INFLUENCING FACTORS ON CUSTOMER PERCEPTION OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE FINANCE SERVICES OF YOMA BANK (Win Naing Htay, 2019)
No full textThis aim of the study intends to identify trade finance services provided by Yoma Bank in Myanmar and to explore the factors influencing on trade finance services of Yoma Bank. This study is based on primary data from respondents who are active customers of Yoma Bank, using random sampling. Among about 100 exporters and importers, 50 are asked by delivering paper questionnaires directly to them. The questionnaires are prepared by using five-point Likert scale to measure the five influencing factors namely; reliability, assurance, responsiveness, variety of products and tangibility of trade finance services available at Yoma Bank in Myanmar. The secondary data were gathered from various sources of previously printed research papers, text books and internet. All the data have been analyzed by using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). According to the survey data all of the findings regarding the customers’ perception on International Trade Services of Yoma Bank have the positive mean score. Among them, customers’ perceptions on Reliability factor get the highest mean score when the customers perception on Responsiveness factor get the lowest mean score. It can be concluded that most customers have positive perceptions on to International Trade Services of Yoma Bank. This finding is very useful for Yoma bank as it will assist with their innovative strategy in making effective decision on their trade finance services
A Study on Chellenges of Oilseed Crops Production in Rural Area of Yenangyaung Township ( Ye Win Naing, 2024)
Get PDFThis study analyzes the profitability of oilseed crops, the sources of
technologies and market information, access to improved technologies and market, and
the sales pattern of oilseed, and examines the constraints in cultivation in oilseed crops,
and ways forwards to improving production and productivity of oilseeds of oilseed in
the study area. A total of 152 oilseed crops farmers are interviewed and selected by
using purposive random sampling method with structured questionnaires in
Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region in 2024. Descriptive method is used in this
study. It is found that oilseed crops farmers can earn more profit by getting information
access, sufficient labor in cultivating, enough information access, getting market
access, low transportation cost. The respondents also perceive that they have
technological constraints, and constraints about agro-climate factors, economic factors,
post-harvest, marketing and value-addition. It is suggested that the ways forwards to
improving HYV seeds, applying chemical fertilizer after testing the soil quality, using
modern farm related equipment like combined harvester, and arranging the workshop
on oilseeds by the Agricultural Departmen
A STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF CASH TRANSFER PROGRAM IN KACHIN STATE, MYANMAR (Case Study of Waingmaw and Chiphwe Townships) (Oo Win Naing, 2019)
Get PDFThis study focused on impact of Cash Transfer Program to Internal Displaced Person (IDP) in Waingmaw and Chiphwe townships which are in Kachin State. This study used descriptive method and is cross-sectional study. It targeted the IDP’s community in the Waingmaw and Chiphwe townships, who have received Cash assistance to cover their food security, to explore on impact of CTP via the questionnaire. This study has learnt that Cash Transfer Program (CTP) has led to a significant increase in household food insecurity of internal displaced people in Kachin State with 87% households were found at above acceptable HDDS score and 78% of the respondent households were above acceptable food consumption score. However, the amount of cash the beneficiaries supported with is not enough to cover the HHs food needs and others, particularly health, education and investment in livelihood. The cash transfer value to meet the food basket value and others alternative food assistance and/or livelihood support should be sought to address the need of the communities. The implementing organizations should design CTP to address IDP concerns and support the stability and sustainability of food supplies

Get PDFThis study aims to explore the effect of Occupational Health and Safety Practices on
Job Satisfaction, to analyze the effect of Job Satisfaction on Job Performance, and to analyze
the moderating effect of Monetary Rewards on the relationship between OHS Practices and
Job Satisfaction of employees in KRK Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. The data is
collected from the samples of 86 respondents by using structured questionnaires. The findings
indicate that the employees in KRK company have positive perception on all four factors. The
wellness program, safety training and education program, and accident prevention measures
are the significant and these three factors lead to reach the high job satisfaction. The health
services and practices of the organization are insufficient to accommodate the employee
satisfaction. The findings also indicate that there is significant effect of job satisfaction on job
performance of employees in KRK company. In the moderating analysis, the findings indicate
that wellness program and accident prevention measures are positive and partial effect. Safety
training and education is negative and partial effect. And it is also found that health services
and practices is positive and complete effect. From the findings of the study, the intention of
the company to create the safe work environment by using the Occupational Health and Safety
(OHS) Practices and Monetary Rewards is effective. Job performance of the company can be
promoted by creating the safe work environment. It is recommended that companies should
align their Occupational Health and Safety Practices to their business strategies
Effects of Parents Socioeconomic Status on Educational Achievement of Students (Case Study: Dagon Myothit(South) Township Yangon Region) (Win Naing Oo, 2024)
Get PDFThis study analyzes the effect of parents’ socioeconomic status on educational
achievement of students. The descriptive method is used in this study. Primary data is
obtained through structured questionnaires and 200 students are randomly selected
from four basic education high school students in Dagon Myothit (South) Township,
Yangon Region. The findings from the survey demonstrate a clear correlation between
the educational level and socioeconomic status of parents, and the educational
achievements of their children. Regarding the parental involvement in children's
education, most parents engage in discussions with their children about the importance
of education, designate specific areas for studying, regularly review their children's
academic progress, and attend educational events. The study suggests that parents
should make an effort to visit schools regularly, build a strong support with teachers,
and engage in discussions about their children's academic development
