Mobilite De Service Entre Abomey-Calavi Et Cotonou Au Benin
Get PDFRésuméLa mobilité des hommes, des biens et de l’information est une condition nécessaire de développement des activités économiques. Le présent travail vise à analyser la mobilité de service entre Abomey et Cotonou.L’approche méthodologique utilisée est basée sur la collecte des données, leur traitement et l’analyse des résultats. La recherche documentaire et les enquêtes de terrain ont été les techniques de collecte de données. Le questionnaire, le guide d’entretien ont été les outils utilisés pour la collecte des données. 148 ménages ont été enquêtés. L’analyse des résultats a été faite par le modèle SWOT.Les résultats des enquêtes montrent que 38% des usagers enquêtés possèdent au moins un véhicule qui leur assure la mobilité entre Abomey-Calavi et Cotonou. Ce taux est de 26% pour ceux qui possèdent 2 véhicules, soit 12% de moins que la première catégorie. Les propriétaires de 3 véhicules sont 23% alors que ceux de 4 véhicules font 4% de l’ensemble des enquêtés. Les fonctionnaires d’Etat occupent chaque jour le réseau routier pour 42% suivi des fonctionnaires du privé avec 33%. Il faut remarquer que ces deux catégories font plus de la moitié de l’effectif soit 75% des enquêtés. Ensuite, il y a les artisans avec 8%, les fonctionnaires libéraux (6%), les opérateurs économiques représentent 4%, les étudiants 2% et enfin catégorie autres fait 5 %. Dans cette catégorie, il s’agit des usagers qui effectuent les longs voyages, les mobilités pour loisir, santé mais qui partagent les mêmes réseaux routiers avec les autres catégories socio-professionnelles à chaque fois.Mots clés : Abomey-Calavi ; Cotonou ; usager ; mobilité ; population.AbstractThe mobility of people, goods and information is a necessary condition for the development of economic activities. This work aims to analyze the service mobility between Abomey-Calavi and Cotonou.The methodological approach used is based on the collection of data, their processing and the analysis of the results. Documentary research and field surveys were the data collection techniques. The questionnaire and the interview guide were the tools used for data collection. 148 households were surveyed. The analysis of the results was made by the SWOT model.The results of the surveys show that 38% of the users surveyed own at least one vehicle that provides mobility between Abomey-Calavi and Cotonou. This rate is 26% for those who own 2 vehicles, 12% less than the first category. The owners of 3 vehicles are 23% while those of 4 vehicles make up 4% of all respondents. State civil servants occupy the road network every day for 42% followed by private sector civil servants with 33%. It should be noted that these two categories make up more than half of the workforce according to 75% of respondents. Then there are craftsmen with 8%, liberal civil servants (6%), economic operators represent 4%, students 2% and finally others up to 5%. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
