The symbols in the poetry of ruben dario
No full text碩士本論文主要分為三個章節，第一章，何為象徵符號？本章節主要藉由象徵理論學家，威爾伯 (Wilbur Marshall Urban)、弗萊(Northrop Frye)、托多羅夫(Tzvetan Todorov)、賽洛特(Juan-Eduardo Cirlot)以及其他學者的相關文獻解釋象徵符號的定義以及象徵符號在文學作品中的定義。
第二章針對達里歐的生平、作品以及達里歐在現實主義時期的重要性為論述重點。筆者根據達里歐的生平以及生長年代來了解他的作品特色，達里歐一生多采多姿，尤其感情方面更為豐富，這些人生際遇皆影響達里歐的寫作風格。達里歐不只是詩人，也是歷史的見證者，從他的作品中可以看到政治歷史的變化趨勢。達里歐著作極為豐富，筆者在本章節挑選三本可以代表達里歐的作品：《藍》(Azul)、《每日詩》(Prosas profanes)以及《生命與希望之歌》(Cantos de vida y esperanza)。達里歐與現實主義有著密不可分的關係，他的寫作風格不僅受到現實主義作家的影響，同時也是影響現實主義作家的重要人士之一。
第三章筆者不僅針對達里歐的詩集作品分析，同時也分析其散文作品，如《稀奇》(Los raros)。筆者將經常出現於達里歐作品中的象徵符號分為三個部分：顏色符號、禽鳥符號和寶石符號。顏色符號部分主要分析的顏色為藍色、綠色、白色以及黑色。禽鳥符號則針對天鵝、鴿子、孔雀和老鷹。而最後的寶石符號則以珠寶、寶石、鑽石、琥珀、黃金和水晶為主要分析內容。
最後筆者希望藉由這篇論文的研究，能讓大家了解象徵符號經由作家的詮釋，即使相同的符號，也擁有不同的意義。此外也希望大家能透過此篇論文認識文學史上重要的拉丁美洲作家盧本達里歐先生。In this thesis we explore definitions of symbols and the life of the author in the book of Ruben Dario. Dario is an author who emphasized the importance of the use of symbols though out his books. Therefore we might consider him as a master specialized in writing with symbols.
We divide the thesis into three chapters. In the first chapter, we give details to the definition of the symbols. According to scholars like Urban, Frye, Todorov and Cirlot, we are able to understand symbols in forms of signs, images and words. The concept of the symbols is relatively comprehensive, taking into consideration that a symbol is not always a sign; in fact, it is much more than a sign.
In the second chapter, we describe Ruben Dario about his life, literary works and the times when he lived. His life was interesting, colorful and varied. He was not only a poet but a public figure, having been an ambassador of Nicaragua in Spain. Dario wrote many pieces and each was important to him. Based on his narration, there are three books that can represent Ruben Dario, Azul, Prosas profanas and Cantos de vida y esperanza.
Dario was the master of Modernism, mainly because of the great influence of Latin America. Not only did Ruben Dario influence the poets of Modernism but was influenced by other poets in the same period.
