[Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo]: Simuni Creek, Rupununi River, 3 Aug 1931, Forest Department 2108 (K [barcode K000587699 image!]; isolectotype: K [barcode K000587700 image!]). Notes — Markgraf (1935a) indicated the gathering Forest Department 2108 in the prologue of A. sandwithianum but did not cite in which herbarium the type would be deposited. Aspidosperma formosanum Duarte in Arq. Jard. Bot. Rio de Janeiro 19: 218. 1973. Holotype:— BRAZIL. Goiás: Formosa para Poções, 19 Oct 1965, A.P. Duarte 9387 (RB (mounted on three herbarium sheets) [barcode 00535041!, barcode 00567817!, barcode 00567818!]; isotypes: CEN [barcode CEN00071899 image!], NY [barcode 01546547 image!]). Notes — Duarte (1973) indicated the gathering Duarte 9387 from the herbarium RB in the protologue of A. formosanum. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Ducke 931 [pro parte [flowering branch]] (RB (mounted on four herbarium sheets) [barcode 00535070!, barcode 00535154!, barcode 00535155!, barcode 00535156!]; isolectotypes: BM [barcode BM000952694 image!], F [barcode V0092472F image!], IAN [No. 10489!], MO [barcode MO-2958590], NY [barcode 00297981 image!, barcode 00297982 image!], R [barcode R000055239!], S [No. S18-29249 image!]). “ Aspidosperma obscurinervum ” Azambuja, mss. in sched. Notes — Azambuja (1946) indicated the gathering Ducke 931 from the herbarium RB (RB No. 50969) in the prologue of A. obscurinervium. However, since the same collecting number was used for two different gatherings, corresponding to specimens with flowers (“ 16-5-1942 ”) and follicles (“XI-42”), we chose the gathering with flowers as the lectotype collection of A. obscurinervium (ICN article 9.3; Turland et al. 2018).
