The author analyses the right to information in the light of the European Convention for defence of the human rights and the main liberties, of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights and Romanian right. After stating that this right is one of the two main elements of the right to expression freedom, next to the right of opinion freedom, the author shows, on one side, that the freedom to information supposes responsibility and, on the other side, this should be respected by public authorities, as well as by any natural or juridical person.the right to information, expression freedom, opinion freedom, European Court of Human Rights.

Comparison of Environmental Life Cycle Analysis of Aluminum Alloy (LM 6) Street Light Housing and Aluminum Alloy (AL SI12CU1{FE}) Housing
The environmental impact of the re-manufactured aluminium alloy (LM6) street lamp has been analysed. The results have been compared to the new housing lamp made of aluminium alloy (Al Si12Cu1{Fe}). The methodology used to calculate life cycle inventory and environmental impact is BEES V4.07 and Ecoinvent V3 was used as reference since it is the most updated database. The results show that the reworked aluminium lamp has an environmental impact of 2.38 pts and compared to that of alloy (Al Si12Cu1{Fe}) which has an impact of 2.56 pts. The first major factor is that the housing remanufacturing process does not consider the primary production processes of mining, extraction and casting. The new housing includes the primary production processes and casting thus impacting heavily on the environment. The second major factor that contributes to the lower impact of the remanufactured housing than the new housing is the low energy use since the housing is not remanufactured by re-casting which is basically a re-cycling process
Performance evaluation of grinding and lapping operations for generating aspheric surfaces on glass moulds using vertical machining centre
The main purpose of the study is to investigate potentials of vertical machining centre to produce aspheric glass moulds. The use of vertical CNC machining centre is promoted in the study to make the process more flexible compared to dedicated aspheric generators used in optical industry. Glass moulds were rough ground and lapped using four diamond grinding cup wheels. Metal and resin bonded wheels were used in rough grinding and lapping operation with grit size of 151µm and 15µm respectively. Theoretical and experimental investigations of the grinding parameters and material behaviour that influence partial ductile mode have been discussed. Analysis encompasses the kinematics of the grinding process, characterization of grinding wheel topography, mechanism of material removal and conformity analysis between grinding wheel and glass mould. The grit depth of cut analysis explains the influence of the geometry of the conformity between wheel and glass mould, and which leads to some parametric relations in the grinding process. Image analysis technique was effectively used to observe the grinding wheel topography and ground surface. The experimental process results were compared with the available industrial samples and zone generation method for determining process performance. It was found that resin bonded wheel gave better surface finish and form accuracy as compared to metal bonded wheel and rest of other two samples in the rough grinding operation. Partial ductile machined area was observed in the lapping operation. Lapping results of the industrial samples were quite promising and closer to experimental samples results for both surface finish and form accuracy. It is concluded that overall performance of the process is very encouraging for producing glass moulds on the vertical CNC machining centre

As a natural consequence, some of his analyses seem a bit rushed (for example, his thoughts on nuclear proliferation are limited to just a few pages). Yet Khanna’s aim is not to engage in profound historical analysis; rather, the book can be understood as a smart brainstorming session on how to tackle the world’s most urgent problems.
