Tang Wei
This article discusses the Tang Wei incident, which evolved across the first half of 2008, during the run-up to the Olympic Games in Beijing. Tang Wei is a Chinese actress whose breakthrough role in Ang Lee’s film Lust, Caution caused a sensation amongst Chinese audiences. The nudity and sex scenes in the film were explicit, and as such challenged accepted norms in film content. This aspect of the film, combined with the characterization of a national traitor as a heroine, caused deep concern among some parties involved in film regulation and censorship. The argument presented here is that Tang Wei, who was singled out for criticism and upon whom travel and work restraints were placed in the aftermath of the film’s release, was made a scapegoat for the disgust experienced by a masculinist political class when faced with female dissent and sexuality. </jats:p

Wu Wei in Chuang Tzu as Life-Systematic
Wu wei (non-doing) in Chuang Tzu is expressed in story-bits reflecting life-slices. They are lifesystematic,
not random, not having a system. One; Chuang Tzu is a dragonfly over the pond of
life, dotting the water of daily ongoing without dotting it. Two; the dotting is dot-sayings that
yam life\u27s concrete bits into story-coherence. Three; Chuang Tzu dots and struts around to let
others say, and life-coherenc.e appears. FoUl\u27; life-coherence is a life-family of concrete bits, a
thread of many life-fibres twisted together. Five; Chu Hsi and Chuang Tzu have dot-sayings
that draw readers into making systems of their own to attribute them to Chu and Chuang Tzu.
System is then a verb, to let-make systems, weaving out a system beyond system. Six; this
system-beyond is expressed in spontaneous flexuous story-nets to cipher comprehensive/
systematic life. Seven; being flexibly systematic expresses the inexpressible One Poem of life.
All this while, Chuang Tzu has been winking at us, letting us spin out all the above. That is
tacit wu wei- of living happily ever after
The concept of peace in the Tao Te Ching
This thesis represents a first attempt to analyze Lao Tzu's main method of resolving the social and political problems in Ch'un Ch'iu and Warring States Periods. Lao Tzu, the founder of Taoism, suggested many solutions that could bring an end to the conflicts and to the ending of the disunity of China. Examples of these include the reform or abolishment of some ancient Chinese institutions as well as new principles for the enhancement and preservation of life. All these ideas were to become crystallised in Tao Te Ch'ing, which became an important religious text. In particular, the aspect of Lao Tzu's methods for solving the social and political problems of China in the Warring States Period needs more attention. In each chapter of the Tao Te Ch'ing there was a main emphasis on peace as the main method of developing social cohesion and as a cure to all fundamental human problems. Therefore, Lao Tzu's ideas about peace and his methods of solving the problems of the Warring States period are significant and from the main focus of the thesis

