No full textThe study focuses on developing a procedure for implementing a Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in the Basic Business Unit (BBU) Camions Isle of Youth, with the aim of enhancing its organizational performance through effective strategic management. The quantitative approach, spanning the period 2019-2022, combines theoretical, empirical, and statistical methods. The BSC is presented as a set of business management tools that promote quality and stakeholder satisfaction, encompassing financial, customer, internal process, and learning and development perspectives. Its implementation is revealed as an effective management control tool, combining financial and non-financial indicators, enabling the anticipation of trends, and facilitating the formulation of proactive strategic policies. Furthermore, it significantly contributes to high-level decision-making and the achievement of sustainable business results by providing a structured method for the selection of key indicators.El estudio se enfoca en desarrollar un procedimiento para implementar un cuadro de mando integral (CMI) en la UEB Camiones Isla de la Juventud con el objetivo de mejorar su desempeño organizacional a través de una gestión estratégica efectiva. El enfoque cuantitativo, que abarca el período 2019-2022, combina métodos teóricos, empíricos y estadísticos. El CMI se presenta como un conjunto de herramientas de gestión empresarial que promueve la calidad y la satisfacción de las partes interesadas, e incluye perspectivas financieras, de clientes, procesos internos, y aprendizaje y desarrollo. Su implementación se revela como una eficaz herramienta de control de gestión que combina indicadores financieros y no financieros, lo que permite anticipar tendencias y facilitar la formulación de políticas estratégicas proactivas. Además, contribuye significativamente a la toma de decisiones de alto nivel y al logro de resultados empresariales sostenibles al proporcionar un método estructurado para la selección de indicadores clave

No full textThe investigation was developed in the period of January 2014 to April of 2016, with the objective of determining the technician-productive impact that has had in the Cooperatives of Credits and Services (CCS) the application of the experiment: "Commercialization of inputs, equipment and technical services specialized in the agricultural sector in the Isle of Youth like road of the sustainable agriculture. Elements were used like: selection approach, technician-productive indicators characterized starting from the application of a womb which contributed in the reception of data, analysis of the statistical balances in each cooperative, and he/she took like reference the periods of beginning and development of the experiment. Among the main results, it was obtained that, the agricultural sector he/she finds in a process of changes, in the case of study it is taken as experience pilot the application of a Program of Integral Agricultural Development. It was corroborated that, a positive impact in a general way has been obtained when evaluating a former-before and the current moment in the behavior of the technician-productive indicators seen in the revenues of the associates and the use of necessary resources to carry out the work. The implementation of the experiment stimulated the work in team, as consequence of an administration of territorial focus what constituted like one of the main tools for the socio-economic development at local level.La investigación se desarrolló en el período de enero 2014 a abril de 2016, con el objetivo de determinar el impacto técnico-productivo que ha tenido en las Cooperativas de Créditos y Servicios (CCS) la aplicación del experimento: “Comercialización de insumos, equipamientos y servicios técnicos especializados en el sector agropecuario” en la Isla de la Juventud como vía de la agricultura sostenible. Se utilizaron elementos como: criterio de selección, indicadores técnicos-productivos caracterizados a partir de la aplicación de una matriz la cual contribuyó en la captación de datos, análisis de los balances estadísticos en cada cooperativa, y se tomó como referencia los períodos de inicio y desarrollo del experimento. Entre los principales resultados se obtuvo que, el sector agropecuario se encuentra en un proceso de cambios, en el caso de estudio se lleva como experiencia piloto la aplicación de un Programa de Desarrollo Agropecuario Integral. Se corroboró que, se ha obtenido un impacto positivo de forma general al evaluar un ex-ante y el momento actual en el comportamiento de los indicadores técnicos-productivos visto en los ingresos de los asociados y la utilización de recursos necesarios para realizar el trabajo. La implementación del experimento estimuló el trabajo en equipo, como consecuencia de una gestión de enfoque territorial lo que constituyó como una de las principales herramientas para el desarrollo socio-económico a nivel local

