STUDY ON VICTIMOLOGY OF MEDICAL MALPRACTICE IN INDONESIA
Often, people easily judge a doctor to do malpractice to his/her patient, when in fact it is not. Conversely there are doctors who do not understand how the law works, so in terms of patient doctor relationship more to remember the noble profession ethic. The medical profesional ethic is very good, but in the certain condition doctors can actually be harmed for maintaining their professional ethics when they must be opposite of positif law. This information illustrates the opinions of the author, its not the formal opinion of any government, aimed only for educational materials, that is knowing the various victims of malpractice medic and proof that occurred in Indonesia. Doctors can be considered guilty when dealing with patients whose their treatment does not cure the patient. The result of a patient in a medical treatment depends on many factors that support and otherwise may occur a medical risk that harms the patient even though the treatment process has been in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Doctors can also make mistakes either intentionally or because of negligence that can harm the patient or even a sense of community justice. Victims of medical malpractice can vary, from clear or unclear, making it difficult to prove that they are victims of medical malpractice. In addition, the grade of a persons role so that he himself becomes a victim of medical malpractice also vary. With the high complexity of medical science, ordinary people are often still difficult to understand and often make mistakes in implementing the treatment process so that self-harm. In the litigation process, several ways of proving can be used either in proving a doctor has malpractice or otherwise that someone is a victim of medical malpractice. The handling of malpractice cases still often uses general laws and regulations (lex generalis)
Utilization of robusta coffee waste as a renewable energy material - bioetanol
A research on robusta coffee waste has been conducted as a renewable energy material - Bioethanol. This research was carried out by hydrolysis and fermentation process using Zymomonasmobilis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Zymomonasmobilis) bacteria to obtain the best catalyst type in the process of hydrolysis of coffee skin to glucose and the effect of fermentation time on bioethanol content produced. This research was conducted by varying the fermentation time of 7 days; 8 days; 9 days and 10 days. The fermentation fluid was then distilled and tested for bioethanol using a refractometer. Furthermore, bioethanol concentration in the analysis using
Adsorption of Congo Red Dye on HDTMA Surfactant-Modified Zeolite A Synthesized from Fly Ash
Adsorption of anionic dyes Congo Red (CR) on HDTMA surfactant-modified zeolite A has been studied. The zeolite A, which is synthesized from coal fly ash, was modified with surfactant hexdeciltrimethylammonium bromide (HDTMA-Br) as much as 200% cation exchange capacity (CEC) of the zeolite. The effect of pH, contact time and initial concentration on the CR adsorption has been evaluated. The adsorption was carried out in a batch reactor at various pH, contact time and initial concentration on the given temperature. The amount CR adsorption varies as a function of pH, contact time and initial concentration of solution. Adsorption model of Langmuir and Freundlich from empirical data is used for this experiment. The Langmuir isotherm is more suitable for this adsorption. The experimental data fulfilled pseudo second-order kinetic models. The surfactant-modified zeolite A is more effective than zeolite A without modified on the adsorption of CR in aqueous solution.</jats:p
Land use change on climate parameters at Samin subwatershed in Central Java, Indonesia
Abstract
The Samin sub-watershed (SSW) is one of the critical watersheds in Indonesia which need conservation. The identification of land-use/land-cover changes (LUCC) can help in deciding the priority of conservation areas as well as limiting the widespread of critical lands in the watershed, which can contribute to climate change. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of land use change on climate parameters, i.e. precipitation, air temperature and relative air humidity. The method is by using the descriptive explorative. The study employed Indonesian topographic map and Landsat's imageries of 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2016. The climate data from 1996 to 2016 were obtained from surroundings weather station. Data were analyzed using Geographic Information System (GIS) and SPSS. The results showed that land use was dominated by rice fields 22,552.83 ha (69.20%), and converted to non-agricultural lands 165.05 hectares/year for the last 20 years. Forest area decreased 65.8 ha/year, and settlement (housing and industrial estates) increased 253.87 ha/year (11.07%). The statistical analysis resulted in a negative relationship between forest area and air temperature and, but no significant correlation with rainfall.</jats:p
Efforts of the Samosir District Election Supervisory Agency to Preventing Money Politics in the 2024 General Election
This research departs from the occurrence of money politics in the 2024 elections in several regions of Indonesia with the issuance of a verdict on the criminal act of money politics by the court. This attracts the author's interest to examine the election process in Samosir Regency, especially with the issues and reports of money politics in the 2020 Samosir Regional Head Elections, but there was no decision on the occurrence of money politics by Samosir District Election Supervisory Agency as the institution responsible for the supervision process of the Samosir Regency regional elections. This study aims to analyze Samosir District Election Supervisory Agency efforts to prevent the practice of money politics, especially the 2024 Legislative Elections. The research method used by the author is a qualitative research method. Data were obtained from primary data sources through direct interviews with relevant parties.
The results showed that Samosir District Election Supervisory Agency made efforts to prevent money politics in the elections through the Participatory Supervision program. Participatory Supervision invites the community and all related parties to jointly actively participate in supervising the election process and providing an understanding of the implementation of elections and prohibitions such as money politics. Analysis of the implementation of the efforts made by Samosir District Election Supervisory Agency found that there were still shortcomings, especially in the mechanism for implementing efforts made at the stages of the Election process. The Supervision Process in practice has problems that occur and are interrelated where these factors are interconnected with each other in the process of organizing the 2024 Samosir Election.136 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
