    No full text
The rapid growth of e-commerce has revolutionized the way businesses and consumers interact, providing convenience and accessibility. However, this advancement also presents significant challenges in cybersecurity and the protection of privacy rights. This paper examines the key cybersecurity threats in e-commerce transactions, including data breaches, identity theft, phishing attacks, and unauthorized access. It also explores the legal and regulatory frameworks designed to protect consumer privacy, such as GDPR, CCPA, and Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law. The study analyzes existing security measures, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and blockchain technology, to enhance transaction security and safeguard user data. Additionally, the research highlights the role of businesses in ensuring compliance with privacy laws and implementing best practices in data protection. The findings suggest that while technological solutions play a crucial role in mitigating cybersecurity risks, consumer awareness and regulatory enforcement are equally important in strengthening e-commerce security

Inquiry learning strategies are a series of learning activities that emphasize the process of thinking critically to find and find for yourself the answer to a problem in question. This study aims to determine the influence of inquiry learning strategies on the critical thinking ability of class XI science students of MIA Al-washliyah Kedaisianam. This research is in the form of quantitative research with a Quasi-experimental approach. The head of this study is students of class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 Madrasah Aliyah Al-washliyah Kedaisianam Batu Bara school year 2022/2023. The design of this study is The Non-Equivalent Pretest Control Group Design. Data on students' critical abilities were collected using questionnaires. For then the research results obtained from the Non-test questionnaire in the experimental class and control class. Then the data obtained in the critical thinking ability analysis test of students of the two research classes were declared normally distributed and homogeneous and for the hypothesis test showed that the calculation of 20.071 > ttabel 1.669, then it can be categorized as having an influence. And for a significant degree of < 0.05 where 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted and concluded there is an influence of inquiry learning strategies on students' critical thinking ability on regulatory system materials. Keywords: critical thinking, inquiry learning strategies, regulatory systems.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i3.pp1048-105

Who owns Intersectionality? Some reflections on feminist debates on how theories travel

    No full text
Feminist scholars have increasingly expressed their worries about the depoliticization of intersectionality since it has travelled from its point of origin in US Black feminist theory to the shores of Europe. They have argued that the subject for which the theory was intended has been displaced, that Black feminists have been excluded from the discussion, and that white European feminists have usurped all the credit for intersectionality as theory. Intersectionality has been transformed into a product of the neoliberal academy rather than the helpmeet for social justice it was meant to be. This article explores three of the bones of contention in these debates about intersectionality and its travels. The author argues that they rest on notions of ownership that, while understandable, are untenable, and, ultimately, counterproductive. A case will be made for taking a less proprietary stance towards critical theories and instead treating the travels of intersectionality as an occasion for dialogue rather than a contest over ownership

USING THE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS ALGORITHM FOR ASSESSMENT OF LECTURER PERFORMANCE BASED ON LECTURER EVALUATION

    No full text
Lecturer performance appraisal in general aims to provide feedback to lecturers in an effort to improve their performance, in increasing the productivity of an organization, and specifically related to various policies towards lecturers, such as promotions in rank or class, promotions, salary adjustments, training and development, planning career, behavior improvement and others. The role of a decision support system will assist management in achieving the objectives of lecturer performance appraisal, such as lecturer career planning, without compromising the parameters that have been determined. The AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method approach is used in designing a structured system with programming language using PHP and MySQL Databases. The system created can be used to help facilitate the head of study programs or academic bureaus in deciding the problems encountered during the lecturer performance appraisal process. then determine the lecturer's performance assessment with the weighted value of all the criteria for each lecturer, and the head of study program or academic bureau can make decisions and policies for assessing the lecturer's performance.