No full textThe work describes a case study on Local Innovation Systems in the Special Municipality of the Isle of Youth whose objective was to develop a procedure of Local Productive Arrangement that contributes in the improvement of the acting of the agricultural sector in the territory. As study object, it was the activity agricultural view from the Plan of Integral Development of the Isle of Youth. The used empiric methods were the observation, the interview, the survey and the analysis of documents. As theoretical methods they were appealed to the analysis and synthesis, to the system focus and the modelation, these they contributed to the development of a procedure on the Local Productive Arrangements. This investigation is part of an institutional project of the university in the territory and taking in bill the approaches of a methodology elaborated by several authors and modified by the authors of the present study. As fundamental results they are stood out that not alone it is fulfilled the objective but rather it contributes on one hand that, the procedure of Arrangement Productive Local constitutes a methodology that applied among the local actors it contributes to the effective articulation among them and to the improvement of the acting of the agricultural cooperative sector and on the other hand, it rebounds in the increase of the production due to the development of products and services, new or improved, and to the satisfaction of the necessities of the population's foods in the territory. El trabajo describe un estudio de caso sobre los Sistemas de Innovación Local en el Municipio Especial de la Isla de la Juventud, cuyo objetivo fue desarrollar un procedimiento de Arreglo Productivo Local que contribuya en la mejora del desempeño del sector agropecuario en el territorio. Como objeto de estudio resultó la actividad agropecuaria vista desde el Plan de Desarrollo Integral en la Isla de la Juventud. Los métodos empíricos utilizados fueron la observación, la entrevista, la encuesta y el análisis de documentos. Como métodos teóricos se recurrieron al análisis y síntesis, al enfoque de sistema y la modelación, estos contribuyeron al desarrollo de un procedimiento sobre los Arreglos Productivos Locales. Esta investigación es parte de un proyecto institucional de la universidad en el territorio y toma en cuenta los criterios de una metodología elaborada por varios autores y modificada por los autores del presente estudio. Como resultados fundamentales se resaltan que no solo se cumple con el objetivo sino que coadyuva por una parte que, el procedimiento de Arreglo Productivo Local constituye una metodología que aplicada entre los actores locales contribuye a la articulación efectiva entre ellos y a la mejora del desempeño del sector cooperativo agropecuario y por otra parte, repercute en el aumento de la producción debido al desarrollo de productos y servicios, nuevos o mejorados, y a la satisfacción de las necesidades de alimentos de la población en el territorio

No full textThe work was developed in the period from February 2016 to October 2018, in the farm with swine production "La Reina" of the producer Osmar Enrique Garcés González, with the aim of developing a plan of agrarian extension activities for environmental management in the farm "La Reina", in La Isla de la Juventud. The area is located in the Popular Council Centro Histórico of the town of Santa Fe, opposite Esbec No 18, on the Júcaro highway and has a total of 4 hectares, with low fertility soils of agroproductive category III. For the study, the methodology of participatory action research was used, which encourages the participation of all actors actively, in addition to obtaining as a result change, the transformation of reality and awareness. The farm was divided into three areas for the execution of the research and for the understanding of this process, a diagram is proposed to define the sequence of steps to follow for the elaboration of a plan of activities. As a result, a plan of agrarian extension activities was elaborated to improve environmental management and promote the development of an environmentally friendly agriculture, starting from the active participation of the producer, the workers and the family.El trabajo se desarrolló en el período comprendido desde el mes de febrero de 2016 hasta octubre de 2018, en la finca con producción porcina "La Reina" del productor Osmar Enrique Garcés González, con el objetivo de desarrollar un plan de actividades de extensión agraria para la gestión ambiental en la finca La Reina, en la Isla de la Juventud. El área se encuentra ubicada en el Consejo Popular Centro Histórico del poblado de Santa Fe, frente a la ESBEC No 18, en carretera Júcaro y cuenta con un total de 4 ha., con suelos de baja fertilidad de categoría agroproductiva III. Para el estudio, se utilizó la metodología de la investigación acción participativa, la cual propicia la participación de todos los actores de forma activa, además de obtener como resultado el cambio, la transformación de la realidad y la toma de conciencia. La finca fue dividida en tres áreas para la ejecución de la investigación y para la comprensión de este proceso, se propone un diagrama para definir la secuencia de pasos a seguir para la elaboración de un plan de actividades. Como resultado se elaboró un plan de actividades de extensión agraria para mejorar la gestión ambiental y propiciar el desarrollo de una agricultura amigable con el medioambiente, partiendo de la participación activa del productor, los trabajadores y la familia

