A Study on Perception of Consumer Protection in Myanmar (Case Study on Five Townships in Naypyitaw) (Win Theingi, 2023)
This paper investigates on perception of consumer protection in Myanmar:
case study on five townships in Nay Pyi Taw. The objectives of the study are to
identify the current situation of consumer protection activities in Myanmar and to
determine the factors influencing to perception on consumer protection. In this study,
200 respondents are asked to collect the data. Their responses are gathered through
face-to-face interviews and questionnaire surveys with a self-administered
questionnaire. It is found that most respondents get the information for consumer
protection from newspapers. It is also found that the overall mean values of consumer
rights, entrepreneur responsibilities and grantee of goods for consumer protection are
at the strongly agree levels of customers and consumer responsibilities is at the agree
levels of customers. Department of Consumer Affair mainly serves for consumer
protection. The results say that there are many problems for foods, other products and
services. Therefore, respective organizations and people should ensure the policy and
plans to protect public from those problems. Knowledge of consumer protection can
change the perception of people in concern with consumer protection

Applying Q Methodology in Developing Destination Images from the Traveller Generated Photographs
Win Theingi, first year doctoral student in the department of strategy development in emerging industry, National Chi Nan University, Taiwan.
Yung-Ping Tseng is an Associate Professor at National Chi Nan University ([email protected]), Taiwan. His research interests are situated in the fields of community based tourism development, Tourism Resilience, Indigenous Tourism, and Destination Management. This paper investigates the perceived destination image of Sun Moon Lake (SML) and develops the projected destination brand image for SML Tourism Circle (SMLTC). This paper uses traveller-generated image (TGI) to conduct Q methodology approach. Q methodology is a combination of a quantitative approach with the interpretation of qualitative research. 20 stakeholders of SML-TC are asked to Q sort using a photograph from score +4 to -4, and then why they choose are asked. Next, PQ method software is applied for Q method analysis and three distinct factors have resulted - three types of attributes are identified as SML perceived image: (1) - mountain climbing and hiking, (2) - local landscape and culture, (3) - participating in sport events plus high-end accommodation. A projected image and brand are developed based on these attributes
A Study on E-Government Implementation in Punbic Services Delivery at Directorate of Investment and Company Administration ( DICA) (Win Theingi Tin, 2025)
This study explores user satisfaction with the digital services of the
Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) in Myanmar, based
on 285 responses. Most users are experienced, well-educated male professionals in
managerial roles, which reflects DICA’s primary audience. Findings show that
DICA’s digital infrastructure is largely reliable, with stable internet, up-to-date
equipment, and user-friendly platforms. While some service interruptions and upgrade
needs were reported, the system overall supports efficient service delivery. Staff
competency is a key factor influencing satisfaction, with users recognizing the
employees’ skills, though further training is recommended. Process automation has
improved accuracy and efficiency, yet full digital transformation is still in progress.
Accessibility is strong due to online and mobile availability, supported by
multilingual options, but outreach to rural and less digitally skilled users needs
improvement. Overall satisfaction is high, and the analysis confirms that all key
factors—especially employee competency and ease of use significantly impact user
satisfaction

You-Zih, Jiang, Doctoral candidate in the department of strategy development in emerging industry, National Chi Nan University, Taiwan.Corresponding author([email protected])
Win Theingi, first year doctoral student in the department of strategy development in emerging industry, National Chi Nan University, Taiwan.Previous studies primarily focused on the perspective of parents, giving little attention to the viewpoint of children. Exploring children's travel experiences can be challenging both ethically and in terms of data collection. This study overcomes these difficulties by using children's paintings as the method of data collection, which provides objective and measurable data. This study applied means-end chain (MEC) and content analysis to analyze the pictures. A total of 309 pictures were collected, and 13 Attributes(A), 11 Consequences(C), and 7 values(V) of children's travel experience were identified through MEC. Results revealed that children place great value on participating in activities with their families, particularly those that provide joy, happiness, and hedonic value, such as theme parks, natural scenery, and cultural experiences. Therefore, future travel itineraries should include a variety of fun activities for kids to enhance the family travel experience
ATM Service on MPU System using Mobile Agent Based Windows Communication Foundation
Mobile agent can provide a convenient, efficient, and robust framework and WCF(Windows Communication Foundation)technology is used to manage the communicationbetween the agents. In this system, we willdemonstrate MPU (Myanmar Payment Union)banking service using WCF framework withmobile agent. WCF is used between ATM(Automated Teller Machine) and banking servers.Firstly, we have implemented ATM client and itwas carried out to bank server by TransactionAgent, WCF agent and Dataflow Agent. As thissystem is intended to show mobile agent basedtransactions, we considered two paradigms ofbanking services using MPU which are OnUs andOffUs transactions. These services can beaccepted from anywhere the ATM machines exist. At last we implement OnUs transactions directlywith specific Bank Database through Transactionand Dataflow agents. OffUs Transactions goeswith Transaction Agent, WCF Agent and DataflowAgent. The demonstration of this system isimplemented by using C#.NET and InternetInformation Service (IIS) 6 for setting up WCFAgent Service
Voltage stability studies of wind turbine
The voltage stability and ride-through capability of wind turbines is determined by the corresponding parameters and control policy of the wind turbines. The short-circuit failures in the transmission system can result in the acceleration of the wind turbines, which will absorb a significant amount of the reactive power from the power grid. In this case, voltage stability may not be maintained and the wind turbines will be disconnected from the grid by the protective devices. However the system operator requires that the system voltage can be maintained after a short circuit failure without the disconnection of the wind turbines with the transmission system. Therefore some reactive power compensation devices such as Statcom and synchronous compensators are used to supply reactive power in the contingency states when the grid voltage drops. The capability of maintaining the voltage stability can also be improved by carefully selecting generator parameters and control policies. In this project, the voltage stability of wind power system and redundancy of the reactive power compensation devices will be studied.Bachelor of Engineerin
