Room temperature broadband polariton lasing from a dye‐filled microcavity
A material system is proposed to generate polariton lasing at room temperature over a broad spectral range. The system developed is based on a boron‐dipyrromethene fluorescent dye (BODIPY‐G1) that is dispersed into a polystyrene matrix and used as the active layer of a strongly coupled microcavity. It is shown that the BODIPY‐G1 exciton polaritons undergo nonlinear emission over a broad range of exciton–cavity mode detuning in the green‐yellow portion of the visible spectrum, with polariton lasing achieved over a spectral range spanning 33 nm. The recorded linewidth of ≈0.1 nm corresponds to a condensate coherence lifetime of ≈1 ps. It is proposed that similar effects can be anticipated using a range of molecular dyes in the BODIPY family; a result that paves the way for tunable polariton devices over the visible and near‐infrared spectral region
Analisis Kepuasan Pengguna E-Learning pada Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jawa Timur Menggunakan Model Kano
E-learning is a distance learning method without having to meet face to face. Because in conventional learning there are often problems with limited time, distance, and costs, particurally due to the current pandemic. UPN Veteran Jawa Timur has implemented the e-learning information system in teaching and learning activities. The involvement of users in accessing the web utilizing information system technology will determine the success of the quality of the system and information applied. The researcher conducted a literature study related to the research. Among them are E-learning, Kano Model, and quantitative research methods. Respondent data were collected using the "Simple Random Sampling" method. Data collection was carried out in this study by indirectly distributing questionnaires. The attributes of the questionnaire were identified using the Kano method to determine the level of user satisfaction with the E-learning system at UPN Veteran Jawa Timur. In this research questionnaire, there are 29 attribute questions with the results of 7 attributes that according to respondents are satisfactory, and 14 attributes according to respondents including dissatisfaction. It was found that the one-dimensional category was still included in the dissatisfaction quadrant where this category greatly influenced user satisfaction. The suggestions that the author can suggest are to pay attention to the attributes that fall into the one-dimensional and must-be categories, especially for the high value of dissatisfaction. For a high satisfaction value, the author suggests that it should be maintained, and it is better if these attributes are developed by paying attention to user satisfaction

Efficient light harvesting in hybrid quantum dot-interdigitated back contact solar cells via resonant energy transfer and luminescent downshifting
In this paper, we propose a hybrid quantum dot (QD)/solar cell configuration to improve performance of interdigitated back contact (IBC) silicon solar cells, resulting in 39.5% relative boost in the short-circuit current (JSC) through efficient utilisation of resonant energy transfer (RET) and luminescent downshifting (LDS). A uniform layer of CdSe1−xSx/ZnS quantum dots is deposited onto the AlOx surface passivation layer of the IBC solar cell. QD hybridization is found to cause a broadband improvement in the solar cell external quantum efficiency. Enhancement over the QD absorption wavelength range is shown to result from LDS. This is confirmed by significant boosts in the solar cell internal quantum efficiency (IQE) due to the presence of QDs. Enhancement over the red and near-infrared spectral range is shown to result from the anti-reflection properties of the QD layer coating. A study on the effect of QD layer thickness on solar cell performance was performed and an optimised QD layer thickness was determined. Time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) spectroscopy was used to investigate the photoluminescence dynamics of the QD layer as a function of AlOx spacer layer thickness. RET can be evoked between the QD and Si layers for very thin AlOx spacer layers, with RET efficiencies of up to 15%. In the conventional LDS architecture, down-converters are deposited on the surface of an optimised anti-reflection layer, providing relatively narrowband enhancement, whereas the QDs in our hybrid architecture provide optical enhancement over the broadband wavelength range, by simultaneously utilising LDS, RET-mediated carrier injection, and antireflection effects, resulting in up to 40% improvement in the power conversion efficiency (PCE). Low-cost synthesis of QDs and simple device integration provide a cost-effective solution for boosting solar cell performance
VALUES OF A. GAIDAR’S HEROES (“TIMUR AND HIS TEAM”)
The purpose of the article is to show values of A. Gaidar’s heroes as a system and prove that its
roots can be found in pre-revolutionary culture. Such approach helps to disclose deep connection of author’s
works with Russian classical literature. The novel “Timur and his team” became the object for analysis as it
has seriously influenced behavioral strategies of teens. The analysis of the work in the aspect of axiology
helps to overcome ideological approach to estimating Gaidar’s art. Such guidelines as living in team, doing
good things, saving world from injustice, labour as happiness are pointed out. Special accent is made on
depicting episodes of Timur’s team help to the inhabitants of the village, the structure of such episodes is
carefully studied. It is shown that help is being planned as a military operation, which results in actions
being coordinated and swift, also pointed out methods, which helped Gaidar achieve dynamism, swiftness
in these episodes: lack of detailed descriptions, the predominance of verbs, a vivid comparison, a curious ending. As a result work is
presented not as exhausting, but hard and joyful occupation. Also several principles of creating Timur’s team members are characterised: the author uses telling surnames, gives his heroes a stable portrait feature, a special manner of speech. The main conclusion of the
article is that Gaidar finds the origins of new soviet culture in old, pre-revolutionary culture, that’s why in his novel a lot of references
to key works of Russian literature (e.g. to Gogol’s “Taras Bulba”, Pushkin’s “Capitain’s Daughter”) and art (Repin’s painting “Cossaks
of Zaporozhye write a letter to the Turkish sultan) can be found, the usage of symbolic character images (ravine, garden, chapel with
the pictures of hell) is marked. Gaidar brings back traditional values, which were abandoned in the era of revolutionary reorganisation
of society, but fills them with new, actual for his time ideas. The conclusions of the article may be used in the practise of teaching in
schools and universities

Internship (Praktik Kerja Lapangan or PKL) is defined as a platform for students to implement the knowledge they have acquired during their studies in a company over a period of several months. The author carried out the internship at Telkom Regional V, located at Jl. Dr. Ir. H. Soekarno, Klampis Ngasem, Sukolilo District, Surabaya City, East Java 60116. The internship lasted for one month, specifically from July 11, 2022, to August 11, 2022, during which the author addressed various issues within the company.
The author was placed in the Planning, Engineering & Deployment (PED) division, which is responsible for supervising the company's infrastructure by designing and implementing system plans to monitor overall progress. During the internship, the author worked on designing an information system developed by Telkom itself, namely Vestyna and Religius. These applications were created without prior design, whereas ideally, application design should be the first step to ensure the development process is efficient.
The author had previously studied the design of use case diagrams, flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and graphical user interfaces in earlier semesters, which helped in understanding how the applications functioned. The author was also mentored directly by the developer of the applications, allowing for discussion when encountering new or difficult concepts.
Therefore, during the internship at Telkom Regional V, it can be concluded that in developing an information system, the first and most crucial step is thorough planning and design. This helps ensure efficiency in the application development process and reduces the risk of extended development time due to poor initial planning. The author also gained insights into how an application is created, from the initial design stage to implementation
