To answer this question we estimate a version of the Burdett-Mortensen search equilibrium model and analyze how workers’ search behaviour responded to these reforms. We try both nonparametric and fully-parametric estimation methods and identify the cases in which the nonparametric approach cannot be applied. We find that the entitlement reforms are largely responsible for the increase of unemployment among unskilled workers

Peculiarities of relief formation under InP surface sputtering will argon ions and atoms
No full textProcesses of relief formation on indium phosphide under sputtering by ion and atomic argon beam have been investigated. It is shown that depending on argon beam power density and target temperature the surface morphology formed can be either 'grass' or 'cone-in-pit' type. A quality model of surface morphology changing has been presented. The obtained results permit to explain the phenomenon of the morphology type variation.

Alexandrov graduated from 2nd Moscow Medical Institute in 1971. In 1979 finished his PhD and in 1989 his doctoral research on topic ?Hormonal regulation and carbohydrate metabolism in patients with heart attack?. From 1999 to present time was the Chief of cardiology department at Endocrinology Research Centre. Alexandrov is the author of more than 420 publications, he supervised 13 PhDs and 1 doctoral research. We will remember him as a high level professional, great scientist, talented teacher and charming person.

Meanwhile, even in Russia, let alone abroad, many aspects of Kiselev’s life are little known. Their study facilitates a better understanding of the complicated nature of the development of Russian and Soviet mathematics education, including the connection between them and seemingly distant social-political issues. Programming Model to Develop Supercomputer Combinatorial Solvers
Get PDFNovel architectures for massively parallel machines offer better scalability and the prospect of achieving linear speedup for sizable problems in many domains. The development of suitable programming models and accompanying software tools for these architectures remains one of the biggest challenges towards exploiting their full potential. We present a multi-layer software abstraction model to develop combinatorial solvers on massively-parallel machines with regular topologies. The model enables different challenges in the design and optimization of combinatorial solvers to be tackled independently (separation of concerns) while permitting problem-specific tuning and cross-layer optimization. In specific, the model decouples the issues of inter-node communication, node-level scheduling, problem mapping, mesh-level load balancing and expressing problem logic. We present an implementation of the model and use it to profile a Boolean satisfiability solver on simulated massively-parallel machines with different scales and topologies

The author was only interested in monuments which would document the city’s connections to Russia and Orthodox Christianity.
