park and Fields, Northamptonshire, measuring 4.9ha in total. The aim of the archaeological investigation was to identify the extent and character of any surviving archaeological remains within the site. The outcomes of the archaeological recording define the character, extent, quality, preservation and significance of the archaeology present in order to determine its potential to contribute to specific objectives set out in the GWSI: HERDS (HS2-HS2-EV-STR-000-000015)

No full textThis collection comprises images from Historic Building Recording at Old Steadings, Merryshield Farm, Stocksfield, Northumberland. Work was carried out by Pre-Construct Archaeology Limited in June 2024. The historic building recording of the farm building was completed in advance of conversion into a single dwelling. The available cartographic evidence suggests that the farm buildings at Merryshield Common were built in the mid 19th century, between 1842 and 1865, as a purpose-built, planned farm built from local stone rubble and adopting a courtyard plan. This included open, guttered, stockyards, open fronted cowhouses with granary, straw house, farmhands cottage and a threshing barn. The latter originally including threshing apparatus driven by an external open-sided gin gang. The building at the time of survey was redundant and parts, particularly the former cottage, had suffered collapse

No full textThis collection consists of images and a report from a Level 3 Historic Building Survey by Heneb: Clwyd-Powys Archaeology. Work occurred at The Old Bone Mill, Maesbury Marsh, Oswestry, Shropshire in November 2024. The building had undergone several changes of use since its original construction during the mid-19th century. The main building had originally had an upper floor, though most of the structure for this had been removed. The ancillary units of the mill complex comprised a smithy and two lean-to structures
