Data from a Trial Trench Evaluation at Mill House Farm, Stoke Mandeville South Embankment, Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire, 2018-2022 (HS2 Phase One)
This collection comprises images, text documents, site records, and spreadsheets generated by LP Archaeology during trial trench evaluation at Mill House Farm, Stoke Mandeville South Embankment, Buckinghamshire, undertaken between 2018 and 2022. Archaeology was revealed in 21 trenches, the majority producing artefactual assemblages. Pottery recovered ranged from the prehistoric through to the post-medieval period, with a strong emphasis on the medieval phase. Overall, the remains represent a continuation of Iron Age, Romano-British, medieval, and post-medieval activity already known in the surrounding landscape

This collection comprises image, text and CAD data from an archaeological watching brief undertaken at St. Luke's Church, Heywood by Archaeological Research Services Ltd in April 2024. The watching brief took place during investigation works within the churchyard on the northern side of the church to identify the route of an existing drain and to assess the depth of the church foundation. Three fragments of human bone were recovered during the work. No other archaeological remains were encountered, apart from the drain itself which was a late 19th-early 20th century salt glazed sewer pipe

This collection consists of images, reports, a vector graphic, GIS and site record data from an archaeological evaluation by Wessex Archaeology. Work occurred on a 9.9 hectare parcel of land situated west of the A43 and south-east of the village of Moulton, Northamptonshire from April to May 2021.The archaeological remains comprised pits, ditches, a posthole, the remains of a limestone quarry and a potential cremation grave. The distribution of the remains suggests a focus of archaeological activity in the central part of the site. All archaeological remains were undated and provided no artefacts or deposits suitable for environmental sampling

The evaluation was carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust in July 2020 prior to the construction of a new dwelling. Excavations revealed the remains of a 19th-century building depicted on early editions of the Ordnance Survey map, which stood here until it was demolished at some point after 1960
