The objective of this research is to know whether or not the use of realia
can improve the students’ vocabulary mastery or not. In this research the writer
limits mastering vocabulary on meaning. The action hypothesis of the research is
theuse of realiainteachingcan improvethestudents’ vocabularymastery.
The research is a classroom action research. The action research was
conducted on April 2009. This study was conducted on the fourth grade students
of SD Negeri Kalimacan in academic year 2008/2009. There were 18 students. In
this research, the researcher taught vocabulary using realia. This classroom action
research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps namely
planning, action,observation, and reflection. In collecting the data,thewriterused
two techniques namely test and non-test technique. Test technique consist of pre-test and post-test which were conducted in every cycle. Non-test technique
consists of three ways namely observation, interview, documentation. In
observation the research observed the activities during the action by noting them
on field notes. The field notes were made for every meeting. The second is
interview.Theresearcherinterviewedtheteacherandthe students beforeand after
conducting the action. The third is documentation. The researcher documented the
activities during the research using photograph. In analyzing the data, the
researcher studied the field notes of observation and the result of the interview.
Statistically, the writer calculates the mean score of pre-tests and the mean score
of post-teststhen comparedthem.
The result of the action showed that the students’ vocabulary mastery
improved as shown in the result of both the observation of students’ activities
during the action and the result of the pre-tests and post-tests scores. The mean
score of tests in cycle 1 are 7.05 to 8.16. In cycle 2 the mean score of pre-test is
7.23 and the mean score of post test is 9.16. There were also positive changes in
students’ behavior in learning English. During the action, the students paid good
participation tothe lesson. Thestudentswere moreactive in joining theprocessof
teaching and learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that teaching vocabulary
using realiacan improvethestudents’ vocabularymastery

Reproductive organs received less attention in everyday life , especially in terms of health and hygiene, an interview results in several foster children who are adult in Metro City had symptoms of vaginal discharge. Is descriptive research aimed to determine the frequency destribusi vaginal candidiasis infection and hygiene behavior genetalia overview of foster children in Metro City. The experiment was conducted in 3 places in Metro City, vaginal candidiasis examination conducted in UPTD Regional Health Laboratory Tandjungkarang Bandar Lampung . When the study was conducted in November, s/d December 2012. The population was female foster children who had adult totaling 137 people . Simple random sample was taken of 60 samples , the vaginal examination materials grown on media Sabaroud Dextrose Agar (SDA), in the identification of gram staining, followed by sugar test . Positive test results on the Candida albicans fungus infected foster children in 3 orphanages by 13 people ( 21.66 % ) , where the rate of infection in each orphanage is : 12.5 % Budi Utomo, Tuma’ ninah Yasin 30 % and Mambaul Ulum 0%. Description of the  behavior of a relatively  good hygiene genetalia 14.72%, 63.88% were behaving badly Behaved and 21.38%..Keywords : Vaginal candidiasis infections , Behavior foster children Abstrak : gambaran infeksi candidiasis vaginapada anak asuh di panti asuhan. Candidiasis vagina merupakan penyakit keputihan yang disebabkan oleh jamur candida. Organ reproduksi kurang mendapatkan perhatian dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terutama dalam hal kesehatan dan kebersihannya. Hasil wawancara beberapa anak asuh yang sudah akhir baliq di Panti Asuhan Kota Metro memiliki gejala keputihan. Penelitian bersifat deskriftif bertujuan untuk mengetahui destribusi frekuensi infeksi candidiasis vagina dan gambaran perilaku higiene genetalia anak asuh. Tempat penelitian di 3 Panti Asuhan Kota Metro, pemeriksaan Candidiasis vagina dilakukan di UPTD Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah Tanjungkarang Bandar Lampung. Waktu penelitian pada bulan Nopember s/d Desember 2012. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anak asuh berjenis kelamin perempuan yang sudah akhir baliq yang berjumlah 137 orang. Sampel diambil secara acak sederhana berjumlah 60 sampel, bahan pemeriksaan yaitu sekret vagina ditanam pada media Sabaroud Dekstrose Agar ( SDA ), di identifikasi dengan pewarnaan gram, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji gula-gula. Hasil pemeriksaan positif terinfeksi jamur Candida albicans pada anak asuh di 3 Panti Asuhan sebesar 13 orang (21,66 %), dimana angka infeksi di masing-masing panti asuhan sbb : Budi Utomo 12,5 %, Tuma’ninah Yasin 30 % dan Mambaul Ulum 0 %. Gambaran perilaku Higiene genetalia yang tergolong baik 14,72%, berperilaku sedang 63,88% dan yang berperilaku buruk 21,38%. Kata Kunci : Infeksi candidiasis vagina, Perilaku anak asu
Review of Islamic Psychology: Building Correlations of Religious Maturity in Islamic Education
The study of Islamic psychology is a field that is increasingly receiving widespread attention in the context of Islamic education. An in-depth understanding of how the principles of Islamic psychology can be applied in educational contexts, especially in building spiritual and religious maturity, is a major focus in this discussion. This study used the literature review method to investigate the relationship between Islamic psychology and Islamic education, particularly in the context of building religious maturity. The primary sources used consisted of original documents such as scientific journals, textbooks, research reports, and other official documents. Meanwhile, secondary sources included review articles, reference books, and reviews that discuss and analyze findings from primary sources. The results of this research showed the correlation between religious maturity and Islamic education, as outlined in the Allport criteria, highlighting a holistic approach to student development, integrating spiritual values with educational principles. By fostering good differentiation, motivation in a dynamic religion, and a comprehensive outlook on life, educators empower students to navigate their identity while embracing moral and academic growth. In the end, this synergy between religious maturity and education will give birth to individuals who are not only academically capable but also moral and socially minded
