Collective Improvisation: The Practice and Vision of Ingemar Lindh
Ingemar Lindh's research on the principles of collective improvisation and performance conceived as process announce an important development in the 20th-century tradition of the actor's work. After early studies with Étienne Decroux and working collaborations with Jerzy Grotowski, Eugenio Barba, and Yves Lebreton, Lindh founded the first laboratory theatre in Sweden in 1971, the Institutet för Scenkonst. His practice of collective improvisation is viewed in light of postdramatic concerns such as its resistance to fixed scores, directorial montage, and choreography as an organizing principle

Conversion and Artistic Creation of Magdalena V.
This Bachelor thesis Conversion and Artistic Creation of Magdalena V. deals with the change of artistic expression of the Czech graphic artist Magdalena V., in a close connection to her religious conversion to the Catholic faith. The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge of the psychology of religion. It introduces basic definitions and concepts of religion in relation to a religious conversion. In the second part, the author deals with the psychological analysis of Magdalena V.'s typical work through her life, which is supported by numerous photographs. Using the approach of rožnovská school, the author attempts to interpret this artwork on a hypothetical level, focusing on the M.V.'s life and artistic paralel before and after her conversion. The author draws on Magdalena V.'s testimonies about her life which bring light on the intention and context in her art. Related to the author's identification with Magdalena V.'s work, which later became apparent, this paper evolved further into identifying these moments and thus the potential risks inherent in author's own therapeutic work

Spędzamy średnio 90% naszego czasu w pomieszczeniach zamkniętych. Od jakości powietrza, którym oddychamy, po materiały użyte wewnątrz - budynki, w których pracujemy, mieszkamy i odpoczywamy, mają ogromny wpływ na nasze zdrowie i samopoczucie. Przestrzenie w jakich przebywamy odgrywają kluczową rolę w zapobieganiu rozprzestrzeniania się chorób. Zrównoważone budynki chronią zasoby naturalne, stawiają na dobrą wentylację i są wysoce energooszczędne. Zmniejszają ilość odpadów i zanieczyszczenie powietrza oraz są budowane z nietoksycznych, zrównoważonych materiałów. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono trendy związane ze zrównoważonym budownictwem w kontekście kreowania przestrzeni biurowych w kierunku zdrowych, bezpiecznych i elastycznych miejsc pracy w czasach pandemicznych oraz postpandemicznych.We spend on average 90% of our time indoors. From the quality of the air we breathe to the materials used inside, the buildings in which we work, live and rest have a huge impact on our health and well-being. The spaces we inhabit play a key role in preventing the spread of disease. Sustainable buildings conserve natural resources, rely on good ventilation and are highly energy efficient. They reduce waste and air pollution and are built with non-toxic, sustainable materials. This article presents trends related to sustainable construction in the context of creating office spaces towards healthy, safe and flexible workplaces in pandemic and post-pandemic times

ABSTRACT
First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Magdalena Woloszynska is the first author on ‘The Elongator complex regulates hypocotyl growth in darkness and during photomorphogenesis’, published in Journal of Cell Science. While completing this work, Magdalena was a postdoctoral fellow in the Chromatin and Growth Control group at the VIB-UGent Center for Plant Systems Biology at Ghent University, Belgium. Her research interests include plant molecular biology, epigenetics, transcriptomics, plant physiology and plant mitochondria.</jats:p
The Challenges of Sustainable Development Goals faced by the building sector
Obserwujemy coraz większą świadomość dotyczącą zmian klimatycznych i potrzeby budowania w zrównoważony sposób. Niezwykle istotne jest zachowanie najwyższych standardów oraz norm dotyczących zarówno budowania, funkcjonowania, jak i późniejszej rozbiórki inwestycji, która zamyka cykl życia budynku. Całościowe podejście sprzyja wdrażaniu zasad gospodarki o obiegu zamkniętym, a także niwelowaniu śladu węglowego.
Dlatego właśnie środowisko budowlane jest kluczowym celem polityki Komisji Europejskiej w zakresie gospodarki obiegowej: odnawialnego systemu gospodarczego, w którym zużycie zasobów i energii jest ograniczone do minimum. Nie mamy innego kierunku rozwoju niż ten, by dążyć do budynków o zerowym śladzie węglowym. Porozumienie paryskie z 2015 roku stawia tę kwestię jasno: do 2050 roku konieczne jest zdekarbonizowanie światowej gospodarki, a budownictwo jest jednym z jej filarów. Sustainable Development Goals warto traktować więc jak przewodnik po skonkretyzowanych, nazwanych wyzwaniach w obszarze poprawy stanu środowiska i warunków życia człowieka.Buildings require huge amounts of energy, which contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. Green building projects aim to reduce the environmental impact of buildings throughout their life cycle, from planning, design, construction, use and disposal. The projects strive to achieve water and energy savings through, for example, the use of smart meters and LED lighting.
A sustainable building is a solution that mitigates climate change. The Energy-efficient construction of new buildings and the renovation of existing ones can reduce energy consumption for space and water heating in buildings by 40-50%. However, if current inefficient building practices persist, buildings could account for 70% of CO2 emissions by 2050.
The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in September 2015 confirmed the need for political commitments by the international community in pursuit of sustainable development, in line with the principles of Agenda 21, including common but differentiated responsibilities. The Summit’s outcome document provides guidance for achieving sustainable development as a means of increasing the welfare of present and future generations in all countries - the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are based on minimising the types of consumption and production that have negative externalities, while seeking to maximise the types of consumption and production that have positive externalities.
