Limited visibility cops and robber
No full textWe consider a variation of the Cops and Robber game where the cops can only see the robber when the distance between them is at most a fixed parameter . We consider the basic consequences of this definition for some simple graph families, and show that this model is not monotonic, unlike common models where the robber is invisible. We see that cops’ strategy consists of a phase in which they need to “see” the robber (move within distance of the robber), followed by a phase in which they capture the robber. In some graphs the first phase is the most resource intensive phase (in terms of number of cops needed), while in other graphs, it is the second phase. Finally, we characterize those trees for which cops are sufficient to guarantee capture of the robber for all ℓ≥1

The Experiment was perfomed with a Complete randomizedblock design, with 3 Replicates and 15 scions in each treatment. The Treatments were : A) growth regulator, Comsised of al) without growth regulator, a2) 250 ppm paclobutrazol, a3) 500 ppm paclobut Razol, a4) 1000 ppm paclobutrazol, and B). Storage period, consisted of : b2) 10 days, b2 ) 15 days. b3) 20 days and b4) 25 days Results Ofthe expriment showed that in general the Growth regulator paclobutarol has a possitive Effect on the viability of cashew scions. The Treatments 500 ppm paclobutrazol with 10 Days of storage and 500 ppm paclobutrazol With 25 days of storage, resulted in a 94,82% And 56,29 % succes pf grafiting, respectively
Respon Bibit Tanaman Panili (Vanili Planifora) Terhadap Mikoriza
No full textPenelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Cimanggu, Bali Penelitian Tanaman Rempah dan Obat, Bogor. Penelitian terdiri atas 2 kegiatan. Kegiatan pertama berlangsun selama 2 bulam menggunakan metode kualiatif, bertujuan untuk menguji kompatibiltas mikoriza campuran pada penakaran panili tipe Anggrek dan Gisting pada 2, 3, 4 dan 5 minggu setelah stek 1 ruas panili disemaikan (MS). Kegiatan keua selama 5 bulan, bertujuan untuk meg=nguji perlakuan mikoriza dan pupuk NPT terbaik pada tanaman panili dengan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok, faktorial, 2 faktor dan 4 ulangan. Yaitu tanpa mikoriza (MO) dan 100 g mikoriza campuran/tanaman(MI).Faktor kedua adalah komposisi pupuk NPK yaitu tanpa pupuk (PO), IN:IP:IK (PI) IN:IP:3K (P2), dan IN:2P:3K (P3). Hasil kegitan penelitian pertama menunjukka bahwa mikoriza yang digunakan mempunyai kompatibilitas yang cukup baik terhadap kedua tipe panili dan pada 5 MSS menghasilkan tingkat infeksi perakaran tertinggi. Selain itu, mikoriza yang digunakan kompatibilatasnya lebih tinggi pada perakaran panili tipe Anggrek dibandingkan tipe Gisting. Hasil kegiatan kedua menunjukan perlakuan pupuk NPK dan Interaksinya dengan mikoriza tidk berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diukur. Inokulasi mikoriza campuran nyata meninkatkan tinggi dan jumlah daum bibit panili tipe Gisting (32.4$ dan 20,43%) dibandingkan tanpa mikoriza

No full textSuatu percobaan telah dilaksanakan di rumah atap Kebun Percobaan. Natar sub Balai Penelitian Tanaman Rempah dan Obat di Lampung, mulai bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 1991, dengan tujan untuk mempersingkat waktu penyediaan bahan tanaman di pesermaian. Bahan tanaman yang dipakai adalah tanaman lada var, Belantung, yang rata-rata mempunyai 2 helai daun dan berumur +/- 1 bulan. Rancangan yang dipakai adalah acak lengkap, disusun secara faktorial, dengan 3 ulangan dan 12 tanaman per lakuan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah warna sungkup plastik, terdiri atas a1) tidak berwarna a2) hijau a3) biru a4) merah dan konsentrasi Atonik terdiri atas b1) 0 ppm b2) 250 ppm b3) 500 ppm b4) 750 ppm. Atonik diberikan secara disemprotkan setiap 2 minggu sekali. Parameter yang diamati meliputi jumlah buku. Berat kering tajuk, Volume akar berat kering akar. Hasil Percobaan menunjukan bahwa sungkup plastik yang berwarna merah berpengaruh nyata lebih baik terhadap parameter lainnya tidak nyata, tetapi tanaman dalang sungkup lainnya. Meskipun secara statistik pengaruhnya terhadap parameter lainnya tidak nyata, tetapi tanaman dalam sungkup plastik merah mempunyai nilai yang paling besar. Pengaruh konsentrasi Atonik tidak berbeda nyata terhadap semua parameter. Antara kedua perlakuan yang diuji tidak terdapat efek interaksi yang nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati

