    Even though women make up over half of the population, female involvement in and promotion of activities connected to entrepreneurship is very limited in India. women play a vital role in the growth of society, their dreams to start their own businesses have not been effectively tapped owing to the carelessness of many parts of society, government institutions, and non-government organisations. Prior to, during, and after the process of starting their business, female entrepreneurs confront problems connected to gender prejudice as well as financial obstacles. The current study that is being conducted will try to evaluate and identify the various available opportunities and challenges that are being faced by women entrepreneurs while managing their enterprise. This evaluation and identification will take place as part of the current study that is being conducted. The primary objective of this research is to determine the status of female business owners in India, more especially in the garment industry, with a concentration on the state of Telangana. It is essential to do an analysis of the policies that are now being made accessible to female business owners by both the national government and the individual Indian states. The researcher intends to investigate whether the current policies are sufficient, and whether or not they even help to the growth and extension of the current position of women entrepreneurs in India. The anticipated result of the investigation that is now being carried out is going to be contributing to the growth of the modern entrepreneurial ecosystem in India

    Over time, technology will transform how we work. It also impacts workplace interpersonal interactions. Technology has also affected the structure and process of government, although intellectual power has increasingly substituted bodily dominance. Initially, white-collar employees replaced blue-collar workers, followed by knowledgeable personnel. Traditional roles of women in the home and in society have also shifted. Due to their education, they were able to enter almost every sector of life, including business, government, politics, etc. However, these traditional family responsibilities have not lessened. Ancient India has a system that granted women total freedom. These revivals have brought with them a variety of opportunities and challenges, such as the ability for women to rise to the top in one region while being held back by family obligations in another. Therefore, family duties must be fulfilled. Women take a more prominent and important role exclusive the family. They need time for themselves as well. Consequently, achieving a healthy work-life balance is a pressing concern in today\u27s culture. The major emphasis of this thesis is on the lives of working women, specifically on analysing the issue of work-life balance and creating a model for optimal work-life balance

    Computation design method for Statics-Responsive Grid Shells

    Quadrangular Grid shells have generated interest in recent years for their application in rationalizing free form geometry in the built environment. Shell structure are efficient because their form is governed by flow of internal forces. But while discretizing shells into grid shells, instead of using flow of forces, current method follows patterns and tessellation techniques. Quadrangular grids are easier to manufacture but they are not stiff inherently compared to triangulated meshed grid, which doesn’t allow them to be used as frequently. There is a scope to improve stiffness by discretization informed by flow of forces. A workflow was developed for designing quadrangular static-responsive grid shells which are structurally efficient, homogenous and has near planar cladding, including preferences of the designer. The workflow is set up in a parametric environment in grasshopper, a plugin for Rhino 3d modelling software. It uses particle spring method for form finding a shell which has membrane like load bearing behaviour. The solid shell is discretized into a grid shell by a custom stress line generator which uses principal stress vector field derived by Finite element analysis of the shell. The grid shell is homogenised and optimized for planarity by dynamic relaxation. Multiple design alternatives are generated and stored. Design space is explored by using data analytics and visualization techniques which helps user to make informed design decisions. The workflow is applied to create a grid shell over delft bus station as a case study to protect travellers from varying weather conditions. The results are quite satisfactory in terms of structural performance when compared to methods used in state of the art in practice. Stiffness of a structure can be measure by total strain energy. The grid shell for delft bus station generated using this workflow was 32% and 49% lower in terms of total strain energy(compliance) than regular quad grid shell and diagrid quad shell respectively. The results are promising for real life application. Meaning that the workflow can be used to find a homogenised quadrangular grid shell which are stiffer than their predecessors. Grid shells are used for approximating free form geometry for various projects around the globe.     A Meshfree-Based Lattice Boltzmann Approach for Simulation of Fluid Flows Within Complex Geometries

