Images and Report from Archaeological Survey and Recording in the Intertidal Zone adjacent to Black Shed, The Batts, Whitby, North Yorkshire, February 2024
This collection comprises images and a report from an Archaeological Survey and Recording in the intertidal zone adjacent to Black Shed, The Batts, Whitby, North Yorkshire. The work was carried out by Green Man Archaeology in February 2024. Green Man Archaeology were commissioned to undertake archaeological survey and recording in the intertidal zone adjacent to Black Shed, The Batts, Whitby, North Yorkshire. Two partial wrecked boats and the slipway emerging from the Black Shed itself were recorded equivalent to a Level 1-2 standing building recording (SBR). Black Shed I is probably the remains of a small motor yacht or part of the bow of a 10-12m boat, such as a small (10m) open boat seine netter or a (12m) Scarborough/Yorkshire yawl. Black Shed II bears some resemblance to the stern of a smack. The development area was mudlarked for finds (fieldwalking in the tidal zone) but on assessment the entire assemblage was discarded as insignificant
Digital Archive from Historic Building Recording Work at Coltran Mill, Doncaster, 2024
This collection comprises image, text and GIS data from Analytical Buildings Recording Work (Level 3) and Descriptive Buildings Record (Level 2) at Coltran Mill, Doncaster. The work was undertaken by Wessex Archaeology August to November 2024. Coltran Mill was a former engineering works and a non-designated heritage asset which was initially constructed in the 1860s. The historical and architectural significance of Coltran Mill lies in its representation of 19th and early 20th-century industrial architecture and its role in the broader context of canal-side industrial development in Mexborough. The building's retention of original features, including its external brickwork, roof structures, and internal machinery, underscores its importance in understanding the industrial heritage of the area

Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Horton Road, Devizes, 2022
This collection comprises text, image, spreadsheet and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at Horton Road, Devizes. The work was undertaken by Wessex Archaeology between March and April 2022. The evaluation consisted of ten trial trenches and six of the ten excavated trial trenches contained archaeological features and deposits, indicating archaeological remains are present across the site. The eight uncovered features consisted of ditches and a gully and all were undated, although iron artefacts in trench 2 suggest a modern date for those features

Digital Archive from Archaeological Excavations at Kourion's Amathous Gate Cemetery, Cyprus, 1995 to 2000
This collection comprises images, Harris matrices, spreadsheet data, and GIS data from a series of excavations at Kourion's Amathous Gate Cemetery. The excavations were carried out between 1995 and 2000 by the Kourion Amathous Gate Cemetery Group, with the post-excavation and publication of the works occurring between 2017 and 2024. The Early Roman chamber tombs show evidence for commemoration through processions and libations. Following the earthquake of the 370s A.D., they were quarried out, leaving only their rear arcosolia exposed in neatly chiselled vertical facets of rock and new level surfaces for the individual cist tombs of the late fourth-sixth centuries. A well-preserved though largely commingled set of human remains represents at least 73 adults and 62 subadults buried in these tombs
Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey at Gosden Hill Farm, Guildford, Surrey, November 2024 - January 2025
This collection comprises geophysics data and GIS files from an archaeological geophysical survey carried out by MOLA Northampton at Gosden Hill Farm, Guildford, Surrey, between 21st November 2024 and 16th January 2025 ahead of a proposed development. The survey identified several weak magnetic anomalies that may represent traces of undated enclosure and boundary ditches north of the farm. Additional anomalies suggest a few isolated ditches and a small square feature of uncertain function. Non-archaeological anomalies were also recorded, most notably those associated with the footings of a former double row of electricity pylons
Digital Archive from a Magnetometry Survey at Kemble Solar Farm, Kemble, Gloucestershire, April to May 2024
This collection consists of a vector graphic, GIS and geophysics data from a detailed magnetometry survey by Archaeological Surveys Ltd. Work was carried out from April to May 2024 along 4.2km within ten separate areas along the amended cable route of a proposed grid connection between Kemble Solar Farm in the south west and Cirencester to the north east. The results indicate the presence of anomalies with archaeological potential within three of the survey areas, with several other areas containing possible ditch-like and pit-like anomalies
