No full textProlific author of collections of short stories, microstories and novels, Manuel Moyano has developed over the years a narrative universe characterized by a disenchanted vision of reality and a clear writing in constant balance between a realist representation of facts and the creation of dystopian worlds.This study aims to analyze how Moyano builds worlds parallel to ours starting from the three different literary genres mentioned above: in particular, some passages from the novel El imperio de Yegorov (2014) will be analysed as well as some stories from the collection Los Reinos de Otrora (2019) and some microstories from the Teatro de ceniza collection (2011). Through the creation of these dystopian worlds, Manuel Moyano also elaborates a constant philosophical reflection on time as an unsolvable enigma and as a supporting element of the chronotopes of these different fictitious universes.Autore prolifico di raccolte di racconti, microracconti e romanzi, Manuel Moyano ha elaborato nel corso degli anni un universo narrativo caratterizzato da una visione disincantata della realtà e da una scrittura limpida in costante equilibrio tra una rappresentazione realista dei fatti e la creazione di mondi distopici in cui l’elemento sovrannaturale e fantastico occupano il primo piano.
L’obbiettivo di questo studio consiste nell’analizzare in che modo l’autore costruisce mondi paralleli al nostro a partire dai tre diversi generi letterari succitati: in particolare, verranno analizzati alcuni brani del romanzo El imperio de Yegorov (2014), opera finalista del prestigioso “Premio Herralde de Novela” e scritta “senza narratore” a partire dai documenti che i presunti editori hanno raccolto in un testo che va dal 1968 al 2042; alcuni racconti della raccolta Los Reinos de Otrora (2019); alcuni microracconti della raccolta Teatro de ceniza (2011). Attraverso la creazione di questi mondi distopici Manuel Moyano elabora anche una costante riflessione filosofica sul tempo, in quanto enigma irrisolvibile e in quanto elemento portante dei cronotopi di questi diversi universi fittizi
Exile in the novels of Daniel Moyano
No full textThis study focuses on various kinds of exile in the novels of the Argentine writer, Daniel Moyano, exiled to Spain since 1976. It consists of an introduction, five chapters, and a conclusion. The chapters coincide with each of Moyano's five novels in the order of the novels' publication dates.
Chapter I explores inner (psychological) exile in Una luz muy lejana as affording the protagonist, Ismael, a means of self-discovery. It includes a Jungian analysis of the symbols £ind motifs indicative of the process of individuation. The second chapter likewise employs a Jungian approach to inner exile. Attention is focused on psychological and moral traits of Victor, the army colonel portrayed in El oscuro, and his neurotic state brought on by a sociopolitical occurrence. Chapter 3 treats internal exile (ostracism) in the short, allegorical novel, El trino del diablo. It examines the sociopolitical ambience that engenders the marginalization of societal groups--in this case, artists. The fourth chapter studies the trajectory of internal exile in El vuelo del tigre. It analyzes the rhetoric, imagery, and symbolism employed by
Moyano which substantiate the violent essence and various stages of a provincial family's internal exile. The last chapter describes characteristics of literature of exile in Libro de navios y borrascas, Moyano's first novel to be entirely produced in exile. Focus is directed toward the novel as autobiographical fiction. Also analyzed are themes on time experience sind the question of return.
The author concludes that the various types of exile in Moyano's novels are a reflection of Argentine reality as the result of a lifelong scenario of alienation. Moyano's territorial exile, in his own words, is merely an externalization of the metaphysical exile that has plagued him all his life. His novels exhibit a progression of exile that coincides with his own experiences, thereby exploring the contemporary Argentine's search for identity in a morally decaying society and the exile's pursuit of self-realization

Exhumación informática en el Archivo de Daniel Moyano. Una reflexión sobre soportes, materialidades y el devenir de originales y borradores
No full textThis paper addresses central notions concerning writer’s archives, based on an experiment conducted
in the Daniel Moyano Virtual Archive: the recovery of texts from an outdated computing device. These
texts were preserved by Moyano in a storage media inaccessible for present times, and were recovered in
a joint effort between the CRLA-Archives (France) and the National University of Cordoba (Argentina).
