Strategic Analysis of Mango (Mangifera indica) Value Chain in Dilla Zuriya District, Dilla Ethiopia
No full textDilla Zuriya has a suitable agro-climatic condition for production of horticultural crops. There are ample garden mango trees in Dilla zuriya at farmer’s holdings. The livelihood of most of these farmers is highly supplemented by the sale of mango fruits and other horticultural. The objective of this study is to analysis value chain of mango in Dilla Zuriya district. The analysis of sub sector was done to identify general constraints and causes of the main problem. Information for the analysis of sub sector was gathered through an interview with agricultural officer of the district and desk study from a wide range of secondary sources. The analysis of gathered information done using value chain analysis and presented by chain map, PESTEC, SWOT and problem tree. Contextual factors surrounding Mango value chain were identified by the analysis. Dilla zuriya smallholder farmers earn less income from mango production because of post-harvest losses, low price of mango and low productivity that results in limited capital to improve their farm and low living standard. The yield is low as compared to other mango growing areas in Ethiopia. Most farmers are using poor harvest and post-harvest handling practices due to lack of awareness and lack post-harvest handling technologies. In addition, they are having limited access to central market. These problems are not caused because of a single actor. Solving these problems need collaboration between different stakeholders in the chain. Therefore, stakeholders must work hand in hand to improve the smallholder farmers’ income and sub sector in the district

No full textJ Dilla oli Hip hop tuottaja ja beattien tekijä. Olen kiinnostunut siitä kuinka hän samplaa ja tuottaa musiikkinsa. Saadakseni syvemmän ymmärryksen hänen musiikista, olen lukenut kirjallisuutta, katsonut haastatteluja ja kuunnellut hänen musiikkiansa. Olen myös lukenut usean muusikon haas-tatteluita, jotka ovat ilmoittaneet J Dillan vaikutteeksi ja saanut ymmärrystä miksi J Dillan musiikki on heihin vaikuttanut.
Olen analysoinut J Dillan tapaa ajoittaa instrumentit ja samplet toisiinsa nähden musiikissa. Tätä demonstroin transkriptiolla rumpukompeista.J Dilla var en hip hop producent och beat–tillverkare. Jag är intresserad hur han samplar och gör sin musik. Med hjälp av litteraturen och intervjuer, har jag fått en djupare uppfattning om hans musik och hans sätt att göra musik. Jag har också läst intervjuer med olika musiker, som har J Dilla som influens. Utifrån intervjuerna har jag fått en uppfattning om hur hans musik har påverkat dessa musiker.
Jag har analysera J Dillas sätt att placera instrumentten och samples inom musik. Detta har jag demonstrerat med transkriptioner av trumkompen.J Dilla was a hip hop producer and a beatmaker. I am interested in his music and how he creates music. With the help of literature and interviews, have I developed a deeper understanding of his music and how creates his music. I have also read interviews with different musicians, whom has influenced by J Dilla. Through the interviews I have realized how his music has influenced these musicians.
I have analyzed J Dillas way of placing instruments and samples in his music. This I demonstrate with
transkriotions of drumbeats
