He cited poems on subject of religion and Sufism. He received nickname "Zikri." He wanted to collect his poems in a book. However, such a book is non-existent now. His poems spread in oral tradition. Zikri died in 1939

Muhammed en-Nesefî (1068 -1142), M â verâ ünnehr’in Müslüman Araplar tarafından fethinden itibaren yaşadığı döneme kadar gelen Semerkand, Nesef, ve Buhârâ’da yaşamış veya bulunmuş muhaddisler ve meşhur ulemanın hal tercümelerini ilm-i ricâ l kapsamında alfabetik bir sıra ile ele almıştır. Eserde dini bilgilerin dışında, Türk Hakanlığı’nın tarihine, idarî, askerî, sosyal yapısına dair orijinal bilgiler ihtiva eder. Dolayısı ile bu makale de, Nesefî’nin hakanlık hakkındaki kayıtları ele alınarak, analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır.al-Kand fî Zikri Ulam âi Samarkand is an Arabic religious – biographical work written during the reign of the Turkic Khanate (Qarakhanids). The author of this work, Abû Hafs Nacmu’d-Dîn Omar b. Mohammad an-Nasafî (1068 -1142) alphabetically examined the life history o f renown ulema who lived or settled in Sama rkand, Nas af and Buk hara from the conquest of Transoxiana by Muslim Arabs until the period he lived. Apart from religious information, the work contains original data about the history and the social, administrative and military structure of Qarakhanids. Therefore, this article tries to examine and analyze the records of Nasafi on the khanate (Qarakahanids )
Circular dichroism of some high-symmetry chiral molecules: B3LYP and SAOP calculations
No full textComputational modeling of optical activity, circular dichroism (CD) and optical rotatory dispersion, is rapidly becoming a useful supplement to experimental studies of absolute configuration. Here, we investigate the predictions of two alternative formulations of the rotational strength based on time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT), for a series of high symmetry chiral systems. We employ the TD-DFT method as realized in Gaussian 03 suite with the hybrid functional B3LYP and as incorporated in the Amsterdam density functional (ADF) suite with PBE and SAOP functionals. The high-symmetry systems described here are somewhat larger than those used to evaluate the influence of basis sets and density functional choice, and for such large systems the very extensive basis sets recommended by most investigators may not be suitable for routine use. We observe that useful results for these systems can be obtained in modest bases, and in particular that diffuse functions may not be required for informative use of the ADF implementation. The statistical average of orbital potentials (SAOP) model developed by Baerends is essential to the success of the ADF implementation. In some cases chirality is defined by features of the molecular structure remote from the chromophore. This is a severe test of the TD-DFT theory, since high-lying excitations define the most prominent features of the CD spectra, and complicates the use of computations to guide the assignment of absolute configuration. Experimental investigation of the high symmetry systems described here is desirable

The challenge is to see beyond the distraction of the conspicuous to capture its unique self. Some of my subjects are quite magnificent, others less so. It is quite complicated in composition to create a conceptual distinction between kinds of consciousness, transitive state consciousness, intransitive state consciousness, transitive creature consciousness, and intransitive creature consciousness. These are the things that are determined by phenomenal idiosyncratic consciousness in creating artwork for the audience’s appreciation