    This chapter develops a meshless formulation of lattice Boltzmann method for simulation of fluid flows within complex and irregular geometries. The meshless feature of proposed technique will improve the accuracy of standard lattice Boltzmann method within complicated fluid domains. Discretization of such domains itself may introduce significant numerical errors into the solution. Specifically, in phase transition or moving boundary problems, discretization of the domain is a time-consuming and complex process. In these problems, at each time step, the computational domain may change its shape and need to be re-meshed accordingly for the purpose of accuracy and stability of the solution. The author proposes to combine lattice Boltzmann method with a Galerkin meshfree technique popularly known as element-free Galerkin method in this chapter to remove the difficulties associated with traditional grid-based methods. </jats:p

    The health care industry is characterized by constant advances to efficiently provide safe, effective, and high-quality services. Effective leadership is needed to steer and accelerate changes at all levels of the health system to realise the goals of the ongoing reforms in health care organisations. Because managerial and clinical workforces are equally represented in the health care sector, specific issues arise. This study explores the idea of leadership in light of recent efforts by healthcare organizations to pinpoint the essential skills and education needed by workforces in health management and leadership positions to do their jobs well. In order to accomplish organizational goals, a leader must be able to influence their subordinates' attitudes, convictions, and skills. Whether an organization performs well or poorly depends on it. Healthcare institutions need effective leadership to manage the changes in health service delivery. To make judgments based on the best available data, there was not enough information about the current situation of healthcare leaders. According to the study's conclusions, more research is needed to bolster the case for links between focused professional development interventions, individual competency of leaders with experience in clinical care and health management, and organisational success.&nbsp

    Multifocal Gingival Squamous Cell Papilloma: A Case Report and Literature Review

    Squamous Cell Papilloma (SCP) is a benign, asymptomatic, exophytic cauliflower-like growth of mucosal mass. It is mostly associated with Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) subtypes 6 and 11, and has a very low virulence and infectivity rate. The papillomas are commonly known as warts or verrucas when found on the skin. The typical lesion is a single mass with finger-like extensions, resembling a soft, pedunculated growth supported by a stem or stalk. If keratin, a skin protein, accumulates around the lesion, the projections can be long and pointed or short and rounded. Intraorally, the most common sites of occurrence are the tongue, lips, buccal mucosa, palate, and uvula. Hereby, the author present a case report of 25-year-old male patient with a 4x9 mm exophytic growth exhibiting a pebbled surface in the upper left first premolar region, with no signs of radiographic bone loss. Additionally, smaller pinpoint lesions were observed bilaterally in the interdental region of the first and second maxillary molars. A nevus on the right side of the face was also noted. Histological analysis confirmed the diagnosis of SCP. The presence of multifocal gingival squamous papilloma, along with an extraoral nevus, represents a novel finding that warrants reporting. The gingival lesion in the maxillary left first premolar region was surgically excised, along with 1 mm of healthy surrounding gingiva. This resulted in complete healing, and no recurrence was observed during the 12-month follow-up period

    SVM-based Analysis for Predicting Success Rate of Interest Packets in Information Centric Networks

    Copyright © 2022 The Author(s). A consumer in Information Centric Network (ICN) generates an Interest packet by specifying the name of the required content. As the network emphasizes on content retrieval without much bothering about who serves it (a cache location or actual producer), every Content Router (CR) either provides the requested content back to the requester (if exists in its cache) or forwards the Interest packet to the nearest CR. While forwarding an Interest packet, the ICN routing by default does not provide any mechanism to predict the probable location of the content searched. However, having a predictive model before forwarding may significantly improve content retrieval performance. In this paper, a machine learning (ML) algorithm, particularly a Support Vector Machine (SVM) is used to forecast the success of the Interest packet. A CR can then send an Interest packet in the outgoing interface which is forecasted successful. The objective is to maximize the success rate which in turn minimizes content search time and maximizes throughput. The dataset used in is generated from a simulation topology designed in ndnSim comprising 10 K data points having 10 features. The linear, RBF and the polynomial kernel (with degree 3) are used to analyze the dataset. The polynomial kernel shows the best behavior with 98% accuracy. A comparative retrieval time with and without ML demonstrates around 10% improvement with SVM enable forwarding compared to normal ICN forwarding