In the last chapter we examine the symbols in the poetry of Dario and we divided the symbols into three parts: the colors, birds and precious stones. The first part, we examine the colors. There are blue, green, and black. In the second part, we deal with the symbols of birds, including swans, pigeons, peacocks and eagles. And in the last part, we talk about precious stones. We analyze the symbols of agate, ruby, diamond, crystal and gold. Finally, we end up with the conclusions and bibliography.INTRODUCCION 1

Dr. Ruben Arellano Interview
No full textDr. Ruben Arellano (B.A. 2010, Ph.D. 2017) was interviewed by Joel Zapata in the Oral History Studio at Fondren Library at Southern Methodist University on July 17, 2019. In his interview, Dr. Arellano described his binational upbringing in Mexico and the United States. However, from elementary school onward, Dr. Arellano lived in Dallas, where he was born. Dr. Arellano grew up in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas and attended Skyline High School. While in Skyline High School, Dr. Arellano was part of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan as well as Raza Alianza. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army. Afterward, Dr. Arellano participated in various social justice and cultural organizations in Dallas. He went on to attend El Centro College. Once obtaining in A.A. in Art and Ethnic Studies, he attended Southern Methodist University. He graduated with degrees in Art and Ethnic Studies in 2010. Afterward, he entered Southern Methodist University's Ph.D. Program in History. Dr. Arellano completed this degree in 2017. He has taught at the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of North Texas at Dallas, the University of Texas at El Paso, and is now teaching at Mountain View College
Ruben Martins: trajectory and analysis of brand network of tropical hotels
No full textEsta dissertação tem como principal objetivo a introdução à obra do designer Ruben de Freitas Martins (1929 - 1968), apreendendo a sua trajetória e algumas das principais características criativas de seu trabalho. Ele iniciou sua carreira como artista plástico, derivando-a para o design até atingir a posição de empresário do setor, engajado na divulgação da profissão no Brasil. Nessa condição, durante a década de 60 dirigiu a Forminform, considerado o primeiro escritório de design do país. Na primeira parte da dissertação, com o intuito de analisar de forma eficaz e comparativa o seu trabalho, buscamos investigar e reconstruir a trajetória de Ruben Martins, sua formação profissional e o círculo social com o qual conviveu. Para tanto, foi realizado um levantamento de dados sobre a história e o contexto do designer, incluindo a coleta de matérias jornalísticas, artigos e entrevistas realizadas com personalidades que possuem informações sobre o próprio, como João Carlos Cauduro e Karl Heinz Bergmiller, além da constante pesquisa junto ao Acervo Pessoal de Ruben Martins, recolhido pela família. Na segunda parte, encontra-se a análise detalhada de um de seus principais trabalhos, a marca criada para a Rede de Hotéis Tropical (1967), \"leitura\" esta construída a partir do rebatimento das informações levantadas na primeira parte do trabalho.This dissertation has as main objective the introduction to the work of designer Ruben de Freitas Martins (1929 - 1968), seizing his career and some key features of his creative work. He began his career as an artist, deriving her to the design to reach the position of manager of the sector, engaged in spreading the profession in Brazil. In this condition, during the 60´s, directed the office Forminform, considered the first design office in the country. In the first part of the dissertation, in order to effectively analyze and compare their work, we investigate and reconstruct the trajectory of Ruben Martins, vocational training and social circle with whom he lived. To that end, we conducted a survey about the history and context of the designer, including collection of news stories, articles and interviews with personalities who have information about him, as João Carlos Cauduro and Karl Heinz Bergmiller, farther the constant search with the Personal Collection of Ruben Martins, picked up by family. The second part is the detailed analysis of one of his major works, the brand created for the Network of Tropical Hotels (1967), the \"reading\" is built from information gathered in the first part of the dissertation

Se reconoce la enorme importancia que ha adquirido esta disciplina en los últimos cuarenta años, con aportes significativos desde el punto de vista académico y normativo en las modernas Constituciones. Se plantea el problema de la terminología utilizada en la doctrina europea y latinoamericana, especialmente los conceptos de Jurisdicción constitucional, Justicia constitucional, Contencioso constitucional y Derecho Procesal Constitucional. Se realiza un examen de los diferentes modelos de control de constitucionalidad en el Derecho Comparado, a partir de los modelos tradicionales difuso y concentrado, conocidos como modelos estadounidense y austríaco, con un examen particular de la hibridación de los sistemas tradicionales que se ha producido tanto en Europa como en América Latina.This work analyzes the importance of Constitutional Procedural Law as an independent Public Law discipline based on doctrine developments in Latin America and Europe. This discipline has become essential in the last forty years, with significant contributions from the academic and normative areas in modern constitutions. There is an issue concerning the terminology used in European and Latin American doctrine, especially regarding Constitutional Jurisdiction, Constitutional Justice, Constitutional Litigation, and Constitutional Procedural Law. This work examines various constitutionality review models in Comparative Law, starting from the traditional diffuse and concentrated models, known as the American and Austrian models, with an in-depth review of the hybridization of the traditional systems in Europe and Latin America.