The financial performance of banking institutions plays a crucial role in ensuring economic stability and growth. This study aims to compare the financial performance of Islamic banks and conventional banks in Indonesia by analysing key financial indica-tors such as profitability, liquidity, solvency, and efficiency. Using financial ratio analy-sis (ROA, ROE, CAR, NPF/NPL, and FDR/LDR), this research examines the differences in financial performance between Islamic and conventional banks over a specific period. The study applies quantitative methods with secondary data collected from financial statements of selected banks. The data is analysed using descriptive statistical methods and comparative analysis. The findings indicate that Islamic banks and conventional banks exhibit significant differences in certain financial ratios. Islamic banks tend to have higher capital adequacy and lower non-performing financing (NPF), indicating stronger financial resilience. However, conventional banks generally have higher profita-bility ratios (ROA & ROE), suggesting greater efficiency in profit generation. This study contributes to the literature by providing insights into the strengths and weaknesses of both banking systems. The results are useful for policymakers, investors, and banking professionals in understanding the financial sustainability and risk profiles of Islamic and conventional banks in Indonesia

A Comparative Analysis of Thermoelectric Generator Type SP1848-27145 SA Using Three Circuit Variations

Thermoelectric generators (TEGs) are devices that convert heat energy into electrical energy based on the Seebeck effect. This study analyzes the performance of the SP1848-27145 SA thermoelectric generator using three different circuit configurations to determine the most efficient setup for power generation. The research evaluates the voltage, current, power output, and efficiency of each configuration under controlled temperature conditions. The experimental results indicate that different circuit arrangements significantly affect the power output of the thermoelectric generator. The series configuration produced the highest voltage output, while the parallel configuration generated a higher current. The hybrid configuration (a combination of series and parallel) provided a balance between voltage and current, resulting in optimal power efficiency. These findings contribute to the optimization of TEG applications in renewable energy systems, especially in low-power generation scenarios. Further studies could explore heat dissipation techniques and advanced materials to enhance thermoelectric efficiency

The high prevalence of preventable eye diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy, emphasizes the importance of accessible and efficient diagnostic solutions. This research aims to develop a web-based eye disease classification system using a lightweight Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture, MobileNetV2, to overcome computational limitations in real-time applications. CRISP-DM methodology is applied, including dataset preparation, transfer learning with MobileNetV2 and VGG16, model evaluation, and implementation using Flask. The dataset from Kaggle consisting of 4,217 eye fundus images with four classes (cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and normal) was divided into 80% training, 10% validation, and 10% testing. Data augmentation and normalization were performed to improve model generalization. The results showed MobileNetV2 achieved the highest accuracy (90.14%) with low computational requirements, outperforming VGG16 (89.66%) and CNN (86.78%). MobileNetV2 displays balanced precision (89-99%), recall (74-96%), and F1-score (81-99%) across all classes, especially excelling in diabetic retinopathy detection. Its efficiency on resource-constrained environments makes it ideal for web integration. The developed Flask-based application allows users to upload images for instant classification, bridging the healthcare access gap. This research proves the effectiveness of MobileNetV2 in combining high accuracy and computational efficiency, offering a scalable solution for early screening of eye diseases, especially in remote areas

This thesis discusses the Implementation of the Job Equivalency Policy at the Domestic Policy Strategy Agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs (BSKDN Kemendagri). BSKDN Kemendagri is an Echelon I Work Unit within the Ministry of Home Affairs that is affected by job equivalency in accordance with the regulation of PermenPANRB Number 17 of 2021 concerning the Equivalency of Administrative Positions into Functional Positions. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the job equivalency policy at BSKDN Kemendagri along with the factors inhibiting the implementation and efforts of BSKDN Kemendagri to optimize the implementation of the job equivalency policy. The theory used in this study is the conception of Merilee S. Grindle (1980) which requires the success of a policy to be seen from two dimensions, namely the content of the policy and the context of implementation. The data obtained were analyzed using a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the job equivalency policy at the BSKDN Kemendagri has generally been carried out well, but is still less than optimal because the hierarchical structural work pattern and organizational culture are still thick with the structural system. The efforts of BSKDN are to disseminate information and encourage the commitment of leaders to participate in the implementation process, so that employees have clear guidance in carrying out tasks under the work culture after the equivalency into functional positions

Implementation of the Development Plan Policy Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) Sumedang Regency 2005-2025

This research is motivated by the fact that the implementation of the 2005–2025 Sumedang Regency Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) policy as a strategic document for long-term development has not been achieved. The main problems in this research are: (1) how is the implementation of the 2005–2025 Sumedang Regency RPJPD policy, and (2) what are the obstacles faced in its implementation. This research aims to comprehensively describe the process of implementing the RPJPD policy and identify factors inhibiting its implementation for two decades. The method used in this research is a qualitative method (quasi-qualitative) with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through semi-structured interviews with various key informants, consisting of elements of the Regional Head/Deputy Regional Head, DPRD, bureaucracy, community leaders, and supporting documentation. Data were analyzed thematically using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Sumedang Regency RPJPD has not been fully implemented substantially. This policy tends to be a formality document without adequate supervision and evaluation. The major obstacles are the large influence of regional heads, limited human resource capacity, minimal cross-agency coordination, and the absence of an evaluation system and integration of planning documents. The conclusion of the study shows that the success of the implementation of the RPJPD is greatly influenced by political commitment, institutional systems, and sustainability between periods. Therefore, the main suggestion is the need for an integrated regional planning system reform, strengthening the role of Bappeda, determining a special RPJPD supervisor, and periodic evaluation based on indicators
