Digital Notarial Archives in Indonesia: Regulatory Challenges vs. the EU’s GDPR Data Protection Standards
This study examines the regulatory and operational challenges faced by Indonesian notarial institutions in complying with digital data protection standards. Using a qualitative approach through legal analysis and interviews with notaries in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bandung, the research identifies major issues, including limited understanding of data governance, lack of sector-specific regulations, and weak cybersecurity infrastructure. Although Law No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection provides a legal foundation, it lacks clarity and enforcement tailored to notarial functions. A comparison with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) reveals significant gaps, particularly in accountability, transparency, and risk-based mechanisms. The absence of roles such as Data Protection Officers and mandatory data impact assessments highlights the institutional unpreparedness in Indonesia. These shortcomings expose sensitive legal data to potential breaches, reducing public trust and legal reliability. The study recommends the adoption of a sector-specific regulatory model aligned with GDPR principles, supported by standardized protocols, professional training, and oversight mechanisms. These efforts are essential to ensure data security, improve institutional credibility, and support Indonesia’s transition toward secure and professional digital legal services
Analysis of Electric Power Usage Level and Total Electricity Consumption Duration at Binjai City
Electricity is a fundamental source of energy that supports daily human activities across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. As urban development and population growth continue in cities like Binjai, the demand for electricity is steadily increasing. Efficient management of electrical energy usage is crucial to ensure sustainability, reduce environmental impact, and maintain cost-effective energy supply systems. This study aims to analyze the level of electric power usage and the total duration of electricity consumption across various consumer categories in Binjai City. A descriptive quantitative approach is applied by collecting data from utility consumption records, calculating average power usage (kW), total energy consumed (kWh), and determining usage intensity based on national standards. The results indicate that household consumption accounts for the highest usage time, while industrial consumers exhibit the highest average power demand. Several households fall into the high Energy Consumption Intensity (ECI) category, suggesting potential energy inefficiencies. The study emphasizes the importance of awareness, consumption monitoring, and load management strategies to promote energy savings. The findings of this research can be used by local authorities and energy providers to improve electricity distribution planning, encourage responsible usage behavior, and support the development of sustainable urban energy systems
A High Voltage Generation And Measurement Techniques Of Alternating Current
Isolation is the most important and inseparable thing in high voltage equipment. This isolation serves to separate two or more electrical conductors that are under voltage, so that there will be no electric jump or spark between the conductors. Air in normal conditions (air pressure 1013 mBar and temperature 20oC) has a certain breakdown voltage against high alternating voltage. Gas insulating materials, especially air, are insulating materials that are widely used in high voltage equipment because air in ideal conditions is a perfect insulator and is also the most widely used because it is easy, cheap and simple. In this test, room temperature conditions, conditions above and below room temperature are applied to ball-plane electrodes and needle-plane electrodes with different gap distances, to see how much influence the shape of the electrode, temperature, gap distance and voltage polarity have on the dielectric breakdown strength of air. Based on the measurement results at different gap distances, the characteristics of the increase in air breakdown voltage are obtained due to the influence of the gap distance between the two electrodes. The measurement results at different polarities show that the rougher, smaller and sharper electrodes with positive polarity will more easily release electrons. Keywords: insulation, air conditions, high voltage

The Effect Of Liquidity, Profitability, And Solvency On Company Value
This study examines the effect of liquidity, profitability, and solvency on company value in publicly listed firms. Financial performance is a crucial factor influencing investor perceptions and corporate valuation, making it essential to analyze how these three financial indicators impact firm value. The research employs quantitative methods, utilizing financial ratio analysis, including Current Ratio (CR) for liquidity, Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) for profitability, and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) for solvency. Secondary data from financial statements of selected companies is analyzed using multiple regression analysis to determine the significance and strength of the relationships between these variables. The findings indicate that liquidity, profitability, and solvency significantly influence company value, though their effects vary. Profitability (ROA & ROE) has the strongest positive impact, suggesting that firms with higher profitability are more attractive to investors. Solvency (DER) shows a negative relationship, indicating that excessive debt may reduce firm value due to higher financial risk. Analysis of the Working System of a Carcinogenic Substance Neutralization Device (Smoke/Gas) in Enclosed Space Using an MQ2 Sensor Based on Arduino Uno
Air pollution in enclosed spaces, particularly from carcinogenic substances such as smoke and hazardous gases, poses significant health risks. Effective detection and neutralization of these harmful compounds are crucial to ensuring indoor air quality and human safety. This study analysed the working system of a carcinogenic substance neutralization device that utilizes an MQ2 gas sensor and Arduino Uno for real-time monitoring and control. The system is designed to detect the presence of carbon monoxide (CO), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), smoke, and other harmful gases using the MQ2 sensor. When the sensor detects a gas concentration exceeding a predefined threshold, the Arduino Uno microcontroller triggers an exhaust fan or an air purification mechanism to neutralize the pollutants. The system also features a real-time display and an alarm to alert users of hazardous gas levels. The experimental results indicate that the MQ2 sensor effectively detects gas concentrations with a fast response time. The Arduino-based control system efficiently activates the neutralization process, improving air quality in enclosed spaces. The integration of this system with smart monitoring devices can enhance air pollution management in industrial, residential, and commercial environments.