From a hermeneutical perspective, computer exhumation of these documents allowed us to articulate
the genesis of the author ́s processes of fictionalization -not restricted to texts considered literary at first
glance- with a socio-technical interrogation about these practices. This has inspired questions about the
transformation of role of technique, particularly in the relation between art and societyEl trabajo aborda nociones centrales en torno a los archivos de escritores a partir de una experiencia llevada a cabo en el Archivo Virtual Daniel Moyano: la recuperación de textos a partir de un dispositivo informático obsoleto. Textos que Moyano conservó en soportes de almacenamiento hoy inaccesibles y que logramos recuperar, en un trabajo conjunto entre el CRLA-Archivos (Francia) y la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (Argentina). Desde un enfoque hermenéutico, la exhumación informática permitió articular con estos documentos la génesis de los procesos de ficcionalización del autor, no restringidos a textos que podrían pensarse a primera vista como literarios, con una reflexión sociotécnica sobre esas prácticas, que ha inspirado interrogantes sobre cómo ha mutado el lugar de la técnica en la relación entre arte y sociedad.

No full textThe archive of Argentine writer Daniel Moyano (Buenos Aires, 1930-Madrid, 1992) became known in 2009, when a group of researchers supported by the Centre de Recherches Latino- américaines / Archivos (Université de Poitiers) accessed the house in Madrid where the author spent his last years,. They explored a treasure that had been hidden from academic and cultural world for over 17 years. Moyano’s work is distinguished by a creative power of multiple edges, and with wealth and curiosities, it is the result of a singular experiential itinerary, nurtured by many trades. Moyano has been a dislocated writer in many ways. Misplaced by the diverse experiences of exile that he have lived, and by symbolic places which he occupied and left related with the publishing market and, therefore, with the public. The writers’ archives are valuable because they favor the dialogue between works already published and those aspects of the work that remain hidden in privacy. They contain information of the genesis of texts, in the form of drafts, manuscripts, digital versions, etc., showing the vacillations of the writing process from a particular work or a set of works. But usually there are other documents that account for the writer›s civil and personal life, which testify their passage through the world and connecting them in a singular way with their time.El archivo del escritor argentino Daniel Moyano (Buenos Aires, 1930-Madrid, 1992) comenzó a conocerse en 2009, cuando un grupo de investigadores con el apoyo del Centre de Recherches Latino-américaines / Archivos de la Université de Poitiers accedió a la casa en la que el autor pasó sus últimos años, en la ciudad de Madrid. Allí se exploró un tesoro escondido para el mundo académico y cultural por casi 17 años. La obra de Moyano se distingue por una potencia creativa de múltiples aristas, que con todas sus riquezas y curiosidades ha sido el resultado de un singular recorrido experiencial, nutrido de muchos oficios. Moyano ha sido un escritor descolocado, en varios sentidos; fuera de lugar por las diversas experiencias de exilio y desarraigo que le tocaron vivir, y por lugares simbólicos que ocupó y dejó en relación al mercado editorial y por tanto al público. Los archivos de escritores son valiosos porque propician el diálogo entre obras publicadas y aquellos aspectos del trabajo que permanecen ocultos en la intimidad. Contienen información clave de la génesis de los textos bajo la forma de borradores, manuscritos, dactiloscritos, versiones digitales que permiten asistir a las vacilaciones del proceso de escritura de una obra en particular o de un conjunto de obras. No full textEl escritor argentino Daniel Moyano, en su novela póstuma Donde estás con tus ojos celestes (2005), retoma nuevamente la temática del expatriado. Recurre a la alegoría del viaje y la búsqueda -amorosa y existencial del protagonista-, en cuyo derrotero la música aporta las proximidades de lo conocido. Las intertextualidades literarias y musicales, que articulan la novela, reconstruyen así un mosaico de significaciones que posibilita un desplazamiento de la percepción política del exilio hacia una recuperación íntima del recuerdo.The Argentine writer Daniel Moyano, in his posthumous novel Donde estás con tus ojos celestes (2005), revises the emigrant thematic. The author resorts to the allegory of trip and search –main character’s love and existential search–, where the music brings the closeness of acquaintance. The novel is articulated by literary and musical intertextualities, reconstructing in this way a mosaic of meanings; thus, it is possible a displacement of the political perception of the exile towards an intimate recovery of the memory.L’écrivain argentin Daniel Moyano reprend, dans son roman posthume Dónde estás con tus ojos celestes (2005), la thématique de l’expatrié. No full textEl oscuro de Daniel Moyano, novela publicada en 1968 y distinguida por un jurado que integraban Roa Bastos, Leopoldo Marechal y Gabriel García Márquez, tiene como protagonista al coronel Víctor, el