Work occurred at Land off Hickling Lane, Swainsthorpe, Norfolk, from October and to November 2023. Of forty one, fifteen trenches were found to contain archaeological remains of Early Bronze Age and late medieval to post-medieval date, with some remains of modern activity also evident

Work was carried out by MOLA Northampton between June 2020 and April 2022 and forms part of Phase One of the High Speed 2 (HS2) rail project.     This collection comprises reports, site photographs, a CAD site drawing, spreadsheet data and site records from archaeological investigations at Guildford Fire Station, Surrey. Work was carried out by Oxford Archaeology between February and October 2013. A programme of Historic Building Recording was undertaken, recording the principal fire station building, a 'smokehouse' and a multi-storey training tower. The excavation revealed a substantial scatter of worked flint assigned to either the Cresswellian or Federmesser industries of the Lateglacial period. The assemblage was found in an exceptional state of preservation and is likely to represent the in situ remains of a Later upper Paleolithic campsite

    This collection consists of site images, spreadsheets, and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at Bedford Road, Brogborough, Bedfordshire. The works were conducted by Cotswold Archaeology in July 2023. The results confirmed those of the preceding geophysical survey: a north-east/south-west aligned ridge and furrow field system was encountered in the southern part of the site. Based on the results of the evaluation and preceding geophysical survey, it is likely that the site has historically been located within the agricultural hinterland of any nearby settlements, away from any domestic or industrial areas of activity

    This collection consists of images, spreadsheets, databases and GIS data from an archaeological excavation by Cotswold Archaeology. Work occurred on land within the Rugby Sustainable Urban Extension (SUE) Key Phase 1 development area, Rugby, Warwickshire, between 2015 and 2019.The earliest features in the development site comprised a Middle Bronze Age well and a small pit of the same date. From the Iron Age a pit alignment, several intercutting ditches and additional discrete pits were discoved. Roman features were identified in most of the excavation areas. The finds assemblage was dominated by Roman material. Small quantities of late prehistoric, Anglo-Saxon and post-medieval pottery was also present, as well as an assemblage of waterlogged wood from the Middle Bronze Age well. The early prehistoric period was represented by a small assemblage of undiagnostic worked flint

    This collection consists of a single document: an appendix featuring petrographical identifications of stone anchors by George Mascle, and a catalogue of stone anchors by Honor Frost. The document relates to bronze age anchors from a campaign of excavations of Ugarit-Ras Shamra, Syria, which originally commenced in 1963. The rest of the article has been republished in the Honor Frost Foundation's legacy volume, Honor Frost: Selected Works (Leiden: Sidestone Press, 2025)