No full textThe development of a country or territory is largely conditioned by its endogenous potential, as a key factor for development, related to innovation. Given these elements described, the objective of the study was to develop a Local Productive Arrangement procedure to strengthen local actors based on the improvement of the performance in the agricultural sector in La Isla de la Juventud. Methods of the theoretical and empirical levels were used, highlighting the techniques and instruments used such as scientific observation, interviews, surveys, the force field and the analysis of contents seen from the results of the organizational performance of the institutions within the Local Productive Arrangement. The proposal is an open system where internal and external factors converge as an integrated whole in order to provide efficient management of each actor under study. As fundamental results, it is highlighted that, not only is the objective fulfilled but it also contributes on the one hand that, the Local Productive Arrangement procedure constitutes a methodology that applied among local actors contributes to the effective articulation between them and to the improvement of the performance of the agricultural sector and, on the other hand, has an impact on the increase in production due to the development of new or improved products and services, and the satisfaction of the food needs of the population in the territory.El desarrollo de un país o territorio está en gran medida condicionado por su potencial endógeno, como factor clave para el desarrollo, relacionado con la innovación. Ante estos elementos descritos, el estudio tuvo como objetivo: desarrollar un procedimiento de Arreglo Productivo Local para el fortalecimiento de los actores locales, a partir de la mejora del desempeño en el sector agropecuario, en la Isla de la Juventud. Se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico y empírico, donde se destacan las técnicas e instrumentos utilizados como: observación científica, entrevistas, encuestas, el campo de fuerza y el análisis de contenidos, visto desde los resultados del desempeño organizacional de las instituciones, dentro del Arreglo Productivo Local. La propuesta es un sistema abierto donde confluyen factores internos y externos como un todo integrado, en aras de proporcionar una eficiente gestión de cada actor en estudio. El tipo de diseño de investigación utilizado fue la Investigación-Acción. Se concluye que no solo se coadyuva al logro del objetivo propuesto, sino que también provee una concepción didáctica para la investigación y la innovación de las Instituciones de Educación Superior, así como que las alianzas y articulaciones logradas por la universidad con las redes de conocimientos nacionales, han sido un factor clave para la generación, difusión y uso del conocimiento en el municipio, en particular, en el sector agropecuario
Plan de extensión agraria: experiencia exitosa en una comunidad cooperativa con las especies ovino-caprinas
No full textThe work was carried out from May 2016 to December 2017, in the agricultural community Micaela Bastidas on the Isle of Youth, with the aim of developing an agricultural extension plan for the preparation of producers to contribute to the establishment of sheep and goat species in that entity. The area is located west of the city of Nueva Gerona, between road 27 and 28. Extension techniques were used to detect the problem: develop the plan, implement and finally provide feedback. Four components were taken into account in the preparation of the proposal: communication, education and training, adoption of technologies and accompaniment, and aspects were proposed for the development of extension work at the level of the agricultural community. To understand the levels of implementation and analysis of the proposal, the steps to be taken to arrive at an agricultural extension plan for the preparation of producers for the introduction and management of sheep and goat species were outlined. As a result, an agrarian extension plan was designed based on the creation of a work team, which contributed to the joint participation when defining the actions to be developed, the implementation of the community's involvement in this process and the preparation of the producers to carry out gradual establishment actions.El trabajo se realizó en el período de mayo 2016 a diciembre 2017, en la comunidad agropecuaria “Micaela Bastidas” en la Isla de la Juventud, con el objetivo de desarrollar un plan de extensión agraria para la preparación de los productores, que contribuya al establecimiento de las especies ovino-caprino en esa entidad. El área se encuentra ubicada al oeste de la ciudad de Nueva Gerona, entre el camino 27 y el 28. Se utilizaron las técnicas de extensión para detectar el problema: elaborar el plan, implementar y retroalimentar. Para la elaboración de la propuesta se tuvieron en cuenta cuatro componentes: comunicación, formación y capacitación, adopción de tecnologías y acompañamiento; además, se propusieron seis aspectos para desarrollar el trabajo de extensión a nivel de comunidad agropecuaria. Para comprender los niveles de ejecución y análisis de la propuesta, se graficaron los pasos a seguir para llegar a un plan de extensión agraria para la preparación de los productores en la introducción y manejo de las especies ovino-caprino. Como resultado se diseñó un plan de extensión agraria que parte de la creación de un equipo de trabajo, lo que contribuyó a la participación conjunta a la hora de definir las acciones a desarrollar, la implementación en la imbricación de la comunidad en este proceso y la preparación de los productores para realizar acciones de establecimiento paulatino
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