oscuro, quien cumple sus funciones durante la dictadura militar de Onganía y mantiene una relación conflictiva con su hijo, donde la violencia política forma parte de escenario que necesita el autor para escribir sobre una lucha íntima y personal. El análisis de esta novela pretende dinamizar algunos de los conceptos sobre violencia esbozados por Walter Benjamin y relacionarlos con la noción de familia considerada una categoría política que comprende el círculo móvil que relaciona lo subjetivo y privado y lo público y social, como lo entiende Amado y Domínguez. Apoyándonos en la formulación de Reyes Mate cuando afirma que Benjamin, ante la presencia del triunfador, considera que se debe penetrar en sus filas y tomar el secreto de su poder, procuraremos demostrar que Daniel Moyano –al retomar los argumentos esgrimidos desde el discurso militar para justificar y de esta forma legitimar su intervención violenta sobre la sociedad civil en el contexto del golpe de estado de 1955– se interna en el laberinto de ese paranoico castrense para mirarlo desde dentro, es decir, para hacerse con las bases que lo sustentan.ABSTRACTEl Oscuro (the Dark Man) by Daniel Moyano, a novel published in 1968 and awarded a prize by a jury composed of writers Roa Bastos, Leopoldo Marechal and Gabriel García Márquez, features Colonel Víctor (el Oscuro) as the main character who performs his duties during Onganía’s military dictatorship and undergoes a troubled relationship with his son. Within this context, political violence forms part of the setting that the author needs to write about an intimate and personal struggle. The analysis of this novel aims to sharpen some of the concepts about violence outlined by Walter Benjamin in his essay “Towards a Critique of Violence” and relate them to the notion of family classified as a political category that, according to Amado and Dominguez, “comprises the moving circle drawn between the personal and private world and the public and social sphere”. Based on Reyes Mate’s words that state that Benjamin, due to “the winner’s presence”, considers it necessary to “infiltrate his ranks and steal the secret of his power”, we will try to prove that Daniel Moyano, by reintroducing the arguments of military discourse used to justify and legitimize the violent intervention on civil society during the 1955 coup d’etat, becomes immersed in the labyrinth of this paranoid army to observe it from within and procure the foundation that sustains it.Key words: family, power, violence, personal and private, public and social
Los indicadores de sosteniblidad de los municipios españoles: Una propuesta metodológica a la vista de su evolución entre 2002-2015
No full textThe use of indicators is usual in many fields of knowledge as a tool for assessment of the
phenomena under study. In the field of sustainability, they already appear in works as
Blueprint for Survival or Our Common Future, when the real possibilities of the planet are
intended. But, it is not until the Declaration of Rio and the subsequent Conference of Aalborg
in the European context, when the idea of assessing the European cities through a set of
specific indicators takes place.
This communication assesses the state of the art of the municipal sustainability indicators
from a triple approach. First, deals with the concept of indicators according to works of
Hernández Aja, the Observatory of Sustainability in Spain, Antequera and Carrera, Salvador
Rueda, Zavadskas and Ester Higueras, and proposed a classification based on the proposal
of the last author. Then described how the initial vagueness of the concept of sustainability
that recognize Hernández Aja o Naredo work has been overcome with the adoption of the
different municipal catalogues of indicators of sustainability. Finally, there is the evolution
experienced by these indicators in Spain by the analysis of the Juan de Herrera Institute
study on indicators of sustainability in the Spanish municipalities published in 2003, and the
proposals for indicators of urban environment of Andalucía and other autonomous
communities, the European Environment Agency, the United Nations Urban Settlements
programme, UN-HABITAT. From the national level, it has been taken the necessary
references to the proposals of the Network of Networks of Local Sustainable Development,
the National Institute of Statistic and the Observatory of Sustainability in Spain. And at the
local level, the proposals of the municipalities of Málaga, Sevilla and Victoria-Gasteiz.
As a final conclusion, a methodological proposal is set to respond to the need to assess the
different European, national and autonomic strategies of sustainability through the definition
of a group catalogues of municipal sustainability indicators.El empleo de indicadores es frecuente en numerosos campos de conocimiento como
herramienta de evaluación de los fenómenos objeto de estudio. En el ámbito de la
sostenibilidad, ya aparecen en un primer momento en trabajos como el Manifiesto para la
supervivencia o Nuestro futuro común, cuando se pretende valorar las posibilidades reales
del planeta. Pero no es hasta la Declaración de Río y la posterior Conferencia de Aalborg en
el contexto europeo, cuando la idea de evaluar las ciudades europeas mediante un conjunto
de indicadores específicos toma cuerpo.
