In this comparative study of the form and theology of Flannery O'Connor and Simone Weil I interrogate how Weil's philosophical writings and her theology illuminate O'Connor's use of both narrative and non-fictional forms, and her Catholicism. Was bringt die Föderalismusreform? Wahrscheinliche Effekte der geänderten Zustimmungspflicht
The recently enacted reform of German federalism is supposed to make legislation faster, more efficient and better. To what extent are these expectations justified? In order to assess the likely effects of the reform, this study uses a research design that was recently applied by the Research and Reference Services of the German Bundestag (parliament): we estimate the future effects of the reform by analyzing the impact it would have had on the legislation in the 14th and 15th term of the Bundestag if it had already been been in force at that time. In particular we ask: To what extent would the number of laws requiring the consent of the states' chamber, the Bundesrat, have been reduced? Which type of laws would have been affected by this reduction - the more controversial ones, or the less controversial ones? Which policy sectors would have seen the greatest reduction? How much would the reduction have increased the government's capacity to act effectively? Would the legislative process have been accelerated? -- Die verabschiedete Föderalismusreform soll die Gesetzgebung in Deutschland schneller, effizienter und besser machen. Inwiefern sind diese Erwartungen berechtigt? Zur Abschätzung der Reformfolgen auf die Bundesgesetzgebung folgen wir in dem vorliegenden Working Paper einer Vorgehensweise, die der Wissenschaftliche Dienst des Bundestages kürzlich in einer Studie angewandt hat: Die Auswirkungen der Föderalismusreform insbesondere auf die Zustimmungspflicht werden anhand der Gesetzgebung der 14. und 15. Legislaturperiode untersucht. Wir fragen insbesondere: Wie stark hätte sich der Anteil der Zustimmungsgesetze verringert, wenn die neuen Zustimmungsregeln schon in diesen beiden Legislaturperioden gegolten hätten? Wären eher zwischen Regierung strittige oder unstrittige Gesetze von der Zustimmungspflicht befreit worden? Welche Politikbereiche wären betroffen? Wie sehr hätte sich die politische Handlungsfreiheit der Bundesregierung erhöht? Wäre die Gesetzgebung durch die veränderten Zustimmungsregeln beschleunigt worden?

W artykule ukazano myśl o ofierze w życiu i pismach intelektualistki, jak również analogie, które rzucają nowe światło na ofiarę Weil. Jako klucz do interpretacji i zrozumienia ofiary Weil, autorka analizuje myśl Emmanuela Levinasa oraz Józefa Tischnera.The author interprets the sacrifice that Simone Weil filed with itself. The main point of the present article is the assumption that the sacrifice Simone Weil was the most important idea of her life. A thought about the victim is portraying the article in the life and letters of the intellectual, as well as is portraying analogies which are shedding new light on the Weil victim. Simone de Beauvoir en España: sus obras traducidas y su recepción en la prensa
In the times of the restrictive socio political and cultural Franco context, our author’s presence went progressively growing as the prohibitions were loosed, becoming a plain and visible presence during the Transition times if we take into account her reception in the Spanish edition world and in the Press. Considering, on one hand, first the high number of her works (re) editions as well as, afterward, the new Second Sex translation into Spanish (1999, 2005) and, on the other hand, the good and very good valuation (obviously unequal according to the ideology) of the Press, our author is now a classic in our country. It is true that in some Humanities fields her consecration is irrefutable since she is of compulsory mention, nevertheless in the Literary Studies she hasn’t benefited of the same chance. Still enduring the accusations of misoginy and those of defending masculine values –some long time accusations since they go back to the publication of the Second Sex in France, and after taken on the behalf of the postmodern French feminism–, new times in the reception of Simone de Beauvoir can be predicted since Julia Kristeva claims for the (Re) discovering of Simone de Beauvoir...En los tiempos del contexto socio político y cultural tan restrictivo, la presencia de Simone de Beauvoir fue gradualmente incrementándose a medida que el régimen totalitario relajó las prohibiciones, para llegar a ser total a partir de la Transición a tenor de su acogida en el mundo editorial y periodístico. Pues, por un lado, primero por el ingente número de ediciones y reediciones de sus obras, así como, posteriormente, por la