GENERATION OF ARABIDOPSIS THALIANA LINES WITH SUPPRESSED ATNDA1 UTILIZING RNA INTERFERENCE
Get PDFAtnda1 is one of matrix NAD(P)H dehydrogenase genes in Arabidopsis thaliana. Its function is still unclear. This is an encouragement to study the gene by disrupting the expression of the gene. This study was aimed to generate Arabidopsis thaliana possessing suppressed Atnda1 utilizing RNA interference. Double stranded nda1-RNAi silencing was chosen for this project. The generation of the lines was started by creating specific primer for Atnda1. The creation of nda1-RNAi cassette used the Gateway cloning. We utilized Agrobacterium strain GV3101 as a mediator to transfer the cassette into the plants. Dipping the flower into Agrobactrium solution was done to transfer the nda1-RNAi cassette into wild type Arabidopsis. The seeds collected from the mutant plants were checked in selective media. Contamination was the daunting problem in the process of checking the plants. This was crucial to ensure that the insertion has been done successfully. However, selection of the mutants must be done before analysis of the function is carried on the mutants

Get PDFThis study aims to determine the process of calculating the profit of mudharabah financing at BPRS Hikmah Wakilah from an Islamic perspective and its influence on profit sharing. It also aims to explore the mechanism of adjusting the profit-sharing ratio, and the effect of calculating the profitability of mudharabah financing on profit sharing. The method of this research is descriptive analysis. The research data is collected through library research and field research. The results showed that the calculation of profit sharing PT. BPRS Hikmah Wakilah uses revenue sharing system in accordance with the National Sharia Board Fatwa No.15/DSN-MUI/IX/2000 About Principles of Distribution of Business Results in Sharia Financial Institutions. While in the calculation of profit, the BPRS refers to the percentage of total financing and average income earned by the customer and projected the same profit sharing during the financing period. Profit calculation significantly affects the percentage of profit sharing and the period of profit received by the bank.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses perhitungan keuntungan pembiayaan mudharabah pada BPRS Hikmah Wakilah ditinjau menurut hukum Islam, mekanisme penyesuaian nisbah pembagian keuntungan, serta pengaruh perhitungan keuntungan pembiayaan mudharabah terhadap bagi hasil. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui library research dan field research. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan bagi hasil, PT. BPRS Hikmah Wakilah menggunakan sistem revenue sharing sesuai dengan Fatwa Dewan Syariah Nasional No.15/DSN-MUI/IX/2000 Tentang Prinsip Distribusi Hasil Usaha Dalam Lembaga Keuangan Syariah. Sementara dalam melakukan perhitungan keuntungan, BPRS merujuk pada persentase jumlah pembiayaan dan pendapatan rata-rata yang diperoleh nasabah serta memproyeksi bagi hasil yang sama selama jangka waktu pembiayaan. Perhitungan keuntungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persentase bagi hasil dan jangka waktu penerimaan keuntungan yang akan diterima pihak bank.

Get PDFSpesies dan morfologi talus Lichen yang terdapat di Taman Hutan Raya (TAHURA) Pocut Meurah Intan Kabupaten Aceh Besar belum teridentifikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui spesies dan tipe morfologi talus Lichen yang terdapat di Taman Hutan Raya Pocut Meurah Intan Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode survey (eksploratif) yang dilakukan di dua stasiun penelitian, yaitu di kawasan Vegetasi Pinus dan Akasia. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif disajikan dalam tabel dan gambar. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat 38 Spesies Lichen yang termasuk dalam 27 famili. Tipe morfologi talus yang ditemukan di Stasiun I (kawasan Vegetasi Pinus) adalah tipe morfologi talus crustose, foliose, squamulose dan fruticose, sedangkan di stasiun II (Kawasan Vegetasi Akasia) ditemukan tipe morfologi talus crustose dan squamulose. Crustose adalah tipe talus yang umum dimiliki oleh spesies Lichen yang ditemukan

No full textAbstract. Djufri, Wardiah. 2017. The diversity of undergrowth plants on Acacia nilotica stands as food resources of banteng (Bos javanicus) in Baluran National Park, East Java, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 18: 288-294. The objectives of this research were to determine species composition, importance value of species, diversity index and evenness index of the undergrowth plants of Acacia nilotica stands. The quadratic method was used in this study. The similarity indeks and cluster analysis were performed to classify the community structure of undergrowth plants of Acacia nilotica. The results of this study showed that there were 63 species of plant belonging to 18 families. The importance value ranged between 0.97-42.58 and high and medium importance values belonged to Brachiaria reptans, Thespesia lampas, Oplismenus burmannii, Dichanthium coricosum, Axonopus compressus, and Synedrella nodiflora. The diversity index and evenness ranged 1.1504-2.7556 and 1.1067-1.7854, respectivelly. The Brachiaria reptans, Dichantium coricosum, Thespesia lanpas, Achyrantes aspera, Stachytarpeta indica, Axonopus compressus and Oplismenus burmanii were predominant in study area. In addition the invasion of A. nilotica has decreased the carryng capacity of savanna in Baluran National Park to the banteng.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
