Financial time series modeling is increasingly complex due to volatility, unexpected breakouts, and the impact of external factors, such as macroeconomic indicators, investor sentiment, company fundamentals, and extreme shocks, like geopolitical events or market manipulations. This paper introduces a hybrid artificial intelligence framework that integrates traditional statistical methods, machine learning models, and Bayesian neural networks (BNNs) to improve predictive performance and uncertainty quantification in financial forecasting. The model leverages a variety of engineered features, including rolling statistics, technical indicators, anomaly scores, interpolated macroeconomic data, and transformer-based sentiment scores. A complete ablation study compares various architectures, including ARIMA, SARIMA, MLR, SNN, and BNN, across multiple prediction windows (1, 3, 5 days) and feature combinations. Results show that while linear models yield the lowest MSE for short-term predictions, they fail to capture non-linear dependencies and uncertainty. In contrast, BNNs offer more reliable mid-term predictions by estimating predictive distributions. The best BNN configuration (Normal distribution, constant variation, TanH activation, 1 hidden layer) achieved an MSE of 0.00022, confirming the advantage of uncertainty-adjusted modeling. Sentiment analysis and anomaly detection were especially impactful when combined with macroeconomic indicators, improving signal reliability and behavioral insight. Our findings highlight the importance of integrating diverse data sources and accounting for predictive uncertainty in financial applications. Additionally, the experiments revealed that compact network architectures often outperform deeper ones when paired with engineered features. All experiments were systematically tracked to ensure reproducibility and facilitate future model benchmarking

Structural connections in circular concrete: A study about the connections between structural second-hand concrete elements
Several researches have been done in the last decade about the possibility to “give a new life” to the second-hand reinforced concrete elements of a certain building which has been (fully/partly) disassembled. However, not often the actual technical detailing of their reuse practice are addressed. This study is primarily focused on proposing the most suitable solutions to what concerns the reintegration of these structural second-hand parts into a “host” structure, which can contain other reused elements or can be a mixture of new and second-hand parts. The overall approach to the previously mentioned task is structured as follows: -Four structural systems have been considered to formulate the input list of elements for which re-connection approaches need to be formulated; -Connection approaches have been formulated for the elements which have been considered suitable for a potential reuse; -Selected connection methods from the ones formulated above have been studied in detail, assuming to embed them in a hypothetical office building made partially of second-hand elements. From the first part it have been assumed that common columns, shallow beams, load bearing wall panels and one way slabs such as hollow core slabs and plank-floors can be potentially reused. In the second phase several connection approaches have been formulated, highlighting briefly their constructional details and specifying their advantages and drawbacks. Some of these resulted in having different degrees of overall complexity. In any case the proposed designs are requiring more investigation before being actually put in practice, since, for some methods a significantly different design from the one used for traditional connections was used. In the last part, regarding the case study of selected jointing methods, it was chosen to address three approaches: the connection of a second-hand column to the foundation block, a splice joint on a column and a complete study of a columns-to-shallow beams node. In final result it has been deduced that, even if the feasibility regarding the use of second-hand elements requires a careful preliminary assessment and a detailed study about the cost-effectiveness of the details, the proposed connections could be potentially successfully embedded in a new structures. This point has been also confirmed by the positive output results obtained at the end of the analysis of the case-study.Civil Engineering | Structural Engineerin
ASPECT PERCEPTION AS A PHILOSOPHICAL PROBLEM: PHENOMENOLOGICAL REDUCTION OR LANGUAGE GAME?
