Query inseparability by games
We investigate conjunctive query inseparability of description logic knowledge bases (KBs) with respect to a given signature, a fundamental problem for KB versioning, module extraction, forgetting and knowledge exchange. We develop a game-theoretic technique for checking query inseparability of KBs expressed in fragments of Horn-ALCHI, and show a number of complexity results ranging from P to ExpTime and 2ExpTime. We also employ our results to resolve two major open problems for OWL 2 QL by showing that TBox query inseparability and the membership problem for universal UCQ-solutions in knowledge exchange are both ExpTime-complete for combined complexity
EFEK VITAMIN E TERHADAP KADAR BILIRUBIN TOTAL PADA TIKUS WISTAR YANG MENGALAMI LEUKOSITOSIS SETELAH TERPAPAR ASAP ROKOK
Background: Cigarette smoke contains free radical compound that can brings negative effects for human’s health. An excessive free radicals can reduce total bilirubin levels. Vitamin E serves as antioxidants that can reduces the formation of free radicals, so it will avoid reduction of bilirubin levels. Thus far, there was lack information about the effect of vitamin E on smokers, is associated with total bilirubin levels.
Methods: This study is an experimental research laboratory with the approach of The Post Test Only Control Group Design. The study population was wistar rats that developed in the laboratory of the Universitas Negeri Semarang, is selected by simple random sample is divided into two groups where each group contained five rats. Control group given only one stick of cigarette smoked per day and treatment group were given cigarette smoked and vitamin E 100mg/kg/day. Treatment given for 30 days, at day 31 performed blood sampling. Then calculated the total bilirubin levels.
Result: Shapiro-Wilks test has done and obtained an abnormal data distribution. Non parametric test results of Mann-Whitney test found significant difference between control and treatment groups in the total bilirubin levels (p=0,043).
Conclusion: Total bilirubin levels of wistar rats in the treated group was significantly higher (p=0,043) than in the control group
PiCO QL: A software library for runtime interactive queries on program data
AbstractPico ql is an open source c/c++ software whose scientific scope is real-time interactive analysis of in-memory data through sql queries. It exposes a relational view of a system’s or application’s data structures, which is queryable through sql. While the application or system is executing, users can input queries through a web-based interface or issue web service requests. Queries execute on the live data structures through the respective relational views. pico ql makes a good candidate for ad-hoc data analysis in applications and for diagnostics in systems settings. Applications of pico ql include the Linux kernel, the Valgrind instrumentation framework, a gis application, a virtual real-time observatory of stellar objects, and a source code analyser

A quasi-likelihood approach for ordered categorical data with overdispersion
Quasi-likelihood (QL) methods are often used to account for overdispersion in categorical data. This paper proposes a new way of constructing a QL function that stems from the conditional mean-variance relationship. Unlike traditional QL approaches to categorical data, this QL function is, in general, not a scaled version of the ordinary log-likelihood function. A simulation study is carried out to examine the performance of the proposed QL method. Fish mortality data from quantal response experiments are used for illustration
Structural and electrical properties of Nd ion modified lead zirconate titanate nanopowders and ceramics
A modified sol-gel method is used for synthesizing Nd ion doped lead zirconate titanate nanopowders Pb1-3x/2NdxZr0.52Ti0.48O3 (PNZT) in an ethylene glycol system with zirconium nitrate as zirconium source. The results show that it is critical to add lead acetate after the reaction of zirconium nitrate with tetrabutyl titanate in the ethylene glycol system for preparing PNZT with an exact fraction of titanium content. It has been observed that the dopant of excess Nd ions can effectively improve the sintered densification and activity of the PNZT ceramics. Piezoelectric, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of the PNZT ceramics are remarkably enhanced as compared with those of monolithic lead zirconate titanate (PZT). Especially, the supreme values of piezoelectric constant (d(33)) and dielectric constant (epsilon) for the PNZT are both about two times that of the monolithic PZT and moreover, the remnant polarization (P-r) also increases by 30%. According to the analysis of the structures and properties, we attribute the improvement in electrical properties to the lead vacancies caused by the doping of Nd ions