É analisada a importância que tem o Direito Processual Constitucional, como uma disciplina autônoma do Direito Público, a partir dos estudos doutrinários realizados na América Latina e na Europa. Reconhece-se a enorme importância que tem adquirido esta disciplina nos últimos quarenta anos, com aportes significativos desde o ponto de vista acadêmico e normativo nas Constituições modernas. Se realiza un estudio particular de los caracteres del nuevo constitucionalismo en América Latina, así como los nuevos paradigmas y desafíos que se presentan a la hora de redactar y aprobar nuevas Constituciones.By virtue of the constitutional reform process being carried out in Chile, the main periods in Latin American constitutionalism historical evolution are reviewed, with special emphasis on such Constitutions approved subsequently to the Latin American military dictatorships during the seventies of the 20th Century. Las buenas jugadas : las estrategias de poder de los funcionarios administrativos de la Intendencia de Montevideo
Full text linkEl presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo central indagar en las relaciones de trabajo existentes en la Intendencia de Montevideo desde la perspectiva de las estrategias de poder implementadas por los trabajadores administrativos. Se eligió a los administrativos en concreto por razones de factibilidad y de interés teórico. Los otros escalafones con mayor cantidad de funcionarios son los obreros y los profesionales. Para poder categorizar las estrategias de poder de los trabajadores administrativos en la Intendencia, primero se utilizó los modelos propuestos por Mintzberg (2002) para conceptuar la Intendencia como organización. En este sentido, se complementó dicha mirada sobre las organizaciones con los aportes de Jean Nizet y Francois Pichault (2008). También se abordó como conceptualización relacionada con los elementos constitutivos de la organización, el concepto de cultura organizacional propuesto por Schein (1988) En relación al estudio de la temática del poder dentro del ámbito laboral, se utilizó el concepto propuesto por Crozier y Friedberg (1990) tomando al poder como relación social. En cuanto al diseño metodológico, este se basó en un punto de partida epistemológico fundamentado en la comprensión de los fenómenos y no en su explicación, lo que deriva en un tipo de diseño cualitativo de carácter etnográfico, ya que busca principalmente adentrarse en el sentido subjetivo que dan los trabajadores a sus prácticas dentro del ámbito laboral. En relación a las técnicas de investigación, se utilizaron principalmente dos, la entrevista en profundidad a trabajadores administrativos y la observación directa en el lugar de trabajo a través de la constitución de un muestreo teórico. Sobre los resultados de la investigación, se logró contrastar las hipótesis planteadas, a saber: se constató la existencia de una relación empírica entre los niveles estructurales de la organización (su forma “hibrida” y su tipo de cultura organizacional) y los tipos de estrategias realizadas por los trabajadores administrativos. Dichas estrategias de poder son en sí estrategias prácticas elaboradas en el marco de una negociación permanente entre jefes y subalternos, así como entre subalternos entre sí.The present research work has as a central objective to investigate the existing labor relations in the Municipality of Montevideo from the perspective of the power strategies implemented by the administrative workers. The administrative ones in particular were chosen for reasons of feasibility and theoretical interest. The other ranks with the largest number of officials are the workers and professionals. In order to categorize the power strategies of administrative workers in the Administration, the models proposed by Mintzberg (2002) were first used to conceptualize the Administration as an organization. In this sense, this look on organizations was complemented with the contributions of Jean Nizet and Francois Pichault (2008). The concept of organizational culture proposed by Schein (1988) was also addressed as conceptualization related to the constituent elements of the organization In relation to the study of the theme of power within the workplace, the concept proposed by Crozier and Friedberg (1990) was used, taking power as a social relationship. As for the methodological design, this was based on an epistemological starting point based on the understanding of the phenomena and not on their explanation, which results in a type of qualitative design of ethnographic character, since it mainly seeks to delve into the subjective sense that workers give to their practices within the workplace. In relation to research techniques, two were used mainly, in-depth interviews with administrative workers and direct observation in the workplace through the constitution of a theoretical sampling. On the results of the investigation, it was possible to contrast the hypotheses raised, namely: the existence of an empirical relationship between the structural levels of the organization (its "hybrid" form and its type of organizational culture) and the types of strategies were found made by administrative workers. These power strategies are in themselves practical strategiess developed within the framework of a permanent negotiation between bosses and subordinates, as well as between subordinates among themselves
