Examining the articulation between reading and writing and the way it is built into Edmond Amran El Maleh's fictional texture enables us to discern the subtle links between the texts that most impressed the author. In particular, the reading of Walter Benjamin's works appears as a source of inspiration that enables us to better understand a tangle of borrowings underlying a certain homogeneity in the development of El Maleh's writing. Establishing this link between the two authors allows us to re-read El Maleh's works as an extension of Benjamin's thought, as a carrying out of allegoric writing, inducing a particular connection to speech, history and art.

Abstract
In his quest for identity, Edmond Amran El Maleh makes his writing a plea on his ancestral city, Essaouira. It traces the route of the immemorial and millennia-old places which had constituted the journey of a glorious past of the Jews of Morocco. Through the journey which constitutes the matrix of his literary and critical work, the author makes Essaouira the dazzling center of his recreation and his imagination, and the image-refuge by which Moroccan Jews allow themselves to escape the silence and to death.

The Fall of the Ottoman Empire, the Mismanagement of Palestine and Subsequent Land Grab
The fall of the Ottoman Empire was heavily anticipated and watched by numerous European nations eager to gain authority. The 1916 Sykes-Picot Agreement between Britain and France pre-maturely divvied up the Ottoman Empire in the event of a collapse. Mandatory Palestine, as promised, would fall to the British. The nation quickly became a mangle of commitments to the Arab and Jewish community. The acquisition of Palestine was imperative to the introduction of a Jewish state, proximity to the burgeoning supply of Oil and the defence of India. Ultimately, the misconduct by the British led to many deadly riots and the land grab of Palestine.Peer reviewe

Lightweight TDMA Protocol for wireless vehicular communications
Wireless vehicular communications (WVC) has been identified as a key technology for intelligent
transportation systems (ITS) for a few years ago. IEEE 802.11p (WAVE: wireless access in vehicular
environments) is the proposed standard for physical and MAC layer of WVC devices. The standard is
extended from 802.11 protocols. The main objectives of the standard are to change the frame format and
increase delay spread tolerance introduced by vehicle mobility, in which the channel bandwidth is scaled
from 20 MHz in 802.11a to 10 MHz in 802.11p. However, to ensure interoperability between vehicles
communicate in rapidly changing environment where a packet transmission should be completed in short
time-frame is a problematic issue. This poster proposes WiFi-based TDMA technique with flexible time
slots and guard bands to tackle this problem. The new TDMA sublayer is compatible with the 802.11p
standard to ensure the feasibility of adoption by any vendor. The simulation results present the
performance analysis and validate the efficiency of the proposed method
