Full text link[ES] Este trabajo sobre Wang Shu y Lu Wenyu desarrolla los procedimientos y procesos necesarios para la realización de obras en las cuales, su principal característica es la conservación de la cultura tradicional china.
Hoy en día, con el rápido desarrollo urbano de China, la responsabilidad del arquitecto ya no es sólo construir buenas viviendas sino también, continuar con la cultura nacional inherente a China.
La identificación de la cultura tradicional es importante y significativa tanto en la arquitectura como en los valores y estilos de vida que han continuado durante miles de años.[EN] This work about Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu develops the procedures and processes required to carry out works, in which his main characteristic is the preservation of traditional Chinese culture.
Today, with China's fast urban development, the architect's responsibility is no longer just to build good buildings, but also to continue with China's inherent national culture.

No full textAlongside research on high-tech architectural coverings and facades, projects are emerging that emphasize a primordial and tactile relationship with materials. This often coincides with an interest in the local and primitive that suggests a resistance to globalization. The works of Chinese architect Wang Shu are perfect examples of this trend. His architectural works are multi-material assemblies in which raw materials and leftover materials from demolitions of old villages are assembled by combining modern and traditional techniques, developed together with local craftsmen. This physical intimacy with the material paradoxically gives architecture a dimension of universality that transcends the local, because the return to the roots of constructing arouses tactile emotions and ancestral memories that can be universally shared. Wang Shu’s vernacular and modern architecture is an affirmation of the possibility of an alternative modernity, of the importance of cultural sustainability as well as eco-sustainability

Full text linkSegún Wang Shu, su arquitectura produce una experiencia análoga a la que ofrece la contemplación de la pintura tradicional china. Esta se diferencia del arte occidental en que no trata de expresar la sensibilidad visual de su autor a través de la descripción de la luz, el espacio y los objetos. No define los temas a través del color sino perfilándolos con líneas oscuras y unas pocas tonalidades.
El pintor no trabaja del natural; normalmente es, también, filósofo y poeta, además de dominar muchas otras disciplinas técnicas y humanísticas; vive aislado en los parajes elegidos antes de pintarlos, para captar el funcionamiento estructural del mundo natural del que forma parte y compartir después, a través de su arte, ese conocimiento.
Provocar ese mismo tipo de vivencias es también para Wang Shu el principal propósito de su arquitectura

Full text linkEl Shan shui como la línea principal de investigación de Wang Shu, todavía está estimulando la exploración de la arquitectura de Wang shu. La filosofía y la visión universal del Shan shui se basan en la naturaleza, que es una manifestación específica de los valores culturales tradicionales chinos. Wang Shu sigue esta visión de valor observando el mundo y pensando la arquitectura china ideal. Vuelvo a analizar la presentación y la teoría del Shan shui para buscar más posibilidades de la aplicación de la estética tradicional a la arquitectura contemporánea. ABSTRACT. The Shan shui, as the main line of Wang Shu's research, is constantly stimulating his exploration of the architecture. The philosophy and the universal vision of Shan shui are based on nature, which is a specific manifestation of the traditional Chinese cultural values. And Wang Shu still values the world and thinks about the ideal Chinese architecture through this vision. This text aims at returning to the presentation and Shan shui theory in order to search for more possibilities of applying traditional aesthetics to contemporary architecture

Statistical identification in panel structural vector autoregressive models based on independence criteria

This paper introduces a novel panel approach to structural vector autoregressive analysis. For identification, we impose independence of structural innovations at the pooled level. We demonstrate robustness of the method under cross‐sectional correlation and heterogeneity through simulation experiments. In an empirical application on monetary policy transmission in the Euro area, we find that bond spreads rise significantly after an unexpected monetary tightening. Furthermore, the central bank responds to offset effects of adverse financial shocks.