nueva traducción al castellano del Segundo Sexo en Cátedra (1999, 2005) y, por otro lado, por su valoración –eso sí, desigual en función de la ideología– de la prensa, nuestra autora es ya un clásico en nuestro Estado. Si bien es cierto que en determinados ámbitos del saber su consagración es irrefutable, en los Estudios Literarios, sin embargo, no ha tenido la misma suerte por pesarle todavía una desconsideración motivada por las acusaciones de misoginia y de ensalzamiento de los valores masculinos, desconsideraciones surgidas ya con la publicación del Segundo Sexo y retomadas posteriormente por cuenta del feminismo postmoderno francés. Characterization of traditional kefir on physicalchemical composition, sensorial characteristic and anti-Escherichia coli activity
Kefir é um alimento fermentado resultante da dupla fermentação do leite pelos grãos de kefir, sendo estes grãos uma associação simbiótica de leveduras, bactérias ácido-láticas e bactérias ácido-acéticas. Do kefir pode-se obter o kefir leban e o soro de kefir, ambos resultantes da filtração do kefir em tecido de algodão esterilizado, por 24 horas, a 25ºC ± 2ºC. Este estudo tem por objetivos caracterizar e avaliar o comportamento de diferentes amostras de grãos de kefir tradicional e de derivados (kefir, kefir leban e soro de kefir) quanto às características físico-químicas, sensoriais, intenção de compra e atividade anti-Escherichia coli, quando inoculados em diferentes concentrações, padronizando-se o tipo de leite, o tempo e a temperatura de incubação, a maturação e a filtração. Foram desenvolvidas análises fisicoquímicas, a avaliação sensorial através do teste de aceitabilidade e preferência e a determinação de atividade anti-Escherichia coli. Os resultados demonstraram que a técnica de manipulação e padronização das amostras foi eficaz na obtenção de produtos com características idênticas, visto a reprodutibilidade dos resultados. Também indicam que o volume de leite utilizado na incubação influencia significativamente nas características do produto final. O kefir leban obtido do experimento apresentou consistência cremosa, semelhante ao queijo quark, aroma característico de laticínio fermentado, cor amarela esbranquiçada, sabor ácido e boa espalhabilidade. Manteve os teores de cálcio contidos no leite após o processamento, concentrou as proteínas e gorduras, além de não conter lactose. Apresentou boa aceitabilidade e 58% de intenção de compra, quando utilizado na elaboração de formulações alimentares tipo antepasto. O kefir e o soro de kefir apresentaram Intensidade de Atividade de Inibição Bacteriana/bacteriostasia e Intensidade de Atividade de Inativação Bacteriana/ bactericidia máximas frente ao inóculo bacteriano Escherichia coli (ATCC 11229), testado em concentrações <=108 UFC/mL.Kefir is a fermented food resulting from the double fermentation of milk by kefir grains, these grains are a symbiotic association of yeasts, acid-lactic and acetic-acid bacteria. From kefir can be obtained kefir leban and kefir whey, both from the filtration of kefir in sterile cotton cloth, during 24 hours at 25°C ± 2ºC. This study aims to characterize and evaluate the behavior of different samples of traditional kefir grains and products derived (kefir, kefir leban and kefir whey) on the physicochemical composition, sensorial characteristic, intent to buy and anti-Escherichia coli activity, when inoculated in different concentrations, standardized the type of milk, the time and temperature of incubation, the maturation and filtration processes. Were developed physical and chemical analysis, the sensory evaluation using the tests of acceptability and preference and determination of anti-Escherichia coli activity. The results showed that the technique of handling and standardizing of the samples was effective in providing products with similar characteristics as the reproductibility of results. It is also indicate that the volume of milk used in the incubation influence significantly the characteristics of the final product. The kefir leban obtained in the experiment showed creamy consistency, similar to quark cheese, characteristic aroma of fermented dairy, whitish yellow color, acid flavor and good spread. He maintained the calcium contained in milk after processing,he concentrated protein, and don't contain any lactose. The product showed good acceptability and 58% of purchase intention, when used in the preparation of food formulations such hors d'oeuvre. The kefir and the kefir whey showed maximal intensity of bacterial inhibition activity/bacteriostasys, and intensity of bacterial inactivation activity/bactericidie in front of inoculum of Escherichia coli (ATCC 11229), tested at concentrations <=108CFU/mL
