Digital Archive from an Archaeological Watching Brief and Strip Map And Sample at Bateman Farm, Wormhill, Derbyshire, May 2024
This collection consists of site images, a report, and a CAD vector drawing from an archaeological watching brief, and strip, map, and sample excavation at Bateman Farm, Wormhill, Derbyshire. Works were conducted by Archaeological Research Services Ltd. in May 2024. Throughout the course of the scalable watching brief/strip map and sample works, no archaeological finds, deposits, or features were identified. The absence of archaeological features within the watching brief/strip map and sample area does not necessarily indicate the absence of remains within the vicinity. Rather, it suggests that the depth and extent of the groundworks were not sufficient to impact the archaeological remains present