This article explores the phenomenon of aspect as a fundamental philosophical problem situated at the intersection of phenomenology and philosophy of language. The author examines aspect not merely as a grammatical category, but as a philosophical-political tool for interpreting reality—structuring our perception of events, truth, and existence. Special attention is given to the comparison between two major approaches: the phenomenological (E. Husserl, M. Merleau-Ponty) and the linguistic-analytical (L. Wittgenstein), which reveal different modalities of conceptualizing aspect as eidetic experience or as language game. The phenomenological approach is presented through the concept of eidetic reduction aimed at grasping the evident essences (eidōs), enabling philosophical aspect to be understood as an intentionally constituted event. In contrast, Wittgenstein’s perspective presents aspect as visibility informed by a concept – “seeing-as” –realized within language games and devoid of essential content. The author demonstrates how these two perspectives also reflect two models of the political: politics as a space of intentional consciousness and policy as a structurally linguistic practice of governance. A distinctive contribution of the article lies in the inclusion of the Ukrainian linguistic context, which allows the author to uncover profound ontological and political distinctions between the concepts of “present”, “authentic”, “truth” and “veracity”. Through the analysis of verb aspects (perfective / imperfective) in Ukrainian, the author illustrates how grammatical structures shape political imagination and the interpretation of reality. This is especially relevant within decolonial discourse, where language functions not merely as a medium of expression but as a constitutive factor of political subjectivity. The article combines hermeneutic analysis, logical-linguistic critique, and philosophical reflection, opening possibilities for the development of a theory of metapolitics. It offers a new optic for analyzing political language, in which aspect is not treated as a secondary linguistic feature but rather as a key structure of perception, meaning-making, and power. In the conclusion, the author outlines future directions in connection with French phenomenology (J.-L. Marion, P. Ricoeur), speech act theory (J. L. Austin, J. Searle), expanding the scope for interdisciplinary inquiry into the relationship between language, politics, and truthfulness

DIGITAL VISIBILITY AND PRIVACY IN CONTEMPORARY URBAN SPACES
The presented research conducts a thorough epistemological analysis of the total digital visibility phenomenon in the context of the modern urban paradigm and its implications for privacy and subjective autonomy of urban residents. The relevance of this problematic is determined by the exponential acceleration of digital transformation in urban agglomerations, accompanied by the implementation of pan-continual monitoring technologies, holistic big data analytics, and integrated smart city infrastructure. These processes constitute unprecedented regimes of socio-technical control, where perceptive, locomotor, and social patterns of residents are subject to multimodal fixation through hybrid systems of sensors, video analytics, mobile interfaces, and machine learning algorithms.
Applying a multi-methodological approach, the author explicates the genesis of the "digital visibility" concept in the interdisciplinary field, tracing its semantic correlations with surveillance studies in the works of David Lyon and Zygmunt Bauman, critical analytics of surveillance capitalism in Shoshana Zuboff's research, exploration of algorithmic sovereignty in Taina Bucher's works, and urban metamorphoses in the interpretation of Rob Kitchin and Sharon Zukin. Special analytical attention is paid to the architectonics of digital surveillance in urban space, which transforms residents into "datafied citizens" deprived of epistemic sovereignty over their own data.
Through systematization of empirical and theoretical data, a triad of fundamental privacy threats in the conditions of digital urbanization is identified: algorithmic reduction of privacy, asymmetry of visibility, and formation of "behavioral surplus." Extrapolating these issues to the Ukrainian context, the author demonstrates the discrepancy between the pace of urban digitalization and the level of regulatory framework and cyber literacy of citizens. Based on a critical analysis of domestic researchers' works, the necessity of constructing a digital presence ethics as a hybrid normative matrix is argued, integrating legal mechanisms of data protection with humanistic principles of intersubjective interaction in the digital continuum.
The comparative analysis concludes with the formulation of a triad of axiological principles for digital urban studies: algorithmic transparency, the right to digital invisibility, and the development of digital literacy. The research creates new epistemological perspectives for transdisciplinary discourse at the intersection of philosophical anthropology, social theory, urban studies, and digital studies
The reinterpretation of a vessel from the previous excavations which was beleived to be of the Maikop culture inspired the author to revise artefacts of the Maikop culture and their imitations in the Ukrainian steppe. As a result, it was concluded that the scale of the Maikop culture’s influence on the Steppe communities is overestimated