Considering the image of Yan zhenqing in Southen Song from Zhong Yi Tang Tie
現存浙江省博物館《忠義堂帖》收有顏真卿(709-785)書法共四十四帖:其中楷書十五件,行書二十九件。此部刻帖保存了相當大量珍貴的顏書作品,從書史的意義來看,南宋出現一部以唐人為主的個人專帖,是一件值得關注的事情;若從後見之明來看,《忠義堂帖》很大程度影響我們認識顏真卿的書法藝術。
本論文以顏真卿《忠義堂帖》出發,藉由考察刊刻者留元剛的生平及留氏家族於南宋理學社會的互動關係,進而檢視宋代顏真卿祠廟的建立的背景;並分析《忠義堂帖》的選件標準與內容安排,企圖瞭解顏真卿於南宋的形象與地位。
過往學界對顏真卿的相關研究已相當成熟且豐富,但有關《忠義堂帖》的研究並不多見。目前的研究成果主要在作品的真偽考證與年代斷定;然而對於刊刻者留元剛的身分、家族背景,乃至《忠義堂帖》出現在南宋的意義皆未多加著墨。本文希望藉由上述議題之討論,能增進對南宋顏真卿書法藝術影響之認識,以及評估《忠義堂帖》刊刻的價值與意義。There are 44 pieces of Yen Zhenqing’s(709-785)rubbing works in Zhong Yi Tang Tie which is currently preserved in Zhejiang Provincial Museum. The works include 15 regular scripts and 29 semi-cursive scripts. Zhong Yi Tang Tie presents both aesthetic and academic value of Yen’s works. From the prospective of calligraphy development history, it is worth notice that Zhong Yi Tang Tie , a personal piece created in Tang dynasty, was discovered and collected at Southern Song dynasty. Since Sonthern Song, Zhong Yi Tang Tie has its unique position in the history of calligraphy, and it has been an important source for us to understand the style of Yen Zenqing.
This study begins with the research of Zhong Yi Tang Tie of Yan Zhenqing. by examining the lifetime of Liu Yuangang(1179-?)and his family between the Neo-confucianist ethical spirit of Sonuthen Song dynasty and their social life. Then discuss the establishment of Yan Zhenqing’s temple, and the arrangment of Zhong Yi Tang Tie,in specific, in order to show the position and the image of Yen Zhejiang in Sonthern Song dynasty.
There are numerous studies about Yan Zhenqing in the past, but the research of Zhong Yi Tang Tie are most focus on real/ fake issue. However, it is also important to understand the background of Zhong Yi Tang Tie‘s collector and the printer, Liu, as well as his family and the meaning of Zhong Yi Tang Tie in Sonuthen Song dynasty. The research dispute the influence of Yan Zhenqing’s calligraphy in Southern Song dynasty and evaluate the significance of Zhong Yi Tang Tie.緒論 1

The origin of metaphysical thoughts of Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu
Within the dissertation of the origin of metaphysical thoughts of Chinese Philosopher Lao Tzu; the methods of Lao Tzu as for the ideal of "Returning to Nature" is evaluated together with the phrasing images of the humanity in between the primitive society and the civilization after the invention of writing along with its historical evolution. On that respect, in the first part of this dissertation, it is enlightened the philosophy of Lao Tzu aroused during the period of Spring-Autumn which was after the invention of writing and within the second part, it's analyzed the historical & cultural background which diligently contributed to the evolution & embodiment of Lao Tzu philosophy. With regard to the third part of the dissertation, Wei-Jin Period philosopher Wang Bi's "Theory of Language and Meaning" is disclosed. Wang Bi has developed this theory to understand the methods of Lao Tzu's "returning to nature". At the same time, Wang Bi is using this theory drew attention to the pictorial period and the "system of three line" which existed before the invention of writing. In the fourth chapter of the dissertation; we have tried to draw attention to the historical process of the " three-line system" which inclusive heaven, human and earth; and tried to return to "colored and colorless bowl era" which belongs to the pictorial period. This point is particularly drawn attention to the close relationship between the methods of Lao Tzu's "returning to nature" and colorful bowls.Çin Düşünürü Lao Tzu'nın Metafizksel Düşünce Yapısının Temel Kaynağı başlıklı bu tezde; Lao Tzu'nın "doğaya dönüş" ideali için ortaya koyduğu yöntemler, ilkel dönem ile yazının icadından sonraki dönem arasında gelişim göstermiş olan "insanlığın ifade yöntemlerinin tarihsel gelişim süreci" içerisinde değerlendirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda; ilk bölümde yazının etkin kullanıldığı İlkbahar-Sonbahar Döneminde ortaya çıkmış olan Lao Tzu felsefesi, ikinci bölümde ise Lao Tzu felsefesinin ortaya çıkması ve şekillenmesine katkı sağlayan tarihsel ve kültürel arka plan hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Tezin üçüncü bölümünde; Wei-Jin Dönemi "Sırlar Öğretisi"nin temsilcilerinden olan Wang Bi'nin, Lao Tzu'nın "doğaya dönüş" yöntemini anlamak için geliştirdiği "Dil ve Anlam Teorisi" açıklanırken; insanlık tarihinde yazılı medeniyetin öncesinde var olan ve "doğaya dönüş" ideali için önemli bir yöntem oluşturan "resimli ifade dönemi"ne ve "üç dizim" sistemine vurgu yapılmıştır.