En esta comunicación se evalúa el estado del arte de los indicadores de sostenibilidad
municipales desde un triple enfoque. Primero, se aborda el concepto de indicador conforme
a los trabajos de Hernández Aja, el Observatorio de la Sostenibilidad en España, Antequera
y Carrera, Salvador Rueda, Zavadskas y Ester Higueras, y se propone una clasificación a
partir de la propuesta de la última autora. A continuación, se expone cómo la indefinición
inicial del concepto de sostenibilidad que reconocen los trabajos de Hernández Aja o Naredo
se ha superado con la adopción de los diferentes catálogos municipales de indicadores de
sostenibilidad. Finalmente, se presenta la evolución que han experimentado estos
indicadores en España mediante el análisis del estudio de Instituto Juan de Herrera sobre
los indicadores de sostenibilidad en los municipios españoles publicado en 2003, y las
propuestas de indicadores de medioambiente urbano de Andalucía y otras comunidades
autónomas, la Agencia Europea de Medio Ambiente, el Programa de Naciones Unidas para
los Asentamientos Urbanos, UN-HABITAT. Desde el ámbito nacional se han adoptado las
referencias necesarias a las propuestas la Red de Redes de Desarrollo Local Sostenible, el
Instituto Nacional de Estadística y el Observatorio de la Sostenibilidad en España. Y en el
ámbito local, a las propuestas de los municipios de Málaga, Sevilla y Victoria-Gasteiz.
Como conclusión final, se establece una propuesta metodológica para dar respuesta a la
necesidad de valorar las diferentes estrategias europeas, nacionales y autonómicas de
sostenibilidad mediante la definición de una serie de catálogos de municipales de
indicadores de sostenibilidad
Revelations of file: written readings in the "Three hits of timbal" novel (Daniel Moyano, 1989)
No full textEste trabajo propone un recorrido en torno al proceso redaccional de la novela Tres golpes de timbal de Daniel Moyano, que fue objeto de un estudio crítico-genético cuyo resultado fue la edición del volumen 64 de la Colección Archivos del CRLA. El material referido a la novela que el autor conservó es tan extenso y complejo como su resultado escriturario. Está conformado por aproximadamente 2.500 documentos, entre los que se encuentran, además de dactiloscritos y manuscritos de inestimable valor filológico-genético, carpetas, cuadernos y blocs de hojas con anotaciones, apuntes, reflexiones, pruebas de tonos del autor que van desde la reflexión sobre el proceso de escritura hasta apuntes de lectura, en general relacionados con otras obras consideradas “fundacionales” para su idea primigenia. Ese repertorio de apuntes, comentarios y menciones aisladas, también relacionados con otros tópicos de la novela como la fauna andina, la geografía y la astronomía, ha permitido, en el trabajo genético, acceder a las huellas y marcas del Moyano lector, tan importantes para la obra como la dilucidación del proceso redaccional. Este trabajo pone el foco en el acopio documental realizado por el autor sobre el cóndor, ave andina que forma parte de la construcción del locus de la narración, y da cuenta del procedimiento poético por el cual los documentos de lectura se incorporan, transfigurados, en la textura narrativa.This paper proposes a tour around the writing process of the novel Tres golpes de timbal by Daniel Moyano, that was the object of a critical-genetic study which resulted in the 64-volume edition of the Archives Collection of CRLA. The novel’s material retained by the author was so vast and complex as its scriptural result. It is composed of approximately 2500 documents, which are, besides manuscripts of inestimable philological genetic value, folders, notebooks and pads of sheets with notes, reflections and tests ranging from reflections about the writing process, to notes of general reading related to other works considered "founding" for his original idea. That repertoire of notes, comments and isolated mentions, also related to other topics of the novel as the Andes fauna, geography and astronomy, has allowed, in the genetic work,to accessthe tracks and marks of Moyano as a reader, as important for the project as the elucidation of the editorial process. This work is focused on the documentary collection made by the author about on the condor, native bird from Los Andes, that is part of the construction of the narrative locus, and illustrate the poetic procedure by which reading documents are incorporated in the narrative texture.Fil: Vigna, Diego Germán.
