    No full text
This collection consists of images, CAD vector drawings, and site records from historic building recording works at Broadmeadow Hall Farm, Deep Lane, Sheen, Staffordshire. Works were conducted by Mel Morris Conservation in December 2022. This Level 3 Building Recording was undertaken in order to inform a 'Farming in Protected Landscapes' grant application, as required by the Peak District National Park Authority. Broadmeadow Hall was an important manor house of the 17th century but for a long period during the 18th century it was tenanted, and during the early 20th century it also fell out of use. The works were carried out by Archaeology England Ltd between February and July 2022. The building survey examined 1 and 3 Brackley Lane Cottages at the western edge of the site, as well as structures associated with Bullough Farm to the south-east. The results indicate that 3 and 1 Brackley Lane were built sometime between 1848 and 1884, and the interior of the cottages has been heavily altered through time. The Golf Club and Barn still retains many elements traditionally associated with agricultural buildings, while the Social Club has been heavily altered over time.