No full textDenagan tujuan untuk mengetahui daya adaptasis enam varietas lada terhadap cekaman air, suatu percobaan telah di lakukan di atas Sub Balai Penelitian Tanaman Rempah dan Obat Natar. Mulai 12 Juni 1989 sampai dengan 10 Oktober 1989. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah enam varietas.yaitu Belantung. Kerinci , Lampung Daun Lebar, Lampung Daun Lebar,Lampung Daun Kecil, Jambi dan Kalluvaly, serta tiga tingkat kadar air tanah, yaitu 45,60 dan 75% kapasitas lapang. Percobaan disusun secara factorial dengan meggunakan rancangan acak kelompok , dua ulangan dan enam tanaman per perlakuan. Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah buku, cabang,daun, berat akar, berat tajuk,nisbah berat kering akar/tajuk, laju pertumbuhan relatif dan kadar air relatif.Hasil percobaan menunjukan bahwa pada kadar air 60% kapastas lapang tanaman ladasudah mengalami gangguan fisiologis dan pada 45% kapasitas lapang. Tanaman mengalami cekaman berat. Pengaruh intraksivarietas dengan kadar air tanah terhadap semua parameter tidak berbeda nyata. Meskipun ada kecendrungan bahwa adaptasi varietas terhadap kekurangan air berada pada urutan Jambi,kerinci, Belantung ,Lampung Daun Kecil, Lampung Daun Lebar dan Kalluvally

No full textThe book is an extended commentary on Pushkin’s poem “The Robber Brothers”. The author redefines the poem’s place in Pushkin’s creative biography and provides a detailed line-by-line commentary. This poem by Alexander Pushkin has been considered peripheral among his “Southern Poems”, and therefore researchers have paid little attention to it. The main cause of such lack of consideration was the specific history of the creation of “The Robber Brothers.” Pushkin experimented with constructing a new poem at the intersection of different vectors of genre and style topical for both the poet and literature as a whole. Due to this dynamic tension, the concept of the poem became ambiguous – the choice of the plot composition and narrative methods were not determined. After making several attempts and sketches, Pushkin shortened his initial concept and created an author legend on the genesis of the poem, which was introduced to the first audience of readers as a disconnected fragment of a scattered whole, whereas the plot of the poem was depicted as based on a real event. Within Pushkin’s corpus, “The Robber Brothers” remained primarily a literary monument of the author’s rapid evolution during his “Southern” period. It proved to be an extremely concentrated experiment, ultimately without success

Zenia’s function as the freudian Id in Margaret Atwood’s The Robber Bride
No full textPublished in 1993, Canadian author Margaret Atwood’s The Robber Bride and its divisive main antagonist, Zenia, continue to inspire lively critical discussion. Despite Atwood’s reservations about interpretations rooted in gender binaries, the existing research has primarily focused on Zenia’s status as a woman while overlooking frameworks like Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis, especially his theory of the id, the ego, and the super-ego. Because of this, the thesis aims to demonstrate how Zenia aligns with the Freudian id and examine what this reveals about her function in the novel. The introduction provides a background on the previous reception of The Robber Bride, a brief summary of the novel, and an overview of Atwood’s views on feminist readings of her works. The literature review outlines the three main approaches to analysing Zenia in the previous scholarship and discusses the central concepts of Freud’s psychoanalytic model of the mind. The first three subsections of the empirical study examine excerpts from the novel to provide proof of Zenia functioning as the Freudian id, followed by a comparison of the findings of the id approach to those of previous interpretations of Zenia in the fourth subsection. The conclusion summarises the findings of the thesis.
