GREEN PRODUCTIVITY TO INCREASE THE PRODUCTIVITY OF SUGARCANE FARMERS WITH COBB-DOUGLASS METHOD
Sugarcane is a crop that requires a number of processing steps from planting to harvesting. Green productivity is a viable option to increase the productivity and sustainability of sugarcane. Various planting methods, management strategies (fertilisation), insect/pest and disease management options as well as management of adverse climatic conditions and waste management that not only improve soil fertility and sugarcane productivity are environmentally friendly and safe for the environment. Productivity in the sugarcane farming environment requires improvement so that the sugarcane management process does not adversely affect the environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect productivity and recommendations for improving green productivity. Cobb Douglass method to determine the factors in sugarcane farming that affect the sugarcane management process and green productivity is a strategy used to increase productivity and reduce the environmental impact of sugarcane fields. The results of this study found that the output elasticity value of sugarcane farm labour input symbolized (β) in the 2021-2022 period was smaller than the input of raw materials (α), which was 0.39 in units of million rupiah. Based on this, it can be concluded that the input that has the greatest influence on the productivity of sugarcane farmers is labour, as evidenced by the smallest elasticity value, which means that it has a large influence on productivity. So that to increase green productivity is to reduce the cost of expenditure on labour by maximising working tim
HAZOP and FTA as Hazard Reduction Methods in Mattress Production Process : [HAZOP dan FTA Sebagai Metode Pengurangan Bahaya pada Proses Produksi Matras
UMKM X is a micro, small, and medium enterprise engaged in manufacturing as an MSME providing mattresses. The problem that occurs is the lack of risk management in the mattress production process. The study aims to determine how to minimize work accidents and the need for risk management that aims to identify hazard risks and suggest hazard improvement actions in the mattress production process. The Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) approach is one of several ways to conduct a risk assessment. The highest criterion level value was obtained at 20 for inhalation of dust exposure from cutting residue and exposure to chemicals from glue at an extreme risk level. Corrective actions are needed such as purchasing masks that have filters, creating PPE management stocks, imposing sanctions on violators, and providing restrictions on each existing production area
Risk Management of Chrome Drum Motor Process with FMEA and FTA Methods: Manajemen Risiko Proses Chrome Tromol Motor dengan Metode FMEA dan FTA
. The chrome drum process in the XYZ chrome workshop goes through several stages and there are several risks that often occur in this workshop, namely the nickel layer is cracked and the chrome on the drum is not shiny, and in 3 months, namely September, October, November 2023 there were 43 drums, 10 drums experienced cracked nickel layers and 6 drums were not shiny so that risk control and the application of methods for controlling product rejects are needed so that similar incidents do not occur, therefore risk management is very necessary. The purpose of this study was to determine the risks of nickel plating, namely the layer on the drum is too thin and even cracked and the risk of chrome on the drum is not shiny. The method used in this study is a combination of FMEA and FTA
Waste Area Risk Mitigation PT. XYZ using the HIRARC Method and Bow Tie Analysis: Mitigasi Risiko Area Limbah PT.XYZ dengan menggunakan Metode HIRARC dan Bow Tie Analysis
At PT. XYZ often experiences several work accidents which result in large losses due to weak existing risk management. Frequent work accidents include employees being crushed by rotting buildings, as well as problems arising from inadequate waste disposal and waste burning which causes smoke to enter the production area and become a big problem for production activities. The method used in this research is HIRARC which is used to determine the highest risk and also Bow Tie Analysis which is used as an appropriate risk mitigation tool. The results of this research show that one of the appropriate mitigation methods is to always wear complete personal protective equipment when working and carry out strict supervision and control of K3. One of the long-term recommendations that can be applied to company risk mitigation is the creation of official K3 rules that can be updated regularly
