Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey at Money Hill, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, October 2024
This collection consists of GIS, geophysics and site record data from an archaeological magnetometry survey by MOLA Northampton. Work occurred across c42 hectares of land to the north-east of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire in October 2024.The survey identified ditches of possible archaeological origin, some of which may form part of an enclosure or field system. Extensive evidence for medieval to early post-medieval ridge and furrow was also detected. The works were predominantly conducted by the then Central Archaeology Service (CAS) of English Heritage between October 1996 and August 1998. The confines of the watching brief test pit prevented the relationship of this structure with the southern wall of the chapter house being determined
