Get PDFLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar las acciones que se deberían realizar para garantizar una adecuada gestión integral de los residuos hospitalarios en los establecimientos de salud de la región Pasco en el contexto COVID-19. El enfoque de la investigación es cuantitativo. El tipo de investigación es no experimental transeccional, descriptivo-correlacional. La muestra es de tipo no probabilístico está constituida por los pobladores de la región Pasco infectados con COVID-19. La técnica usada fue la observación mediante los comunicados de prensa diario COVID-19 de la región Pasco.
Este estudio permitió establecer valores de referencia para la generación de residuos hospitalarios peligrosos relacionados con la COVID-19 en la región Pasco. Por lo tanto, Por primera vez, este estudio ha proporcionado información detallada sobre la generación de residuos hospitalarios relacionados con la COVID-19, se necesitan más estudios para evaluar otros factores que influyen, como los métodos y políticas de clasificación, los medios financieros, los estándares de calidad, el grado de conciencia y la percepción del riesgo, que pueden variar entre las instituciones de salud. En este estudio, se presenta un escenario prospectivo de la generación actual de residuos hospitalarios peligrosos relacionados con la COVID-19 en la región Pasco, las posibles opciones de gestión y las implicaciones futuras de varios tipos de residuos producidos y del sector de los residuos a lo largo del período pandémico. Este estudio también proporcionó una ecuación de estimación de la cantidad de residuos peligrosos muy necesaria que puede ayudar a los ingenieros, al personal de atención médica y a la gerencia de gestión de residuos de las autoridades de la ciudad a planificar y desarrollar plantas de tratamiento y segregación para la gestión de residuos peligrosos actual y posterior a la pandemia.Tesi
Pedagogical accompaniment and teaching performance in a rural educational institution in Peru
Get PDFEste estudio analizó la relación entre el acompañamiento pedagógico de los directivos y el desempeño docente en una institución educativa secundaria de Yanahuanca, Pasco. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional, con una muestra censal de 34 docentes. Se aplicaron dos cuestionarios validados (α = 0,886 y α = 0,884) y se procesaron los datos con un software estadístico mediante la prueba Rho de Spearman. Los resultados mostraron una correlación muy alta y significativa entre ambas variables (ρ = 0,884; p < 0,001). Las dimensiones con mayor asociación fueron gestión del aula (ρ = 0,801), planificación curricular (ρ = 0,786), evaluación del aprendizaje (ρ = 0,743) y desarrollo profesional (ρ = 0,716), todas con p < 0,001. Se concluye que un acompañamiento pedagógico más estructurado se vincula fuertemente con un mejor desempeño docente en contextos rurales, lo que subraya la necesidad de fortalecer esta práctica en políticas educativas locales.This study analyzed the relationship between the pedagogical accompaniment of principals and teacher performance in a secondary school in Yanahuanca, Pasco. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design was used, with a census sample of 34 teachers. Two validated questionnaires (α = 0.886 and α = 0.884) were applied and the data was processed with SPSS 27 using Spearman's Rho test. The results showed a very high and significant correlation between both variables (ρ = 0.884; p < 0.001). The dimensions with the greatest association were classroom management (ρ = 0.801), curriculum planning (ρ = 0.786), learning assessment (ρ = 0.743) and professional development (ρ = 0.716), all with p < 0.001. It is concluded that a more structured pedagogical accompaniment is strongly linked to better teacher performance in rural contexts, which underscores the need to strengthen this practice in local educational policies
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
