Enhancing the Efficiency of FTO/ZnO Nanorods/P3HT/Ag Hybrid Solar Cells by Sensitizing CdS Quantum Dots
An improvement in the performance of the inverted organic solar cells based on zinc
oxide/ poly(3-hexylthiophene)(ZnO/P3HT) is modified by deposited cadmium sulfide
quantum dots (CdS QDs) were prepared via successive ionic-layer adsorption and
reaction (SILAR) on ZnO nanorods (ZNRs). The size of CdS QDs on the ZNRs surface
was controlled when the QDs were prepared from the varied concentrations of precursor
solutions (0.01,0.05 and 0.10) M using 5 SILAR cycles of deposition for 5 min in each
solution. The results of photocurrent-voltage (I-V) measurement showed that CdS
modification first can improve all photovoltaic parameters and increase the power
conversion efficiency of the hybrid solar cells and then decreased as the concentration of
precursor solutions increased. A maximum power conversion efficiency (PCE) of
0.52% was obtained for the CdS QDs at the concentration of 0.05 M, which was increased
almost three times compared with the solar cell without using CdS QDs. Open circuit
voltage (Voc) and short circuit current (Jsc) improved with increasing concentration of
precursor solutions up on 0.05 M, which can reduce charge carrier recombination in the
interface between ZNRs and P3HT after deposit CdS QDs

Gaya bahasa larangan: satu kajian kontrastif antara bahasa Arab dengan bahasa Melayu / Fauzi Azmi, Muhamad Zaidi Zakaria and Saiful Johari Musahar
Ayat larangan terdapat dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Melayu. Dalam bahasa Arab perbincangan ayat larangan sehingga mencapai ke tahap wacana yang melibatkan gaya bahasa dan stilistik. Sementara ayat larangan dalam bahasa Melayu dibincangkan pada tahap struktur ayat atau dalam kerangka sintaksis. Sedangan pada realiti dan penggunaan ayat perintah bahasa Melayu juga terdapat unsur-unsur yang mencapai perbincangan di tahap wacana. Justeru kajian kontrastif ini diaplikasi untuk mengenal pasti persamaan dan perbezaan gaya bahasa perintah dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Melayu Kajian linguistik kontrastif diaplikasikan bagi memudahkan pengajaran, pembelajaran dan penterjemahan bahasa bahasa kedua. Kajian ini merupakan kajian perpustakaan, kajian deskriptif dan anal isis kontras berdasarkan teori Transformasi Generatif (TG). Objektif kajian ialah untuk memaparkan aspek persamaan dan perbezaan dalam kedua-dua bahasa ini bagi membantu para pelajar untuk menguasai topik ini dengan lebih efisyen dan efektif. Dapatan kajian menjelaskan terdapat 13 persamaan dan lapan perbezaan gaya bahasa perintah dalam kedua-dua bahasa ini

Proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) seems to be a popular option as a green energy carrier due to its high efficiency and pollutant-free operation. However, the slight temperature difference between the working temperature and surroundings requires innovation in cooling strategy. Active thermal management strategy is limited due to the larger space requirement. Alternatively, utilizing nanofluids as coolant as the passive cooling strategy tends to be a viable quick fix. In this research, thermophysical properties of Al₂O₃:SiO₂ hybrid nanofluids in the base fluid of water: Ethylene Glycol (EG) were discussed comprehensively concerning alterations made in thermal conductivity, dynamic viscosity, and electrical conductivity properties. There were four mixture ratios of 0.5% volume concentration of hybrid nanofluids considered ranging from 10:90, 30:70, 50:50, and 70:30 Al₂O₃:SiO₂. Upon completion of the study, there is an improvement of 9.8% shown in 10:90 Al₂O₃:SiO₂ hybrid nanofluids for thermal conductivity measured at 60'C in comparison to the base fluid. Meanwhile, 10:90 Al₂O₃:SiO₂ hybrid nanofluids are also favorable with the lowest values of viscosity as compared to other mixture ratios resulting in lower parasitic loss. Electrical conductivity on the other hand also showed an increment in 10:90 Al₂O₃:SiO₂ hybrid nanofluids
as compared to base fluid and other mixture ratios
