Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation and Strip, Map, and Record Excavation at Brassington Lane, Old Tupton, Derbyshire, 2017
This collection consists of site images and CAD vector drawings from an archaeological evaluation and strip, map, and record excavation at Brassington Lane, Old Tupton, Derbyshire. Works were conducted by Archaeological Research Services Ltd between February and March 2017. Evaluation trenching identified the preserved remains of settlement and field enclosures within the northern half of the site. The strip, map and record excavation uncovered further evidence of archaeological remains attesting to the medieval occupation of the site, spanning the eleventh - eighteenth century
Site Data from an Archaeological Evaluation and Watching Brief at Ellen Badger Hospital, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire, 2022 - 2023
This collection comprises images and CAD data from an archaeological evaluation and watching brief at Ellen Badger Hospital, Shipston-on-Stour, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire. Work was undertaken by Archaeology Warwickshire in August 2022 and between December 2022 and February 2023 ahead of construction of a replacement hospital, medical centre, cafe, and associated infrastructure. No archaeological features were present in the excavated trenches. Layers of modern disturbance contained pottery and other finds dating from the 19th - 20th centuries. The watching brief revealed no significant archaeological finds or features. A 19th-century brick-lined well and mid 20th-century brick foundations were recorded
Digital Archive from a Magnetometry Survey at Cuckfield Road, Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex, August 2024
This collection comprises geophysics data, GIS files and a report from a magnetometer survey carried out by MOLA Northampton at Cuckfield Road, Hurstpierpoint on August 15th, 2024. MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) was commissioned to undertake an archaeological geophysical survey of circa 7 hectacres of land off Cuckfield Road, on the northern edge of Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex. The aim of the survey was to identify and map any archaeological remains which may be affected by future development plans

This collection includes geophysics, vector and GIS data from a magnetometer survey carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd at London Road, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire between November 2021 and February 2022
Digital Archive from an Archaeological Recording at Edgcote, Northamptonshire, February-June 2021 (HS2 Phase One)
This collection comprises images, site records, reports, spreadsheets, and vector data from an archaeological recording on land between Edgcote and Culworth in Northamptonshire. This work was undertaken by Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd between February and June 2021. The excavations at C3150 uncovered limited evidence of prehistoric and Iron Age activity with the main phase of activity dating to the Roman period. A series of enclosure ditches and an unusual semi-sunken rectilinear building were uncovered along with a ceramic assemblage indicating activity in the 1st - 2nd centuries AD. A broader range of Roman features were uncovered at C31042 including a field system with enclosures and possible drove ways. Pit clusters and structures, including corn dryers, were also identified. Two inhumation burials with associated grave goods were also discovered in C31042. The archaeological features can be characterised as likely representing two separate Romano-British rural settlement complexes, with that in the north (C31050) having a distinct early Roman emphasis, and that in the south (C31042) being primarily later Roman

Digital Archive from an Archaeological Magnetometry Survey at Broyle Gate Farm, Ringmer, July 2024
This collection comprises a report, geophysical data, a processed image of geophysical data and a CAD drawing from a Magnetometry Survey of 2.4 hectares of land at Broyle Gate Farm, Ringmer. Work was carried out by SUMO GeoSurveys in July 2024. The magnetometer survey did not recorded any magnetic responses that could be interpreted as being of definite archaeological interest
Digital Archive from an Excavation at Dereham Road, Mattishall, Norfolk, April-July 2021
This collection comprises photographs including images of skeletons, site records, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and GIS data from an archaeological excavation at land South of Dereham Road, Mattishall, Norfolk undertaken by Oxford Archaeology East between 28th April and 23rd July 2021. A total of 1.2ha was excavated in advance of residential development, targeting the results of previous geophysical and trial trenching surveys. The excavation revealed several phases of activity spanning the medieval through to the post-medieval and modern periods, with a focus on the development of a common-edge boundary and associated settlement between the 12th and 15th centuries

Digital Archive from an Archaeological Strip Map and Sample Excavation at Copse Lodge Solar Farm, Halse Road, Greatworth, Northamptonshire, March 2024
This collection comprises images, spreadsheets, and GIS data from an archaeological strip map and sample excavation on land off Halse Road, Greatworth, Northamptonshire, which is known as Copse Lodge Solar Farm for planning purposes. This work was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in March 2024. The excavation expanded Trench 22 from a preceding trial trench evaluation that had identified an undated but possibly prehistoric pit containing fired or burnt clay. The excavation revealed an undated pit similar to that seen in Trench 22, the remains of a broadly east/west aligned ridge and furrow system, as well as two post-medieval/modern drainage ditches and other modern disturbance including wheel ruts. The pit likely represents a lower level of (possibly seasonal) activity within the agricultural hinterland of a known Iron Age/Roman settlement located to the south-east of the site
