Improvise interface design of UTHM academic online resources e-learning system (author) / Azizul Zamri Muhamed Amin
Education is very important especially in these challenging times. Various technologies day by day are growing, also the current educational technology. If in the past the traditional delivery of education there should be a lecturer in front and students listened to what the lecturer presented orally. Now keeping pace with technology education where knowledge is delivered not only in accordance with the timetable in the classroom, but can also be delivered on-line and accessible regardless of time and place restrictions call as blended learning techniques. Blended learning is used to deliver knowledge among technology websites, videos, interactive cd, multimedia equipment and many more. The availability of this technology has triggered a variety of learning techniques such as blended learning. There are so many systems that can can support learning techniques process such as Online Academic Online Resources (AUTHOR), an e-learning system used by UTHM. A learning management system must be developed with creativity and innovative features in terms of interface design and system capability to ensure the effectiveness of the system for lecturers and students. Therefore the purpose of this study is to find out why lecturers and students at the Faculty Of Computer Science and Information Technology, UTHM are not fully utilized this e-learning system (AUTHOR). The findings shows that through the development of a workable prototype with improvise interface design using blended learning concept can be applied in this e-learning system (AUTHOR). Hopefully with this improvised interface design will attract the lecturers and students more to fully utilized this system in the future

Our company, Lelayang Enterprise is a swiftlets farming-base company which acts as the manufacturer and supplier of bird nests. The products that we sell includes Grade A and Grade B bird nests for RM4800/kg and RM 4500/kg respectively to our customers. The price for our products are according to the market price and we do not include any exaggeration when deciding the price. The business location for the company is at Setia Raja, Bandar Baru Mukah, 96400, Mukah Sarawak while our bird house is located at Kampung Tellian Ulu. We chose both of the locations mainly due to its strategic location which may contribute more to our profits. The operating hour will be at 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays. There are for (4) managers that are operating the business according to their own tasks and responsibilities. The general manager as well as administrative manager for the business will be Ms. Elyka Bt Zamri. Next is Mr Mohd Elafrizal Bin Abd Hamid as the marketing manager and Ms. Caroline Joyce Ak Sudin as the operational manager. Lastly, we have Mr Muhd Nur Hakim Bin Hamdi as the financial manager. We sell our products to the public through agents, retailers or wholesalers. The middlemen will contribute the products to the end users or other companies that need it. We also market our products to customers by using different strategy which includes price strategy, promotion strategy, distribution strategy and product or service strategy
Secondary metabolites from Calophyllum gracilentum / Nur Adibah Zamri @ Mohd Zamri
Chemical study of medicinally significant plant secondary metabolites resulted in the discovering of various beneficial compounds that will be further studied for their pharmacological activities. The process involves extraction, isolation, purification and structural elucidation of compounds isolated from plants. The Calophyllum gracilentum species is still not adequately documented on its chemical constituents and biological activities. In this study, the stem bark of Calophyllum gracilentum was subjected to solvent extraction using hexane. The hexane crude extract was subsequently isolated and purified using column chromatography and radial chromatography to obtain pure compounds. A xanthone, brasixanthone B (15) was successfully isolated from the hexane crude extract. The structure of the compound was characterized based on physical appearance, melting point and elucidation through spectroscopic methods (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR). The structural assignment was further confirmed by matching the data with the previous study. Next, the methanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, and hexane crude extracts of C. gracilentum were studied for their antioxidant potential via Total Phenolic Content (TPC), Total Flavonoid Content (TFC), and DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) Free Radical Scavenging assay. The methanolic and ethyl acetate extract exhibited high TPC at 93.89 and 162.93 mg GAE/g, respectively, and TFC at 74.55 and 158.47 mg QE/g, respectively. The IC50 value of methanol fraction (7.62 μg/mL) showed comparable, but less potent antioxidant activity with positive control ascorbic acid (4.97 μg/mL) followed by ethyl acetate extract (8.10 μg/mL). Therefore, the methanolic and ethyl acetate extract has a higher free radical scavenging ability than other extracts. The findings of the study support the traditional medicinal uses of these plant extracts. With the extracts having good antioxidant properties, they could be used for the potential development of antioxidant herbal formulations

Taking Malaysia as an example, Belief in God is the first pillar of the Rukunegara. The existence of Allah and HIS blessings are eternity. Nothing precedes HIS existence, greatness, majesty, and the existence of Allah lasts forever. Praise be to Allah who is endowed with all the attributes of perfection. HE is the one who initiates the creation of beings and restores them. HE does whatever HE wants. HE is the owner of the glorious authority and the proprietor of a very severe torment, as well as the guide of the chosen servant to the straight path.The interpretation of this work gives more awareness to remember Allah in any agenda of life other than inviting people to return to their original axis again which is increasingly careless with oneself. Analisis Perlakuan Akuntansi Produk Rusak Dalam Menetapkan Harga Pokok Produksi Pada CV Zamri Medan
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan
data yang digunakan adalah melalui wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data
yang digunakan yaitu data primer yang diperoleh dengan wawancara langsung dan
data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen berkaitan. Hasil penelitian pada CV Zamri
Medan didapati adanya produk rusak yang bersifat laku dijual. Perlakuan akuntansi
terhadap produk rusak pada CV Zamri Medan tidak dicatat dan juga tidak
dilaporkan dalam laporan harga pokok produksi, sedangkan menurut konsep
akuntansi biaya pelaporan produk rusak dilaporkan ke dalam laporan harga pokok
produksi sebagai pengurang biaya overhead pabrik.
Saran sebaiknya perusahaan harus mengakui penjualan produk rusak sebagai
pengurang biaya overhead pabrik agar perhitungan harga pokok produksi menjadi
lebih rendah sehingga laba yang diperoleh lebih tinggi. Perusahaan juga harus lebih
menerapkan quality control khususnya dibagian proses produksi dan lebih hati-hati
dalam proses finishing sehingga meminimalkan terjadinya kerusakan produk
The influence of particle sizes and compaction pressure on surface hardness of aluminum composite fabricated via powder metallurgy
Link to publisher's homepage at http://insipub.com/A statistical analysis was used to anticipate the influence of particles sizes and compaction pressure on surface hardness of aluminum composites after compacted in a rigid die under an uniaxial compaction. Al-20 wt.% slag powder mixtures with various particle sizes (38μm to 212μm) were prepared and their compressibility was studied in a wide range of compaction pressure up to 300 MPa. All of compacted specimens were sintered at 500°C for 2hrs. The surface hardness of each sintered specimens was measured by using Vikers Macrohardness. The outcomes of the statistical analysis are predicted by using linear or nonlinear correlation. A direct correlation between compaction pressure and surface hardness of composites was noticed. The correlation between particle sizes and surface hardness are in positive quadratic relationship. It can be concluded that the particle size and compaction pressure significantly influence the surface hardness of aluminum composite