Revitalisasi Adversity Quotient Berbasis Pendidikan Nilai Karakter dalam Pendidikan Islam
Dewasa ini bermunculan kasus bunuh diri di kalangan remaja pelajar. Kasus bermula dikarenakan terjadi gangguan kesehatan mental dalam diri seorang individu. Melemahnya kesehatan mental merupakan indikasi menumpulnya kecerdasan daya juang dalam diri seorang individu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kepustakaan, yang memanfaatkan literatur relevan dalam mengumpulkan data dan menjawab rumusan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan daya juang beserta model dalam nilai pendidikan karakter pada Pendidikan Islam meliputi: Pemberian dukungan dan bimbingan dengan mengajarkan kesabaran, keikhlasan, dan kasih sayang; Membangun ketahanan mental dengan Panca jiwa (Ikhlas, sederhana, jiwa berdikari, jiwa ukhuwah diniyah, jiwa bebas); Pengembangkan kesadaran diri melalui muraqabah, zikir, dan ta'abbudi; Dorongan pemecahan masalah melalui ajaran ikhtiar dan tawakal; Mendorong pengalaman nyata dengan hidup berdasarkan ajaran Islam; Mendorong refleksi dan pembelajaran dengan ajaran bermuhasabah. Mengusung konsep tersebut, Pendidikan Islam mengajarkan sikap seorang muslim untuk berlaku hidup dengan penuh penghambaan kepada Allah SWT, karena segala sesuatu merupakan kehendak Allah, sehingga segala perkara dalam kehidupan seorang muslim tinggal menjalani berdasarkan versi tiap individu seorang muslim dengan sebaik mungkin, sebagaimana kemampuan bersabar, optimis, dan pantang menyerah
FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MOTIVASI WANITA BEKERJA SEBAGAI BURUH PABRIK GARMEN DI PT. AMEYA LIVING STYLE INDONESIA Studi Kasus Di Dusun Gupakwarak Sendangsari Pajangan Bantul Yogyakarta Tahun 2013
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi seberapa pengaruhnya
motif ekonomi dan motif religius sehingga berpengaruh terhadap motivasi wanita
bekerja sebagai buruh pabrik garmen. Penganbilan sampel dalam penelitian ini
digunakan sebanyak 50 responden, teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan
menggunakan kuesioner, dan variabel penelitiannya adalah motif ekonomi (X1),
motif religius (X2), dan motivasi wanita bekerja sebagai buruh pabrik (Y).
Data diuji validitasnya dengan menggunakan korelasi pearson product
moment, dan untuk mengujitingkat reliabilitasnya dengan menggunakan cronbach
alpha, kemudian data diolah dengan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Pengujian
hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dan uji F dengan taraf signifikan 5%.
Penelitian ini menggunakan alat bantu SPSS Versi 13.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan
dari masing-masing variabel terhadap motivasi wanita bekerja sebagai buruh
pabrik
Intrinsic Motivation of Gen Z to be a Teacher in Elementary Schools
Intrinsic motivation plays a critical role in influencing an individual's career choices. Since 2017, Gen Z, as the youngest generation to enter the workforce, exhibits distinct career motivations compared to earlier generations. However, there is still very little research that explores a person's intrinsic motivation in choosing a career as a teacher. This research aimed to explore the intrinsic motivation of prospective teachers from Gen Z to become professional teachers in elementary schools. The study included 12 pre-service teachers enrolled in the elementary school teacher education program, selected using purposive sampling techniques. By adopting qualitative focus group study research, the results showed that intrinsic motivation to become a teacher in elementary schools included three main themes, namely: the interest in teaching, self-development, and comfort in teaching. This research made an important contribution to the understanding of intrinsic motivation in entering a career as a teacher, which could assist in the development of strategies and policies that support the recruitment and retention of quality teachers
Upaya Peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif Guided Note Takinhg (Catatan terbimbibg) (PTK Pembelajaran Matematika Siswa Kelas VII Semester Gasal SMPN 2 KartasuraTahun Ajaran 2011/2012)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep
matematika siswa dengan strategi pembelajaran aktif guided note taking. Pendekatan penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, sedang desain penelitiannya adalah PTK (penelitian tindakan kelas). Subyek
penerima tindakan adalah siswa kelas VIIC SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura yang berjumlah 40 siswa dan subjek pelaksana tindakan adalah peneliti. Metode pengumpulan data melalui metode observasi, tes, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan metode alur yang terjadi dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menjamin validitas data digunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada
pokok bahasan aritmatika sosial. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari: 1) kemampuan siswa dalam membedakan serta menerapkan konsep secara tepat dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika sebelum tindakan 32,5% dan setelah tindakan menjadi 75%, 2)
kemampuan siswa dalam membuat kesimpulan materi sebelum tindakan 25% dan setelah tindakan menjadi 55%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran aktif guided note taking dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep
matematika siswa pada pokok bahasan aritmatika sosial
