Anwar Zahid is famous for every joke in his da'wah activities which are mostly themed on everyday events experienced by the community, not infrequently he also brings sarcasm humor and even witty humor using academic sentences depending on who the mad'u attend

The Change in Growth, Osmolyte Production and Antioxidant Enzymes Activity Explains the Cadmium Tolerance in Four Tree Species at the Saplings Stage

Phytoremediation is a green technology; however, very few species of arid environments have been identified as hyperaccumulators and fast growers. Therefore, a greenhouse experiment was performed to evidence the phytoaccumulation potential of Conocarpus erectus, Syzygium cumini, Populus deltoides and Morus alba at the sapling stage. Six-month-old plant saplings were subjected to control (CK; 0 µM) and cadmium treatments (Cd; CdCl2; 200 µM). The results depicted that plant growth, dry biomass production (leaf and stem) and chl a, b and carotenoid contents decreased significantly in all four species under Cd treatment; however, the lowest decrease was evidenced in Conocarpus erectus. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide and superoxide radical increased significantly in all four species, with the highest increase observed in Morus alba. Osmolytes production, antioxidant enzymes activity (superoxide dismutase, peroxidase, catalase and ascorbate peroxidase) and Cd accumulation in the leaves, stem and root increased significantly in all four species under Cd treatment, with the highest increase observed in Conocarpus erectus. The translocation factor was >1 in Conocarpus erectus, Syzyngoim cumini and Populus deltoides and was <1 in Morus alba. The study revealed a better Cd tolerance in Conocarpus erectus, which was driven by the effective osmolyte balance and antioxidant enzymes mechanism

Regionalism and regional security in South Asia: the role of SAARC

    No full text
Zahid Shahab Ahmed evaluates the progress of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). This study goes beyond economic integration to present a detailed appraisal of cooperation under the overarching themes of economic cooperation, environmental security, human welfare, and cooperation in security matters. According to the author, SAARC is making progress in addressing the myriad of issues on its agenda. The transition from agreements to actions and frequent interactions among the member states has boosted confidence. The progress of SAARC is more evident in the less controversial areas of human security, such as poverty alleviation, health and safety, human resources development, and higher education. Notwithstanding enthusiastic commitments reflected in agreements and action plans, there is a gulf between rhetoric and implementation most notably in sensitive areas relating to traditional security. In the light of the findings of this study, the author proposes that greater cooperation in common human security areas has a potential to pave the way for a cooperation on issues of a 'contentious' nature, particularly terrorism

The syllabus of English that has been adopted in public and private schools in Pakistan does not meet the criteria to achieve the targets. It has been revised at some point of times, but the problems persist and impede the students\u27 learning performance, but the problems persist and impede the students\u27 learning performance. The syllabus designers have developed it without considering the needs of the students and the instructors\u27 abilities. The researcher has focused on evaluating the imperfection in syllabus designing that hampers learner to learn and instructors to teach. The objectives of this study are understanding, evaluation, and development of syllabus in English language skills. This study has been conducted at the primary school level to understand the learners\u27 problems at an initial level. The selected material for analysis is the textbook of English taught at grade 1 in public schools of Pakistan. The analysis of the contents of the textbook syllabus would enable the researchers to develop a hypothesis to remove all the flaws from the syllabus of English textbooks. The questions of syllabus designing at the initial level, the contents of the syllabus, and to develop a functional-based syllabus have been addressed in this research

Break Even Point Analysis as a Tool for Short-TermProfit Planning in PT Awfa Smart Media Palembang Zahid Ahmad, 2016 (xiv + 68 Pages) E - Mail : [email protected] The final report is entitled "Break Even Point Analysis as a Tool for Short-Term Profit Planning in PT Awfa Smart Media Palembang." PTAwfa Smart Media Palembang is a company engaged in the printing and advertising, sale of stationery and photocopying services. To get corporate data, the author uses the method of data collection with interviews, observation, questionnaires and literature research. Based on data and information obtained, it is known that the company has not made the classification of costs into fixed costs and variable costs, so the company can not yet calculate the break even point and margin of safety that can be used as a planning tool company. Based on literature review (literature) the authors analyze the classification of costs, break even point calculations, planning, profit and margin of safety. From the results of the analysis, the authors can conclude that in the planning of profit by using the break even point analysis, requires a fixed cost data and cost variables. Further analysis of the break even point can be used to predict costs that will occur to expect a certain profit. The author also gives advice to the management company to consider using the break even point analysis as a planning tool and the company should make a calculation of the level of security (margin of safety), so the company can determine how safe the volume of sales that the company did not suffer losses

Gürbüz, Mustafa Zahid (Dogus Author) -- Conference full title: 4th International Conference on Computer Science and Engineering, UBMK 2019; Samsun; Turkey; 11 September 2019 through 15 September 2019.IT service management and incident management is a hot topic in every company which serves IT services and they require human effort to manage. In ITIL framework for IT service management, it's always useful to link the incidents with configuration items, in other words the assets or components necessary to deliver IT services and this task is managed manually by IT support technicians in many IT service management tools. The aim of the study is to remove this manual linking step by applying text classification methods and instead to provide an automatic assignment of CI's to incidents. Four of the text classification methods, Naïve Bayes Multinomial, k-Nearest Neighbor, Support Vector Machine and J48 decision tree classifiers, are used on three different sets of incidents extracted from the same database by using different filters. The impact of some pre-processing steps is compared on different sizes of datasets
